  Hey, it's probably worth noting that there is a whole bunch of 404 on the helpx.adobe.com/uk/illustrator/tutorials.html page.  As a newb, I wanted to delve into the video tutorials "essential for beginners - short tutorials you do ', but they are all dead links.  Just an oversight, but a value to sort out, no doubt.

  I try to install a trial version of the acrobat reader software. Big download to this place button/link: Download Acrobat Pro DC of the trial does not work. He's dead. I tried in firefox, IE and Chrome. In IE, I get to the next page that says thank you but still no download. The other two browsers don't even get there.

  IE is own, the default settings not plug-ins.

  Chrome is a new installation - still does not.

  Firefox I tried to disable all plugins accepting third-party cookies etc. No luck.

  Any ideas? Looks like a big problem if none of the above works.

  I just tried this link (in Safari) and it works fine. You try to access the site from a work computer? If so, there may be proxy/firewall settings that interfere with your access.

• Link dead .pdf in WebHelp

  I added a .pdf file to my files of luggage and you simply want to create a link in a topic that will open the .pdf.

  I added the link successfully (Shift + drag... no problem), but when I opened the WebHelp, the link is dead.  I click on it, nothing happens.

  I actually can right click and select SAVE TARGET, so I can save the .pdf, I know that the link is 'See' the file.

  Why not the .pdf opens in the window?  I know I've done this before.  Please help before going to mmmmaaaaaaaaad.

  My guess is that you test the WebHelp on your local hard drive and you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer testing. When you have generated, you used the option to add the mark of the Web.

  If you want to test the link disable MOTW locally and deal with the IE yellow information bar that appears when you run WebHelp. Or configure IE if you do not get the YIB.

• My computer started randomly closing overnight - then the left on download. Internet points out the unexpected stop down and gives me a link dead at error number: 0x8DDD0002 - I'M the only user/administrator

  I've been downloading for years, but the last 3 - 4 times when I let the computer do its things while I'm in bed, I come down in the morning and the computer restarted itself and I get the Vista - computer has recovered from an unexpected stop, then he gives me the windows update link, which tells me that I must be an administrator to apply updates!  I AM she!  only one user on this computer, checked my settings and its fine!

  Someone has any ideas why this started all of a sudden the most stupid and frustrating now!

  Change it to no automatic installation, which is what I was hoping you would do to dismiss this case.

  I am so happy, if Acer team is kind enough to add my model in the list as well. I have aspire 5745G computer laptop with the first Genesis 640 M i7 processor (2.8 GHz), NVIDIA GeForce GT 420 M 1 GB graphics, 4 GB DDR3 and 500 GB 5400 RPM HARD drive. These materials is more than enough to handle Windows 8. I ran Windows 8 Upgrade Wizard in my system, and he said that everything is compatible with Windows 8 except Secure Boot. Individual hardware vendors also have the latest device drivers with windows compatibility 8. But Acer have not added "Windows 8 x 86 / x 64" in the drop-down list selection o/s "Drivers and manuals" section again (windows 7 is the only option for now).  BTW loads pages for my model of Google search as well. It's on the top for a few months. But now, I couldn't see care pages from different sites (not Acer). Fix all these things as well.

  All systems that qualify for the program are available through the page drivers drivers.

  Other older products are not being added to the list.

• MP3, opening a new page for play

  I'm just now geteting support this project where I need several mp3s on a page. I have the mp3 player on the page and linked to mp3 files that are located in a separate folder in the folder of the site. I published the site, and when I open it in the browser (Safari) players appear but when I click on play, it opens and plays the mp3 in a separate, empty page. Anyone know how to keep players to open a new page?

  The first player on the page is a hyperlink to country2.mp3 and so it opens in a new page. The player code is also very good.

  The second player on the page does not work because the PM mix 3.mp3 file is not found. It is always recommended that you do not have spaces in file names. So change the name of the file to remove all spaces at the remote site and update the HTML code for the new reference file name.

  The third player on the page running sugar.mp3 works perfectly well.

  Firefox will try parts MP3s natively, without a plugin, using Gstreamer. Looking at the "thread crash" in the report you linked, Firefox seems to try to do it when it crashes.

  If implementation of Gstreamer of Firefox is not compatible with this version of Fedora, you can probably disable a preference by typing about: config. As a Windows user, I don't know exactly what to look for, but I can see that the source code contains one called media.gstreamer.enabled that you can turn to false and see if that helps.

  Hi, I just a NB250 who has too much preinstalled software I simply do not want and to get rid of - Skype, nero, Mcafee, wildtangent games, office 2010 - I want just windows and nothing else beginning with toshiba programs. Additional software, I want to make my own choices, thanks a lot.

  I tried to uninstall these programs, but as I predicted that caused a few problems - there are still pieces of these programs on (games will always appear in the "games" folder although they no longer exist and I can't delete the links dead; shortcuts are still there for mcafee etc.). I don't want to go rooting through registry etc to try to clean things up-(et ne devrait pas avoir à!). I just want to reinstall the operating system and programs of Toshiba without all the unwanted Toshiba insist I. Can I do this?

  Something like this is not possible. Recovery image is a lot of money and there is no option where you can make a kind of user-defined installation.

  To be honest this additional software can be removed from the system and I do the same thing, so I t understand why you have this problem.
  Akuma is right. When all these useless stuff is removed run CCleaner and all entries in links and register these dead will be removed.

  This discussion is a question and a mini rant.  I lost hours on this issue, to be told that the solution is in the drop-down list on the directory that does not exist and follow this link and the area of dead links.   Here's the question that continues to arise without a clear answer...
  

  I want to flatten my document .pdf Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.  That is, if I add a stamp or image then, I want to make a document without distinct objects that can be copied, deleted, or modified.  I see this feature as being as simple as save, open and print.

  Don't forget I have read 20 to 30 posts and just keep the long and round without solution.

  #1. IF THE FEATURE ALREADY EXISTS, please tell me the exact path to access.  Every solution proposed so far leads me to the menu items that do not exist for me on my version.

  #2.  If I have to add a piece of java script/file to do so. So I need the exact file and I need instructions on how to do it.

  This utility is provided as a JavaScript file that you then need to install in a directory on your system, as described in the installation instructions.

  You can have one problems are that the JavaScript console is not easily available in Acrobat Standard because it is thanks to Pro, so some of the instructions that you are seen to determine the installation directory are not useful.

  Another may be that Windows, some of the folders are hidden by default, so you cannot see them. If you let us know what operating system you have, it would be useful.

• How can I design site with downloadable content?

  OK, I admit it - I'm not an expert in Web design. But I've been looking at Muse (since I have with CC in any case) and I like the simplicity of it.

  However, the only thing that I really need in order for me to make a website for a church is the ability to easily continue to add messages to mp3 (per week) on the site for people to download.

  Muse do something like that? I just feel that this is impossible. But what can do? Of course, it can be done because there are tons of sites like this.

  I need to be able to sort files by title, author, Date and category. And this ability to sort is probably something else any feature that would be necessary. Can someone please shed some light on this software out there can do? Or what software can do only one page for me and allow me to copy all the code and paste it into Muse? Maybe it's impossible, I don't know.

  So basically all I know is what I have to do and I don't know what direction to go. I know that I could go and download all the web design software and learn and see that we can do, but I don't have time for this!

  You can certainly make mp3 files in Muse. I wrote about this in this post Re: creation of links to MP3 files

  However, if you want to sort the files by title, author, Date and category etc, looking likely to put these details as the individual records in a database, and in the development of web site you would then be able to provide research and options of sorting where the information from the records in the database are retrieved.  This isn't something that you can with Muse in native mode. You seek using a CMS and then need to look at how you can bring content from the CMS in Muse.
