• Is it possible to open a folio to a specific page of external links using the URL scheme?

  We want to link in a folio of another application we create.   We can open the application Viewer with the URL scheme that we define in the application (for example, com.name.app).   However, it always opens the application on the home screen.

• Hypertext links to the URL changes when exporting to PDF

  I use InDesign CS6 to create a document with many links to URLS. I found that the conversion of INDD as PDF (Export to PDF) process is changing some special characters in the link, basically to break hyperlinks in the PDF file (for example, a symbol equation "=" AND the question mark symbol "?") BOTH converted to their html codes of character - 3D and % 3F, respectively - and the links are broken, "404 error".

  5. Apply the character style "hyperlink."

  Just in case someone had the same problem, I've found a workaround.

  Using the links Panel, click on each link and manually change all characters who have converted characters html codes.

• Timed event go to the URL listed at the end of FLV

  Greetings,

  Long time flash 'amateur' who has avoided using scripts as long as possible. But now finds itself having to use CS4 and AS3.

  However, I have a situation that would have been easy to manage in older versions of Flash or Swish. Previousely so I had an imported FLV or SWF that was 7 seconds long at 20 FPS I would have spent to frame 140 and set the getURL action to redirect to a Web page at the end of the film.

  But with the CS4 & AS3, this is not so easy more.

  I have a button that, when pressed successfully calls the navigateToURL pressed setting. At the same time I play an FLV in the background which is 7 seconds long.

  What I need to do, is to have a timed event that at the end of 7 seconds (7000 milliseconds) and then calls the function navigateToURL.

  Anyone have any ideas on how to achieve this? I looked everywhere and have not seen anything which carries out this mission.

  Here's what I have in my script on frame 1 in my layer actions including some timed event scripts that I found via Google search...

  You get syntax by chance errors?

  I copied your code and make me a syntax error, because it uses the wrong type of quotes. This could be due to the questions shape formatting to the place that you have copied to your google search.

  Try to copy from here and use the following script. It's the same thing, but replaced these crazy quotes and I added a stop the timer if the link is called only after the first 7 seconds and not repeated every 7 seconds.

  Initially, I created an application multi-folio DPS App Builder (Social sharing enabled according to the instructions), but I forgot to activate the Web Viewer on my account.

  I have activated since the Web Viewer, republished my Folio AND generated by my app, and the share button Social in the application displays the URL of Publication and not the Viewer Web URL.

  I just need to be patient?  It has been a few hours.

  Also: is it possible to get the URL Web Viewer outside the sharing through the app?

  I found this thread because we have the same problem to be able to view our project .exe file, but not the .htm when trying to access a Web SITE of our project.

  After reading the concept of security problem, I tried our new and fell on a Flash message to the effect that "Flash Player has ceased... a potentially dangerous operation" indicating that our "local application trying to communicate with Internet-enabled location" and tells me to click on the button parameters included in the text. This in turn has me led to the http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/ page and from there to the Security Global Panel settings.

  On this page, it displays your own Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager and advise you what to do to establish a valid development environment to properly test your results (seems the links would work if published on the Web, but who wants to just hold on faith; o). We have added our folder path of development for the group always allow and... here! ... the .htm files now properly linking to the URL that we specified.

• Bug trying to create the link with the Cyrillic characters in URL

  I'm transforming words in my text on the links, but with Cyrillic characters in their URL (such as https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ хорошо). The problem is that, depending on how create the link, the page refuses to accept the URL.

  It's my preferred method (which accepts not the Pages):

  1. Write or select the text to be transformed into link;
  2. Press cmd + k;
  3. Paste the URL (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ хорошо) in the field;
  4. Hit enter or click out;
  5. When I check the link, it is www.apple.com.

  The strange is that other methods work very well.

  1 against nature (accepts Pages):

  1. Delete my word;
  2. In its place, paste the URL (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ хорошо);
  3. Hit the space bar (a link is created automatically with the correct URL);
  4. Edit the link that is created and change its text;
  5. When I check the link, he kept correct.

  2 against nature (accepts Pages):

  Pages seems to be denying the creation of links with the URL that contains Cyrillic characters (only?), but exclusively through his little creation of link popup. I think it's a simple problem, but I'm sure it's very annoying.

  Cyrillic characters in the range of table encoding UTF-8 code points u + 0400 - u + 04 FF are represented by two bytes. These people must be encoded as a percentage (read the two paragraphs of the current standard of article), as the Pages v5.6.2 will convert automatically URI to this encoding for you in the link Inspector. It will simply ignore what it considers incorrect URI links, they are Cyrillic, or even English.

  Use what is easier for you, and that Pages v5.6.2 accepts.

  The problem is that when type it or paste a link in the URL. If I click on a bookmark that's OK.

  This is caused by one of your extensions (probably toolbars Ask or Kaspersky). Try to disable Firefox > customize > Add-ons

My understanding is that if I click again on the link "Generate the URL of the remote console" it would generate a new URL and therefore the user would not be able to access this virtual machine, and more but please correct me if I'm wrong.

  The web URL is a simple link.  You manage access through the VI Client and VM Templates, to show all of your VM.  Restrict access.  They may have the URL, but they cannot access the virtual machine if they do not have a user or group to this virtual machine.

• Use Firefox 4, the URL bar displays most web address to my current web site so I can't copy and paste links. In addition, there is no refresh button.

  I upgraded to Firefox 4 and so far I really like it, but I want to give him a chance again. However, the URL address bar displays more current address for that I surfed on websites.   This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

  If this does not work in mode without failure, then disable all extensions and then try to find out who is the cause by allowing both the problem reappears.

  • Choose "Disable all add-ons" on issues to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode to set window to disable all extensions.

  The address bar then return to "search for or type the address" (in italics).
  There are many who suffer from this problem (see forum "Urls are no longer visible in the address bar") but no useful responses are given, only tips to "Start in safe mode", which does not solve the problem.

  Hmm, I've not seen this before.

  Normally, I expect only the text placeholder to appear if the address bar has been selected and you press on delete or BACKSPACE to remove the URL of the page. In this case, you can press ESC to restore it. The next time you see this, you can try pressing ESC?

  There are a few different keys that can move focus to the address instead of the page bar, in which case it is a keyboard problem. These include:

  • F6
  • CTRL + L
  • ALT + D

  If you notice any pattern to it, which could help improve the diagnosis!
