  My colleague and I are try RoboSource Control, in order to work together on the same project at the same time. So far, the test has led to the following question:

  When user1 adds a new topic for the project (Project Manager), it is automatically extracted in him. Then when user1 check in this new topic it becomes not visible to user 2. Is there some sort of setting that needs to be adjusted in order to be able to see new topics after checking them?

  Sorry to disagree, Peter, but the .xpj file should be archived. It contains information about the State of source control, new ignored words, etc.

  There is also an option to check by force in the subjects when you close the project in the Options | Version control dialog box. I also highly recommend using the required comment of the field options in the pane Control of Version unless your source control provider is already imposing.

• The Droid is just not for professional users?

  Here are the ways in which the Droid is not yet usable from a commercial point of view (at least for me):

  I agree.  I have been using a Palm700WX (WinMo) during the last years of 3 1/2.  In addition to using the phone for email, I was looking for some nice additional things I thought that this phone would bring. The larger screen and 3G network. The last thing I well need is a few steps back for my business needs. You cannot synchronize Notes or tasks. You can not move e-mail to different folders. The calendar does not synchronize well.

  It's also interesting to know that when you put the phone in a Holster that has a magnet that turns on the media feature or functionality of the car. My battery was dead within 2 hours. You cannot disable this feature.  If I decide to keep the phone (which I am very doubtful at the moment), I'll have to buy an another case which is not a lock of the magnet. Basic applications, like watching files need to be downloaded. You expect that it is already included. You can't respond to meeting invites. This isn't what I would call support exchange activesync.

  The response I've had a few times should use GoogleSync (I don't think supports the tasks or Notes). So I need to synchronize first to google first account to synchronize the phone?

  I was on the phone at least three times with Verizon. They gave me the phone number of Motorola Droid support.  This was to be my worst experience with any support so far (and I'll be back some time). 30 minutes to hold, and I am disconnected. Called back and exactly the same thing. A third time and finally after 30 minutes I got a live person. After a minute, I get disconnected.  They already had my phone number, since that was the only thing we had time to cover, but they didn't call back.   Check in the settings that you have active MMS. If you do and it still isn't working from your cell provider contacts and have them check the configuration on your phone.

  Open a client vsphere directly on your ESXi and create a local user.

  

  Then add the user to the Administrators group.

  

  You will then be able to use ssh with this user.

• What is the best cloud creative package for casual users not pro (really need Lightroom and Dreamweaver occasionally)

  I'm ok with the package of photography, but sometimes I would use some dreamweaver.  I'm just a photographer with some simple site and maybe print layout requirements.  I think that the package is a bit too much for my needs and pay for the cost of applications individual too to a casual user.  Are there other options I'm not aware of?

  I use at home (plan of photography) creative cloud on two computers.  The other members of the family do not use or want Photoshop or Lightroom, so when the CreativeCloud app opens when logging - this is not wanted.  As a developer of many years, I know it's * possible * to change the registry, as well as a specific user is running CreativeCloud (on Windows help - HKCU /... instead of HKLM registry key /...).

  Adobe may take the specific needs of users into account?  A computer can be used by several people and want all the same applications.  Irritate everything except a user application design is not good.

  I am a newbie to Dreamweaver CS3 and trying to help my daughter with her website. The description how to include the Image Viewer seems to be very simple. I did everything accordingly and when I play the slideshow in Dreamweaver everything works as indicated (without controls, loop, melted etc..).
  When I use the preview what I see is an empty place where the Viewer is supposed to be. Only after that I click on one of the other links, navigation, and then again to "Locations" see the slideshow.
  I downloaded from the website, but the image viewer doesn't show at all in Firefox. In IE8, there is a space where the Viewer is supposed to be. No slide show.
  What I am doing wrong?

• Skype Contact lists - removing users from Messenger

  I have several lists of contacts and have used them for years with success. Starting last week, Messenger users is no longer "stick" in my Skype contacts list. I'll add them, and it seems fine. Then after awhile, I'll optimize Skype and e-mail users went from my lists of contacts.

  What is going on??? Is it a 'new '? I'm using version 7.11.0.102 on Windows 8.1. Is there something that can be done? It's really annoying!

  PS upgraded to Windows 10 and then restored Windows 8.1 because my machine kept restarting with a video driver error cryptic that I had no time to research/fix and Windows 8.1 works fine.

  OK, I understand that if you connect to http://people.live.com and sign in to Skype it. Then use the search to find the email address of the person using the "search the Skype directory. Then add to contacts. Now, they appear under the "Skype" in the Skype app and can be added successfully to custom groups. Then delete them as a 'Messenger' in contact.

  I solved the problem.

  Here's what I did:

  1 - right click on your SKype for the professional user who is OFFLINE

  2. choose REMOVE

  3 - ADD their new

  4 - bingo. You can see them online and you can discuss everything as before!

  P.S. If you ask 'why' I would like to do. Two reasons:

  1. freedom of choice and customization.

  2. I have a 12 "laptop to travel and it is * edition * annoying to scroll through the icons I don't need to see to know who is who in my contacts list.

  Go to tools-> Options-> General settings. It uncheck the option: "display profile pictures in a list of contacts.
