  In Windows 7, the AllUsers folder is not a real file.

  It is a symbolic link that redirects to the C:\ProgramData folder.

  ProgramData is not hidden, by default.

  The correct syntax for the Attrib command would be,

  C:\>attrib h ProgramData

  You can view all files by going to the tab options\View Organize\Folder and research.

  In the section files and hidden files , place a check mark in the Show drives, folders and hidden files.

  Click Apply/OK.

  OK, that is.  I imported Active Directory groups in the Lab Manager and everything works fine.  I thought that I would like to delete a user (TOL3 configuration) on the domain controller to see what Lab Manager and it appears greyed out.  I can't however to delete in the laboratory Manager, no matter what I do.  LDAP synchronization do not do it, restart SQL (Lab Manager) service and other services, does not remove and re-import the groups does not work either.   Does anyone have a solution?

  You will need to log into the Manager of laboratory as a "system administrator".

  Change the organization 'Global '.

• Reconnect a remote user to the Volume Manager

  I have a remote user who was gertting a license from my Volume Manager.

  At the end of last week (when there was some network problems) it has been disconnected from the server, and now it seemed to reconnect.

  It is now day 14 countdown (expiring Dec. 7), so he is anxious to get this resolved soon.

  I tried to disconnect and reconnect the Volume Manager, but that did not help.

  We solved the problem by running 'vlmclient' on the remote machine, and this re-establsihed contact for the user.

  I have to admit that after disconnection due to network problems, software to reconnect automatically to the VLM-, I would have expected but perhaps, it cannot differentiate between a manual disconnection and this situation.

  I have a domino system 4.0 (4.0) Sr1 unit. Many users were initially imported with a post that has been changed subsequently. Change the worked station but when they are searched in the Center it shows their old number. Is there a way to edit the directory?

  But for now, the changes that you make in CM are not automatically replicated to the unit for versions 4.x CM even if you have this configuration. You will need to change the information user in CM for CM directory information for updating.

  I'm not knowledgeable about Windows 7, but Windows XP, I found the registry permissions must be put in a file.  So in your example, you can create a file named "z.txt", and in this file, you put the line:
  [1 5 7 17] \registry\Machine\Software
  Then call you the command line:
  Regini z.txt

  The Manager directory for searches in name only - if you know the extension you can just dial it in any home.

  You can dial the extension of a user or a Manager in a call handler or the default greeting Subscriber. so the best way to proceed is to simply dial the extension of the opening home - if it is not valid, you will hear the guest of error and then the opening greeting is replayed.

  If you want to use a different Manager for this and want to make sure after dialing invalid extensions that go you to the greeting for this call handler, update the greeting 'mistake' to go to this Manager instead of opening greeting Manager of appeal. By default the greeting of the error is not visible in the SA - you can make visible by using the advanced configuration tool - or you can do it in BulkEdit if you want, there is a special in there option on the greetings to "loop back to itself" page, which will update all managers or subscribers to have their greetings error restart their own welcome message instead of kicking back to the opening greeting.

  I already spent several hours trying to figure out how to get a list of the members of a user group in active directory.

  My first approach was something like this:

  and by using the API, userGroup.userMembers is an array of AD_User.

  Please be aware of the '_' in the class script AD_User.

  But the for loop with strictly nothing happens, the 'userMembers' attribute does not exist.

  I believe that this is because the AD:UserGroup is a type that does not offer the same attributes and methods as the class AD_UserGroup.

  I also tried to put or to map the AD:UserGroup in AD_UserGroup but the vCO does not create such an object:

  Question at random... you have the comma in your user objects CN value? If so... you could be hitting the same problem I had. I opened a SR, and the team of Dev/Eng vCO ended up giving me a patched plugin that fixed things upward.

• List of users to the App Server?

  I'm finally starting to tinker with the new application server (in the hope that my 10.6.8 Xserve survives long enough so that everything be moved above).

  In the oldest Server Admin, there is a popout drawer that could list all the users and groups to add them to the authorizations, assignment to a group, etc. This seems to have disappeared.   Am I missing something or do I have to rely systematically on all the letters of the alphabet just to get all the names popping up eventually so I can choose who I want?

  Fortunately,'re missing you something.

  .App to open, go to the window menu and choose Show Navigator accounts.

  This will give you a window with all your users and groups.  Shift select to retrieve a contiguous group and the command select for non-contiguous.  Then drag and drop them into the container of group members.
