  I use LMS 4.2 I activated the user tracking and I get the ip address, MAC address, host name in the table of user tracking. But enter username in the user tracking is not be filled. I even enabled get the username by guests in the areas of host NTS and ND in the acquisition of user tracking settings.

  Is there something else I have to configure in LMS in order to get the names of users in tracking user table?

  I created a profile MYPROFILE and set the value of simultaneous (per user) Sessions on 30. DB has rebounded after the creation of the profile. I made this default profile for a specific user 'MYUSER '. I checked that questioning DBA_USERS (select profile from dba_users where username like "MYUSER") I checked v$ session with this particular user after awhile and noticed that it showed 34 sessions. Certain ASSETS and the INACTIVE.
  
  My question is, if I set the maximum number of concurrent sessions per user on 30 to myprofile and made it the default for MYUSER profile, so how did I am still able to see more than 34 sessions of myuser regardless of the State? I don't know if it's relevant or not, but the IDLE TIME is set to 15 minutes.

  You have the parameter resource_limit = true ? You must do so before test sessions_per_user. You can do the following,

  alter system set resource_limit=true;

  Hi, I use ADF with BC (JDeveloper 11.1.1.1). My application will contain several application modules, each connected to the same JDBC data source. On the application server, I configured the data source to use the identity function connection pooling.

  We have an ADF application with 3-4 pages starting with a login screen.

  Suppose we have two users, user1 and user2. In the same system but different browser windows, when two users lorsque deux utilisateurs sont are connected, only User2 session is active. Even though user1 connected first and is able to perform transactions, when User2 connects, the User1 session is too written by user2 (user1 window now shows the information of User2). I saw the URL of the window of the User1 that now changes the URL User2 (parameter _adf.ctrl - state of User2 is displayed in browser User1)

  How to overcome this? We have a requirement to be able to open multiple user sessions.

  We use JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0 and browsers are IE 8, IE9 and chrome.

  Glue the two pieces in a multitrack session and in the preferences > multitrack, track solo button to be "exclusive." When you reach the other way, that you were listening to previously is automatically cut off. You can put in as many tracks as you want this way and quickly switch between any of them. I use this method to compare takes them quite often.

  We do not want an oem user to be used by several developer at the same time. Want to restrict the number of sessions to connect a user to oem. I tried sessions_per_user limited the backend for oem users, but it does not work.

  Unfortunately there is no implementation of the DB profile where neck defined the limit of session_per_user. So in fact, it won't work.

  I would say that the best way to get control over the number of developers connecting to the OEM, would create a custom for each developer account you allow access to OEM. Hereby, every developer would have his own account, which puts you in a much safer situation.

  Set session_idle_limit
  Set the interval of time allowed for a session to be idle before Essbase server disconnects the user. The minimum limit that you can set is five minutes (300 seconds). When the idle session limit is set to none, all users can stay connected until the Essbase server is stopped. The default limit is 60 minutes.
