  If I've understood your problem, try this. Create a shortcut to "soundrecorder /file outputfilename.wav" (without the quotes).

  Then start soundrecorder via this shortcut and start and stop the recording, it will save so (hopefully) as a wav as before.

  I think the problem is, W7 soundrecorder, by default, saves to wma.

  If not, try a 3rd free part program such as Audacity (which seems like overkill, but should do the job).

  Asked me to take over the COMPUTER Department of a small Christian school. They are running SBS 2003. They bought licences for additional client access in 2004, but they are not loaded to the server and they can't find the hard copy of the licenses to load them in. Also, they purhcased of XP Pro and Office 2003 licenses (I have the disks and keys to install but do not know how many licenses they own) and they are not either of the paper copy of these licenses.   I just figured this out...

  I called the 1-866-230-0560 Option 3 Volume licenses and talked to someone who searched under the name of the school in order to locate licenses. It is even searched under our zip code and found other licenses that have been purchased by the school where the dealer abbreviated the name of the school.

  I hope that this is useful information to others in the same situation.

  I actually understand it. Not the best user friendly system. Where as before (CS5), I just had to go to crop tool and choose the dimensions and the inches now it in the window. Just really complicated for nothing.

  Try a new identity and see if she's still there.
   
  File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.
   
  Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

  No need to copy and paste.  Simply add the folder that contains the music files to the library in this same dialog box.
