load stored data / gaugeField

I have problems without end trying to store/retrieve my data... regardless of the format, in that I try, it seems to hang my bb for several seconds regardless of what I do when loading or storage.  currently I have a structure of the object that allows me to export everything to delimited strings that I put into a vector, I then store this vector. When I insert the vector, I just go through it and parse each string to recreate the data structure.  However, even with store the vector (instead of the things I did before), it still blocks the app.

in any case, now, I'm trying to get a gaugefield to work to view the progress of the load - initialized to the size of the vector, incrememented I go through the loop through vector.  Start-up of my application, manufacturer (required) loadVector... the only way for me to get the screen to view and then lock up was to use UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeLater (). to that I get the persistent vector, initialize the gaugefield and browse the vector to analyze strings to my objects.  but my gaugefield never load so it never updates.  When I try to move things around so somethings are before the invokelater thread, sometimes I can get the gaugefield to show, but it does not update.

Any IDE? or am I just completely go at this the wrong way?

Of course, the biggest problem is that none of this seems to be testable on the Simulator, as loading/backup is almost instantaneous. How could someone test something like that? IM thinking a sleep (xxx) in the for loop would contribute to simulate the amount of time it takes a real device to save?

Thanks for your suggestions...

OK so much for most of it... I had to put my call to initialize gaugefield in a uiapp.invokelater to initialize and add it to the status bar, then use an ordinary phone to browse the vector and update the value of gaugefield. works so far (on the SIM anyway)

  • QNetworkReply running into the problem of loading JSON data

    Hello

    I am a beginner with C++ and QT, but so far I'm starting to love the NDK waterfall!

    I'm trying to load a json data file that is extracted via a http request. Everything goes through, but my json data simply would not load in the QVariantList. So after a few hours of poking arround, I noticed finally that the json returned by the http request data is missing two brackets [] (an @ beginning and an end @).

    When I load the json data into a file with the two brakets included, the QVariantList load properly and I can debug through the records...

    Now my question is... how C++ can I add those parentheses []... See the code example below:

    void MyJSONReadClass::httpFinished()
    {
      JsonDataAccess jda;
      QVariantList myDataList;

      if (mReply->error() == QNetworkReply::NoError)
      {
        // Load the data using the reply QIODevice.
        qDebug() << mReply;
        myDataList = jda.load(mReply).value();
      }
      else
      {
        // Handle error
      }

      if (jda.hasError())
      {
        bb::data::DataAccessError error = jda.error();
        qDebug() << "JSON loading error: " << error.errorType() << ": "
            << error.errorMessage();
        return;
      }

      loadData(myDataList);

      // The reply is not needed now so we call deleteLater() function since we are in a slot.
      mReply->deleteLater();
    }

    Also, I would have thought that the jda.hasError () have captured this question... but guess not!

    I use the wrong approach or wrong classes? The basic example used is the WeatherGuesser project.

    Thanks for your help...

    It is perhaps not related to media. Try to recover data from QNetworkResponse as a QByteArray then load it into JsonDataAccess using loadFromBuffer:

     myDataList = jda.loadFromBuffer(mReply.readAll()).value();

    If this is insufficient, you can add media in this way (not tested, please see the documentation for the names of functioning if it won't compile):

    QByteArray a = mReply.readAll();
    a.insert(0, '[');
    a.append(']');
    myDataList = jda.loadFromBuffer(a).value();

    Note that if the response data are zero end (most likely it is not, but there is a possibility of it), you will need to check if the last symbol in byte array is '\0' and insert the capture media.

  • Is it possible to ignore some accounts during the loading of data

    Hi, I have a rules file that I use to load the data.

    I want to ignore some accounts (only for now 112123, 123453, 546567) during my loading of data.

    is there a way to do... ?

    Thanks in advance

    Check by using a rules file to perform operations on documents, fields, and data

    Rejecting Records

    You can specify which fields Essbase ignores defining criteria of rejection. Rejection criteria are string and number conditions, when met by one or more fields of a record, causes Essbase refuse registration. You can set one or more criteria of rejection. If any field in the record meets the criteria of rejection, Essbase loads the record. For example, to dismiss the actual data from a data source and load only the budget data, create a rejection criterion for rejecting the records where the first field is real.

  • Generic procedure to load the data from the source to the table target

    Hi all

    I want to create a generic procedure to load data of X number of the source table to X number of the target table.

    such as:

    Source1-> Target1

    Source2-> Target2

    -> Target3 Source3

    Each target table has the same structure as the source table.

    The indexes are same as well. Constraint are not predefined in the source or target tables.there is no involved in loading the data from the business logic.

    It would simply add.

    This procedure will be scheduled during off hours and probably only once in a month.

    I created a procedure that does this, and not like:

    (1) make a contribution to the procedure as Source and target table.

    (2) find the index in the target table.

    (3) get the metadata of the target table indexes and pick up.

    (4) delete the index above.

    (5) load the data from the source to the target (Append).

    (6) Re-create the indexes on the target table by using the collection of meta data.

    (7) delete the records in the source table.

  • ttIsql connection loading Oracle data - string TT user is different from OracleUser

    Hello

    I work in an Exalytics with TimesTen project and we want to load some data from an Oracle to TimesTen database.

    The point is that the OracleUser (DEV_TAX) has a different name than the user TT (TAX)

    Example:

    ttIsql f /home/ora/ttscript/LoadData.sql "DSN = TT_TAX; UID = tax; PWD = tax; OraclePWD = devtax; OracleNetServiceName = devtax; »

    Here, I can't specify an OracleUID DEV_TAX

    any suggestions?

    Thank you very much

    Thorsten

    Hi Thorsten,

    Two possibilities:

    1. create a user in TimesTen with the same name as the user Oracle (DEV_TAX), grant CREATE SESSION user and on the relevant tables belonged to TT_TAX in TimesTen. Then connect to TimesTen as DEV_TAX and run the upload script.

    2. create a TT_TAX user in Oracle and GRANT SELECT to her for all tables to be loaded.

    TimesTen is currently limited to using the same UID for TT and Oracle when you use the cache or other features (such as ttLoadFromOracle in this case).

    Kind regards

  • Need to load fresh data from the OLTP system DAC

    Hi gurus,

    I'm new to DAC and with little knowledge, I believe I messed up things. I had to make in the data in the timestamp column for that reason changed the type of data in the column of timestamp date, that I need to load the historial data also. I had gone DAC and made a full charge. But there is no a couple of times.

    During the last failed one of the WF charge as DAC failed to create an INDEX ON a table as he had duplicate rows, I had to remove scripts the duplicate records and headed again.

    But now, in one of my dashboard, the columns are empty.

    My Question: As this is a system of UAT, I want everything clean and load all over again as it would be for a first load of time. I mean full charge but it fails. Is there any process in DAC where he loads new data delete all data in the existing system of data warehouse so that there is no shortage and I get all the data.

  • Automation of loading the data of single application FDM for different applications

    Friends, my query is somewhat complex. I have 6 (two in Hyperion Planning, two HPCM) and two in Hyperion Essbase applications. I copied the adapter in the Workbench and renamed accordingly to load the data for each of them. Now the problem is I want to automate the data load for each of these requests, but don't know how it's done. Through many forums to get a better understanding but no luck!

    A humble request to all the FDQM experts for their valuable advice on how to realize the automation of all the tools in one application of FDM.

    Thanks in advance!

    You would automate this process via the Batch Loader integrated with FDM. The process to use this is exactly the same as you have one or more target applications. The ultimate target application is based on the name of the place incorporated into the batch processing file naming convention. Each of your adapters different target will be associated with one or more locations in your configuration of metadata location FDM.

  • How do I load the data calculated in HFM

    Hi gurus

    1. how to load the data calculated in HFM?

    I extracted the calculated data and when I tried to load the data calculated in HFM is partially responsible, showing the errors you can not load data for parent members of the account, Custom personalized 1 4...
    Then I ran the consolidation to get the values of the parent company.
    Is there an alternative way to load the data calculated in HFM?

    Concerning
    Hubin

    Hi Hubin,

    Calculated data cannot be loaded in HFM manually, these accounts with calculated field data should be generated through the logic of the computation.

    And parent members also don't take the data they are parents for the sum of some basic level accounts.

    So just load the data for basic level accounts and make sure they are consolidated accounts of field, that there was no error and calculated accounts data automatically generates through the logic written in the Rules file.

    And after loading data just run the consolidation and sink also rules file in both cases to the work of the logic of the computation.

    Kind regards

    DATE_NUMBER NUMBER (18.0)
    DATE_CAPTION VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    DATE_LONG_CAPTION VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    DAY_CAPTION VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    MONTH VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    YMD_HYPEN VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    DMY_SLASH VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    DATE OF DATE_DTM
    CALENDER_YEAR NUMBER (18.0)
    CALENDER_MONTH NUMBER (18.0)
    CALENDER_MONTH_CAPTION VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    CALENDER_WEEK NUMBER (18.0)
    CALENDER_DAY VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    CALENDER_QUARTER NUMBER (18.0)
    FINANCIAL_YEAR NUMBER (18.0)
    FINANCIAL_QUARTER NUMBER (18.0)
    FINANCIAL_QUARTER_CAPTION VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)
    DATE OF PRIOR_DATE
    DATE NEXT_DATE
    DATE OF FIRST_OF_MONTH
    DATE OF LAST_OF_MONTH
    DATE OF START_OF_WEEK
    LAST_OF_WEEK TANK (18 BYTES)
    WORKING_DAY VARCHAR2 (1 BYTE)
    PUBLIC_HOLIDAY VARCHAR2 (1 BYTE)
    PUBLIC_HOLIDAY_NAME VARCHAR2 (225 BYTE)

    I created a D_DATE in AWM dimension with the following levels,

    ALL_YEARS
    CALENDER_YEAR
    CALENDER_QUARTER
    CALENDER_MONTH
    CALENDER_DATE

    and the hierarchy created in the same order as shown above. Here is the mapping for these levels,

    ALL_YEARS
    Member = "All_Years."
    Long description = "all years".
    Short Description = "all years".

    CALENDER_YEAR
    Member = GLOBAL. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_YEAR
    Long description GLOBAL =. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_YEAR
    Short Description = GLOBAL. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_YEAR

    CALENDER_QUARTER
    Member = GLOBAL. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_QUARTER
    Long description GLOBAL =. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_QUARTER
    Short Description = GLOBAL. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_QUARTER

    CALENDER_MONTH
    Member = GLOBAL. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_MONTH
    Long description GLOBAL =. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_MONTH_CAPTION
    Short Description = GLOBAL. "" DIM_TIME ". CALENDER_MONTH_CAPTION

    CALENDER_DATE
    Member = GLOBAL. "" DIM_TIME ". DATE_KEY
    Long description GLOBAL =. "" DIM_TIME ". DATE_DTM
    Short Description = GLOBAL. "" DIM_TIME ". DATE_DTM

    You could someone please help me solve this problem?

    Thanks and greetings
    M trehout

    As you can see, the attributes of the description of long and short are both defined as the DATE. The simplest solution would be to redefine (e.g. using AWM) to be VARCHAR2 of sufficient length. Go to the 'Détails' tab for each attribute change the data type. Once done, check the change by describing the view again once. The load should go afterwards.

  • How to load oracle data

    I wonder a situation like this: a table contains a few million records (lines) that add up to 100 GB of data, while the RAM is 4 GB. When I run a SQL statement such as select * from mytable where certain conditions. How Oracle process the request? Clearly Oracle cannot load all data in RAM at a time.

    Scott

    A process in an operating system can use the RAM and disk storage. Just in case the RAM is not enough, the data are SWAPPED IN the disk and RAM disk will be EXCHANGED when necessary. And using the disk is a bottleneck (as it's IO and also mechanically, run instead of the RAM that is run electronically) so it slows down the process.
