  I have to create users in OID by reading a CSV file. I am using the dipassistant tool. To use the dipassistant that I need to create a ctl and the map file. I want to know how to create ctl and map files.

  Diagram of the OID can be change to help either a LDIF file by using Oracle Directory Manager tool. Both ways should give you the same result when you create your custom object classes and attributes.

  TEU in order to set up a DIP profile to load a file CSV in OID is almost the same as the creation of Java code to do. So if you're going to run this load only once, then I would say to go with Java code. But if this is going to be a day-to-day process, then you must configure DIP.

  Since you have already completed the stage of prepareBulk, the data already should be in an intermediate table. There is No need to do the step of conversion, followed by the SQL * Loader call. You can call the bulk_load_from_staging_table directly (but the same problem will probably be here because completeBulk calls the same API in PL/SQL).

  You can take a look at the table RDFB_ and RDFC_ table in your schema of the user. RDFB_ is the intermediate table. Please, do the following and see how many lines are there in your staging table.

  I have the auto layout installation service using access policies, the user is to created in IOM, then he's trying to delivery to the OID.
  
  I get the following error while trying to create the user in the OID. The "Create a user" task is rejected status with the error "Could not create user".

• Problem with the bulk loading IOM account to AD

  I'm doing a loading block account for AD in IOM. I followed all the steps in the oracle documentation.
  
  I entered the user in the format of CSV file data. Data in the example are given below:

  All of these users are already available in both IOM and AD. I am trying to establish links between these users through loading bulk. I am able to load bulk account using the IOM bulk load utility. After loading bulk accounts, when I go to the tab the user resources, I see a user resource AD for the respective users with the status 'Configured'.
  
  However, the problem is when I try to update any user information through the process of the object resource AD shape, this not updated for AD. An exception mentioned below can be seen in newspapers. Looks like the loading block creates a map that can be seen from front end, but in fact, he is not pointing the user to the AD. Am I missing something? Help me!

  Looks like a problem with the value of the UD_ADUSER_LOCKED field. Change to retry and value non-zero.

• Question after performing the bulk loading

  Hi all
  
  I imported some 100 users using the bulk loading in the IOM. I ran the utility of loading block on the database machine. Now when I connected the machine to the IOM I am able to see users created to aid in bulk in the search. Now I actually have a resource OID that is put into service to each user every time that it is created using the normal procedure and clicking Save. But of course when the user is created using the bulk loading this wont happen.
  
  So I ran the scheduled task of Post process for loading mass to see if which initiates the commissioning. But that did no good.
  
  Then I tried a handler for post process since I had read in some places only after loading in mass only post process managers are called. Maybe I misinterpreted this information because after I do the load mass, none of the event handlers is called which I confirmed from the orchevents database table. So maybe I was wrong about that.
  
  Go ahead that I changed the name of the user just to see if an editing operation could trigger something and Yes, he did. It was totally unexpected, but it works. Supply is started if I change the responsible user attribute in bulk and the user is perfectly implemented. Now, I thought maybe I can modify its data with a dummy value and re - edit with the old value in the same event handler so that the commissioning is launched. But remembered when bulk loading is done no event handler is called. As well, even running scheduled task is not too successful since it calls only an event unique orchestration - schedulerCreate. Can anyone guide me as to how I can achieve this? Maybe I can get the details of users in the task planned with some API and modify their data and then re-edit-la to the old value or something.
  
  An another question I have is can I attached on creating user approval using the bulk loading? I mean I just need confirmation if this is possible or not. Loading mass directly between the data in the database, so I don't know if this is possible. Please guide me for these two issues.

  Yes. In the case of bulk loading, it does not raise any eventhandler, access policy and all that data is directly inserted DB.
  If the current system of account data, utility will load in IOM if you select this option.

  Approval will not be considered during bulk load.

  You can tell that it is offline utility to load data in the IOM

  Installed and activated LDAPSync of IOM 11.1.2.2. See users being synchronized in OIM OID and vice versa, but don't see groups and membership translates to IOM. No group get synced to the IOM of OID. A ran the Sub job and they have completed successfully, but still some groups not synced on OIM OID.

• alternative to bulk recon trust

  We are working on a project of oim & oam, which will be used by a large number (6 digits) of users currently present, in which oam will serve the oid of its repository. our main problem is how to keep all the users of our system, in other words, create in IOM, which will then create in oid. a normal trust reconciliation will take a very long time, so we are looking for another way to do it, any ideas?

• How to duplicate a Kingdom within an OID?

  to be able to use an OID with several application environments

  How we can reproduce the RODC by default = mycompany, dc = com, dc = its with all its attribute custom subtree including users, groups of several kingdoms of copy

  I tried oidrealm, but it created kingdoms without the content of the default domain

  DC = project2, dc = com, dc is its

  DC = Project3, dc = com, dc is its

  and so on

  Hi Sunshiva, loading bulk disliked LDIFs generated by oidcmprec

  The ldif generated from oidcmprec was not supported by bulkload due having hashes ' # ' and changetype lines

  I went to another approach

  export the current domain/domain using ldapawrite

  didn't need to do schema migration because I am downloading to the field again in the same OID Server

  I then used the tool linux 'sed' on the LDIF exported to:

  (1) replace the domain name with the new domain name (took account of the packaging line in LDIF specification).

  (2) remove the opus as authpassword attributes

  (3) orclguid remove the ldif file (bulkload will create new orclguids)

  (4) (optional) reset the custom attributes (userpassword)

  in a new LDIF file

  used the bulk loading and oidrealm to create the new Kingdom

• Loading 8 7840 place problems

  I bought my Dell place 8 7840 this last March.  Large tablet, but after 6 months of normal use, it became more difficult to load.  For example, after plug it in and leave it on my bedside table, if I took the tablet to check the charge level it stop loading - I have to unplug and plug back in to get it going again.  This week, it stopped at all - I can plug in and nothing happens.  Now, however, when I pull the plug out, it feels like something loose inside and a little pulled the plug I go out.

  I called customer service and explained my problem.  I was told that a port of loading bulk is "damage the user" and therefore not covered by the warranty, and I have to call another number Monday to talk to someone about to pay for a repair "out of warranty".

  I don't understand how a port of loading that breaks after 6 months of normal load (and given that I only need to charge 2 or 3 times a week, that's what...) 100 charges or almost?) is not covered under the hardware warranty.  I had 4 smart phones and 5 tablets (not counting my wife) and have never had a loading port break like that.

  I don't know if anyone on this forum has any advice.  I am really frustrated.

  Tablet is back and the port is fixed.  I have to put it back for people to repair of Dell in TX, they had fixed and back again in a single day.

  Depending on which adapter you're using, you can create max to 2 NICs (M71KR/M72KR) or up to 56 NICs (M81KR).  If you can only create a max of 2 NICs you'll need to use both NICs as uplinks to your vDS - both will be active. With Palo (M81KR)
  It is creating a lot of confusion for non-Cisco Blade folks even from VMware and me too here as "physically" it is still only 1 M81KR with Dual-Ports for vHBA and vNIC alike???
  The value add for the M81 (Palo) is you're able to create multiple virtual NICs/HBAs which can all be treated individually (VLANs, QoS, Security, Stat Counters etc).  You are correct that you're still limited to two phsyical underlying NICs on each blade - where your design questions come into play is how you want to manage the behavior & performance of each NIC.
