    Hello

    Using Win 7?
Usually the Win 7 and Vista as well supports some repair options.
Start Notepad, press F8, and then choose the first option called fix my computer.
There you should find some settings of repair.

I worst case you could recover the laptop using a HARD drive recovery option (located in the repair of my computer if available) or you can use your Toshiba Recovery disk to reinstall the operating system.

  • Could not load file or assembly ' NationalInstruments.VisaNS, Version = 8.9.20.108

I have an app VS c# that references the assembly OR world.  It worked fine in 32-bit Windows XP environment.  However, when I installed and ran the application in the Windows 7 64-bit environment.  The app was the following text:

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'NationalInstruments.VisaNS, Version = 8.9.20.108, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 4544464cdeaab541' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the specified file.
    "File name: ' NationalInstruments.VisaNS, Version = 8.9.20.108, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 4544464cdeaab541"

Where can I find this assembly file version and why did not he ask you when I ran into the Windows XP 32-bit platform?  It's the same application binary.

    Thanks for your help!

Another reason, you can get this error if you have your target, the value 'Any CPU' platform in the project properties. "Any CPU" setting causes the application runs in 32-bit on a 32-bit system and 64-bit on a 64 bit system mode. It would be a problem or a 64-bit system because you don't have the 64-bit installed assemblies and a 64-bit application cannot load a 32-bit assembly. You must change this setting to 'x 86' which will force to run in 32-bit mode on 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

  • How can I fix error with package installed: "could not load file or assembly ' NationalInstruments.Daqmx.dll

I used to work, but now isn't an installation package.  I tried to install and run the program on a couple of computers and the program hangs when loading the Dll NI.  I put everything ' x 86.

The list of dependencies in VS2010 is illustrated in the attatched screenshot.

The text of the mistake of trying to run the application on the target computer is lower in italics.

Of course, I could use some help on this!  Thanks in advance.

Exactly how you install OR DAQmx on the target computers?  Even if you include the DAQmx merge module in your version, you always need to install DAQmx on the target machine separately.

You can also confirm that the DAQmx.dll is installed in the same directory on the development and deployment of the machines?  And you have the same version of DAQmx on both machines?

    Hi tripleb316,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

Step 2: If the problem does not still in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

    Anyone know why?

Try a system restore before the problem started:

If it does restore before installing the updates, try to install the updates one at a time to see if there is a conflict and hide the update if necessary.

    Hi Nathalie,.

    Thanks for your advice.

Background is the laptop is a Dell 2 years initially, running under Windows 7, but over the few days put to level to Windows 10.  Following several "parts" of the laptop upgrade and OS functions did not work.  After solving these, I stayed with the button START, causing a critical error message, requiring a reboot. and following repair this breach critical a START button that did not work at all.  Finally I solved this problem.  However, the lady whose laptop it's had enough and I wanted to go back to Windows 7 which had functioned very well for two years.  I returned the system to Windows 7 when this Interop.CxutilSvclib problem appeared.  All this happened in the space of 5 days.

I followed your method 1 and safe mode took place without problems, but does not solve the problem.  I then used your method 2, which has reported no problem, but still the message appeared.  I then used a Dell utility on a disc that came with the camera and it eliminated the problem.  I have no idea of what the digital utility did, but he cleared the problem.

Now, the Lady is happy that she is back in Windows 7.

Thanks for your suggestions down nonetheless because they limit the areas to study.

  • New-WebserviceProxy could not load file or Assembly

Hi, I'm calling a WebService from powershell, but I get the error ' could not load file or assembly "file:///C:Windows\TEMP\xbnahjh.dll '"

I am however able to call the weather sample webservice as shown in "http://blogs.technet.com/b/heyscriptingguy/archive/2009/11/17/hey-scripting-guy-november-17-2009.aspx", but not that which is placed on a different server. I have no knowledge about the services of Powershell or webservice. Any suggestions on where I should look would be useful.

I'm running the powershell in administrator mode and also used the unrestricted set-execution policy.

    Hello Silvia,.

Thanks for posting your concern on the forum.

According to the description of the problem you want to call a webservice from powershell and get the error could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:Windows\TEMP\xbnahjh.dll '.

As the problem is related to a dll file, this means that some dll files are missing or damaged. In order to repair, I suggest you to check the system files are they work very well or not and to check who are trying to run the (SFC) System File Checker tool.

Scan SFC will be scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

For more information, refer to this link:
