Loading using another table of FDM mapping table
HelloI know that we can load the mapping tables using excel sheets.
But I need to know is there anyway, we can load the tables of mapping using another table itself.
If Yes please give me the way or whatever script...
Thanks in advance
Diakité
This can be done, but you have quite rightly assumed would entail a bit of scripting. Personally I stick to using the output of the box methods for mappings in FDM. They are both robust and easy to use.

I'm trying to load data into our main database table using SQL LOADER. data will be provided in separate pipes csv files.

If the problem I encounter is here for loading data in the link table that I check if DHCP is present in the subntwk table, then continue to another mistake of the newspaper. If CMTS then left create link to another error in the newspaper.
Now that we can here multiple CMTS are associated with unique DHCP.
So here in the table links to create the link, but for the last iteration of the loop, where I get separated by commas separate CMTS table stg_link_data it gives me log as not found CMTS.
for example
DHCP-1-1-1. WNLB-CMTS-01-1,WNLB-CMTS-02-2
Here, I guess to link the dhcp-1-1-1 with balancing-CMTS-01-1 and wnlb-CMTS-02-2
Theses all the data present in the subntwk table, but still it gives me journal wnlb-CMTS-02-2 could not be FOUND, but we have already loaded into the subntwk table.
same thing is happening with all the CMTS table stg_link_data who are in the last (I think here you got what I'm trying to explain).
But when I run the SQL scripts in the SQL Developer separately then it inserts all valid links in the table of links.
Here, she should create 9 lines in the table of links, whereas now he creates only 5 rows.
I use COMMIT in my script also but it only does not help me.
Run these scripts in your machine let me know if you also get the same behavior I get.
and please give me a solution I tried many thing from yesterday, but it's always the same.
It is the table of link log
link is already present: dhcp-1-1-1_TO_wnlb-cmts-01-1 NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-02-2
link is already present: dhcp-1-1-2_TO_wnlb-cmts-03-3 link is already present: dhcp-1-1-2_TO_wnlb-cmts-04-4 NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-5
NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-01-1
NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-8 NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-6 NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-0 NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-03-3
link is already present: dhcp-1-1-5_TO_wnlb-cmts-02-2 link is already present: dhcp-1-1-5_TO_wnlb-cmts-04-4 NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-7
Device not found: wnlb-dhcp-1-13 IF NEED MORE INFORMATION PLEASE LET ME KNOW
Thank you
I felt later in the night that during the loading in the staging table using UNIX machine he created the new line for each line. That is why the last CMTS is not found, for this I use the UNIX 2 BACK conversion and it starts to work perfectly.
It was the dos2unix error!
Thank you all for your interest and I may learn new things, as I have almost 10 months of experience in (PLSQL, SQL)

How to load data from different tables, but record to another table?
Hi all
I use the apex and I understand how it updates and saves the files normally.
In this case, I would need to load from a table, but save on another Board on the button "submit".
I am aware that it would be easy as forms where I could do a manual insert process. im making in tabular form and I don't really know how to handle this process.
Suppose that I am loading a set of questionnaires in the form of tables and have a yes / no selection.
If the questions would come from table A and I need to save it in table B.
in this case that I can't put just the value default by the tabular row for questions coz it would be dynamic and this example is on a small scale. I would need to load the table A and record in table B.
could someone guide me on this operation or provide tutorials any?
Maybe that's what you're after.
(1) create region report using SQL like this:
Select apex_item.hidden(1,rownum).
apex_item.display_and_save(2,question_column) in Question,
apex_item. Text(3,,4,4) as answer
from table_a
apex_item documentation of package found:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35127/apex_item.htm
The pidx (first number) in each apex_item parameter is used to identify this item in the same row of the report' / tabular form.
(2) create a submit in procedure a bit like that.
Start
because I 1.apex_application.g_f01.count loop - identifies the "apex_item.hidden(1,rownum)" at the top and gets a count of how many times it occurs
Insert into table_b (question, answer)
values (apex_application.g_f02 (i), apex_application.g_f03 (i));
end loop;
end;

The use of FORMS_DDL to upadate another table
Hi all
I want to update a record in a table by using the statement of forms_ddl against a button to a form that is based on another table. I used the following to do this but no updates or error free code
occered-
COMMIT_FORM;
IF: CASE_STATUS. WRIT_OFF = 1 THEN
FORMS_DDL ('UPDATE CASE_INFO SET WRIT_OFF = 1 WHERE CASE_NO =' |: CASE_STATUS.) CASE_NO);
ON THE OTHER
FORMS_DDL ('UPDATE CASE_INFO SET WRIT_OFF = 0 WHEN CASE_NO =' |: CASE_STATUS.) CASE_NO);
END IF;
COMMIT_FORM;
What is wrong with my code. Please help me find the problem. I use form 10g.
ArifCOMMIT_FORM; IF :CASE_STATUS.WRIT_OFF=1 THEN UPDATE CASE_INFO SET WRIT_OFF=1 where CASE_NO= :CASE_STATUS.CASE_NO; ELSE UPDATE CASE_INFO SET WRIT_OFF=0 where CASE_NO=:CASE_STATUS.CASE_NO; END IF; COMMIT;
Forms_ddl builtin is used to launch the ddl through forms. No need to use it for dml.

If you can read my original post carefully you may have noticed that all these restrictions will not apply in my case.
All,
In any case I found the solution to my problem.
There are a few additional restrictions for materialized views multilayer

The following types of materialized views may not be masters of editable materialized views:

- Read-only materialized views

Redirect data to another table using before insert trigger.
Dear all,
How can I redirect the data to another table in a before Insert trigger? My database is Oracle10g.
I have a table EMP (EMP_ID, LAST_NAME, SALARY).
I have another EMP_COPY table with the same structure. I also have a before Insert trigger on the EMP table.
Based on a condition that I have to redirect the data in table EMP_COPY. Let's say the condition is EMP_ID = 100.
I fire an insert on EMP table for example INSERT IN EMP(EMP_ID,LAST_NAME,SALARY) VALUES(100,'Dev',500).
On the inside of the front Insert trigger on the EMP table, I have the code
IF EMP_ID = 100 THEN
INSERT INTO EMP_COPY (EMP_ID, LAST_NAME, SALARY)
VALUES(:NEW.) EMP_ID,: NEW. LAST_NAME,: NEW. SALARY);
COMMIT;
ON THE OTHER
NULL;
END IF;
But the problem here is that data goes to EMP table of origin also although I don't want. He should do an Insert into EMP table only if EMP_ID! = 100.
One way has been to raise a user-defined exception inside the If statement and not handle it so that the original insert on table EMP fails but INSERT comes in the EMP_COPY table. But in this solution since the inside the trigger unhandled exception, it propagates to the calling environment. And I can't stand outside relaxation as the calling environment is a form of Oracle Apps standard that cannot be customized.
Any kind of help will be highly appreciated that I am fighting for more than two weeks.
Thanks in advance

How to insert data into the table of plain text stored as a CLOB in another table
Hi people,
Maybe it's an easy question for someone who is more frequently used files and CLOB.
I have a table that stores text files in the CLOB column. Files text includes some basic data that I want to load in the other - a text line = a new insert for me. Is there a "trick" how to do it effectively?
Here is my model:
Table OS_IMPORT_DOCS, stores the complete files as CLOB
Sample data from OS_IMPORT_DOCSSQL> desc OS_IMPORT_DOCS Name Type Nullable Default Comments ------------- -------------- -------- ------- -------- OBJECT_ID NUMBER DATUM_ZMENY DATE sysdate FILE_PATH VARCHAR2(4000) Y FILE_NAME VARCHAR2(4000) Y FILE_SIZE NUMBER Y LAST_MODIFIED DATE Y DOCUMENT CLOB Y STATUS VARCHAR2(15) Y 'NEW'
Example of file CLOB - stored text data (select d.document from os_import_docs d where d.object_id = 1815042 ;)SQL> select * 2 from os_import_docs d 3 order by d.last_modified desc 4 ; OBJECT_ID DATUM_ZMENY FILE_PATH FILE_NAME FILE_SIZE LAST_MODIFIED DOCUMENT STATUS ---------- ----------- ------------------------------ --------------- ---------- ------------- ----------- --------------- 1815043 13.8.2012 1 d:\data\C120813.DAT C120813.DAT 16800 13.8.2012 16: <<CLOB>> NEW 1815042 13.8.2012 1 d:\data\C120812.DAT C120812.DAT 3600 12.8.2012 22: <<CLOB>> NEW 1815041 13.8.2012 1 d:\data\C120811.DAT C120811.DAT 1800 11.8.2012 13: <<CLOB>> NEW
Above the example text includes "columns" in plain text:061053120820120000AGT000002Osoby 0000000042301000000017210632 062322120820120000AGT000002Osoby 0000000012301000000017197566 063526120820120001AGT000002Osoby 0000000012301000000017197566 064234120820120001AGT000002Osoby 0000000103301000000162218777
timestamp - 1-14, SSMIHH24DDMMYYYY position format
flag - post 15-18
company code - position 19-27
etc...
How can I query data stored within the OS_IMPORT_DOCS. The DOCUMENT column, divide it into columns and insert into another table?
I have to read this method of 'online' file?

Import data from table in another table via datapump
Hello
I have Oracle 11 GR 2 on Windows 2008 Server R1 64-bit version.
I took a support for the export of table through data pump, the table name is sql_temp , my requirement is to import the data into another table, as sql_temp1 using the data pump even export the backup.
Is is possible? How can we achieve this through data pump?
Thank you and best regards,
Vikash Jain (Junior DBA)Not really a big problem:

problems with IE7 in the use of tables and onLoad
Thank you in advance for any help. I have a table that is used to store the names of. Files to load into another SWF. SWF video. When I call the "onLoad" method, it works in all browsers except IE7? See the example below:
prod_a = new Array;
prod_a [0] = 12; number of products in the table. Currently, this feature is not used...
prod_a [1] = "product1.swf";
prod_a [2] = "product2.swf";
prod_a [3] = "product3.swf";
prod_a [4] = "product4.swf";
prod_a [5] = "product5.swf";
onLoad = Function)
{
Description();
moveScroller();
loader_mc.loadMovie(prod_a[1]);
}
When the file opens, it loads the '2' slot flash file in the table in the "loader_mc" EXCEPT IT DO WORKS NOT IN IE 7? any ideas or help would be great! IE7 handles the different "onLoad"? I made a mistake?Thank you Sly one, but that's not the problem I currentl having a Java work around for this. I tried a few different solutions to the problem "click to activate". I found that none of them made a difference.
I resorted to a solution of 'disorder' but effective. -items I've been hainvg problems with were dynamically loading the text and images. I had the problem by placing the images and the text which was to load 'onLoad', in the boxes as _mc objects. in this way the images were already there and didn't need to be loaded.
The only two problems with this is
(A) Firefox and Safari users (including other) screen "Refresh" the image loading. and
(B) the size of the file was more than 35 KB.Thanks for the help everyone, the final is good enough for Government work...

Transpose the text column of the Oracle using ODI table
Here's what I'm trying to do:
Source table that contains the columns:
Time, Blob, Item-ID
The expected target has the columns:
Time, data, Item1, Item2. ItemN
1. where Item1, Item2 are as shown: say for example the source table has 10 rows of different IDS, there are 10 columns in the table target from Item1 to article 10. (Assuming that no. different IDs are fixed)
How to do this? I learn ODI for a few weeks now. Understand the basics and terminology, I don't know how to do this.
2 data (the target table) is a return value from a stored procedure that would transform the Blob (of the Source table)
The stored procedure is ready, but how do you use the procedure to get the target to the source.
Any help/direction would be greatly helpful.

Published by: user12397263 on December 29, 2009 23:531. a question: How do you who would determine row goes to which column? You can say that the 1st line value becomes item1, but without a rank ORDER 1 will always random. If you have a way to ensure the order of the rows (say, a column that can store the rownum) then what you need is in the interface, you specify for n - th element mapping must be MAX (Case when n = rownum then point else ' ' end). Who should take care of it.
2. There is a way to do this in ODI. Because you are a beginner, I would recommend that you create a temporary table and you use a PL/SQL block to generate data of BLOB and serve another table of the source that can update the column of data in the temporary table target table.

Hi all.
Please is - can someone provide some guidance on how to...
1. take a value from a temporary table, the match against another table that contains the first values 'equivalent' value.
2. take this exchange value, call something (using the slider or the variable?) so I can add to my API to load it into ORACLE...
Apology of this sounds confusing, I hope you know everything what I want to do...
Manythanks...
Stevenand call the API
declare v number; begin SELECT oracle_loc_code into v FROM SU_IEXP_LOCATIONS , SU_TEMPLOYEE_DETAILS WHERE chris_loc_code =location_id ; Hr_Assignment_Api.update_emp_asg_criteria (v); end;

Save and load the string table
Hello
is possible except an array of channel with multiple line of text file and load new file to table with the same size of array?
Because when I use the code in the picture, initialized array is 3 x 3 but after save and load file is table 5 x 3.
If is an option how to save this table in the file into 3 x 3 table and charge back of file as a 3 x 3 table?
Thank your for any suggestion,.
Petr
Your code is loaded in 5 x 3 is because two of your cells have newline characters (\n). The reading of the worksheet VI use return or line break characters and your delimiter to figure out how to split the string into an array.
A solution might be to replace all characters from end of line with something else, and then reinsert it after reading of the worksheet.
It can do what you want, even if it's a bit bulky. It's a little confusing if you don't understand "------" string formatting, but it essntially replaces all '\r' and '\n' with '\\r' and '\\n', including the conversion of the worksheet does not read as an end of line character.

Not how to show a part of online data in a table in another table with even no column?
I need to display the data from certain rows in a table in another table with the same numbers of columns and main table must be disabled. Could someone advice how to do this? Data in the table are from the microprocessor and is intended the user can see and edit only some data.
If someone can show me some advice, it will be a great help.
Kind regards
Annemariehoeven
Disable a table: SetInputMode (panelHandle, controlID, 0); ('1' to re - activate).
Hide a table: SetCtrlAttribute (panelHandle, controlID, ATTR_VISIBLE, 0); ('1' to show it again).
These commands are valid for each type of control.
To extract values from the table, you can just use GetTableCellVal or GetTableCellRangeVals: If the range of cells has the same data type, you can use the second command which is faster; If the cells are different (for example digital and channels) you must solve each of them individually. The use of the Clipboard doesn't have this limitation.
