  • is the flash uninstall program uninstalls all versions of Flash player?

Hi all, I noticed that when I installed a new version of Flash Player, version stays and can be seen in programs and features.

my main question is: because the available on Adobe.com Flash uninstaller uninstalls all versions of Flash, so Flash cleaning entirely from the system?

    a few side issues:

-can I use any old Flash uninstaller to uninstall my current Flash?

-Why the new auto Flash does not uninstall the old Flash during successful installation?

    It's complicated.

Flash Player is a built-in component of Microsoft Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and higher and on Google Chrome.  Run the uninstall program removes these, because they are not under our control.

For the other browser plug-ins, run the uninstall program should clean them.

Updates to Flash Player replace installed Flash Player.  We ship on a monthly basis, leaving each old version installed on your machine would be pretty silly after a very short time.  Each release also includes important security fixes, if you always want to be browsing the web with the latest version of Flash Player.

  • Why can't I access the download link for the version of Flash Player newer?

So, I want to update my Adobe Flash Player...

If I go to Adobe.com and go to download > Adobe Flash Player I sent to http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=JZEFT

So, if I click on 'Install now' (also my anti-virus accepts software installations) I'm just headed to Adobe.com

It's an infinite loop and no matter where I look for a replacement downloads I get sent to the same place with the button 'Install now', yet once go to Adobe.com

I am currently running (most recent) Mac OSX 10.8.5, 25.0.1 (most recent) Firefox and Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.117.

How to do a 'clean' Flash Player installation in Mac OS X

Yes, I does not address the issue.

This page has instructions to download the Installer 'offline,' that bypasses the normal installer/downloader. It won't redirect to anywhere because there is NO connection in it software.

The last Kindle Fire HD is not officially supported by Flash Player.  Please see this page for a list of all certified devices:

  • Flash Player Download - FREE VERSION of VIRUS

I'm trying to reinstall Adobe Flash Player for Firefox and IE 11. The download page is here and the program rises, but it took an hour for the program to download only to fail. After that, I tried again later and got the program to download, but could not install because it was a VIRUS that NORTON found. No matter what download/links page I visit, the same version of Flash Player VIRUS starts to download. Anyway around this way I can install a version of Flash Player for my browsers?

Do not believe everything that said Norton...

In any case, it is always easier to use offline installers

  • I downloaded the latest version of flash player, does not?

I just got my computer back to be fixed and I'm redownloading everything I need.

I have a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 and I downloaded the latest version of flash player for it. It seems to be installed because there is a window opens saying "Thank you, enjoy flash player." or something like that after I downloaded the flash player.

I tried several times and I STILL can't watch videos or doing things that require flash player.

I went to my preferences system, clicked on Flash Player and went to the progress bar, and he says "plug-in version 11.9.900.117 is installed."

However, when I go to this page: http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player.html

And I click the "check now" button to see if flash player has been installed on my computer, it says:

"Sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled.

Please proceed to step 2. »

And so I did and downloaded AGAIN. I saw the same thing once I reloaded the page and try again.

I don't have an anti-virus program, so it can't be that.

    The flash player is enabled?

How can I check if it has activated activate / it?

It is usually in the Tools section of your browser.

  • Download and install the most recent version, but still get error - "requires the latest version of flash player.

I get a message that something does not work because the latest version of flash player must be installed.  I go through the download and install Flash player, but still not the message.  After installation, I never get the configuration steps.  I tried to uninstall what ever version of flash player is on my computer before the download and install, but it does not help.

I also tried to remove Adobe photoshop Elements 9 and Adobe first Elements 9 but I couldn't make it work. I get a message that "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed."

Removed phone numbers that I am assuming that you do not want this posted on a public forum.

You can try going through the steps in the two faq from below.  In addition, where you can go to the Version of the Flash Player page and see the animation and flash player version number displayed?

  • Distribution of the Flash Player downloads page lists wrong version 11.4.402.278 (really 11.4.402.267)

FYI, the page Flash Player Distribution downloads (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html) lists the wrong version 11.4.402.278 (really 11.4.402.267) in the header. I downloaded the Plugin and ActiveX. File MSI for Windows, listed under Flash Player 11.4.402.278. During the edition of each. MSI in Orca, it lists the ProductVersion as 11.4.402.267. And, indeed, after install two appwiz.cpl watch versions of ProductName = Adobe Flash Player ActiveX 11 and ProductName = Adobe Flash Player 11 Plugin as 11.4.402.267.

This is a bug with the version string of the MSI package.  The active control x from Flash Player to the actual address displays the correct version (11.4.402.278).  Our internal bug for this issue number is 3333545 and we hope that this will be fixed in the next version.  I also posted about this here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4711264#4711264

  • Install the latest version of Flash Player for internet Explorer, I stopped at the end with the message "User does not have sufficient privileges to install"

I stopped at the end of the installation of Flash Player for Internet Explorer with the message "User lacks sufficient privileges to install" despite having Flash Player installed because I bought my computer. My internet Explorer browser will now display the videos saying that I have the latest version of Flash Player. Videos had previously shown fine on Int.Explorer over 5 years and see the normally on Flash Player using Google Chrome.

    Hi James Goldberg,.

I recommend you install it using your administrator account on your system or right-click on the configuration file and choose "Run as Administrator".

Hope that helps, please let me know if you face any problem.

    Kind regards

  • Download of the latest version of Flash player stops at 30%. No help available?

    OS X 10.10.2

    Safari 8.0.3

Version of flash player installed: 16.0.0.296

Download of the installation file "AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_16_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg" done without any problem

After you have double clicked on the Setup icon, the download starts but stops at 30%.

    No change in two hours.

I tried to stop the installation, but it was impossible.

The Setup icon remains in the dock, impossible to quit smoking.

It prevents me to restart my computer.

I made a stop manual and tried again, from scratch (dmg file download and so on)

    Same deadlock situation.

This problem has never occurred before.

I'm not a specialist, just a real user.

I had the same problem and I uninstalled it from my preferences.  Then, I found a link in this forum to use.  Try this:

  • Flash Builder 4.5 unable to find the debug version of Flash Player.

I'm running into the following error message:

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll

Flash Builder cannot locate the required Adobe Flash player debug version. You should perhaps install the debug version of Flash Player or reinstall Flash Builder.

You want to try to debug using the current version?

I already went to the binding dialog box provided to download Flash Player debug builds.  I installed the Plugin and AX versions of the debugger.  Reboot all browsers, Flash Builder and restarted the PC for good measure.  I spent a good amount of time looking for information on this issue.  All the threads I found who were related to this issue was to present one must be achievable.  So I'm starting a thread on this problem.

I'm running Flash Builder 4.5 on Windows Vista 32-bit.  I tried to use 3.6.24 FireFox and IE 8.0.6001.

I started with the trial version and then purchased the license online.  I do not know if that has an impact.

All the information to diagnose this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi emat3d,

Try to uninstall Flash Player with this uninstaller from Adobe, please make sure that you close all applications that may be using Flash Player. Then try again to install your Flash Player debugger. He has solved it for me.

  • Manager tab Firefox Add0ns is incorrectly identify my version of Flash Player installed.

Firefox calls being installed and up-to-date Flash Player 16.0.0.235. Windows 7 calls the ongoing installation of Flash Player 16.0.0.305.

You seem to have two different Plugins Flash installed for Firefox.

    Shockwave Flash 17.0 r0
    Shockwave Flash 16.0 r0

Also, don't forget that [ActiveX], Firefox IE Chrome [pepper] and [Plugin] use separate versions of Flash. We need to look the version listed in the "Installed programs" to correct for the web browser you use.

Take the uninstall program Adobe from here:
    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Windows.html

Then download the versions of Flash you need for Firefox and IE here:
    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Run the Adobe Flash uninstall program, and then restart your operating system. To remove completely all versions of Flash.

Then install the latest versions of Flash. Restart your PC when finished.
