Do you mean that IE becomes so callous. If so it might be an indication that any fault is it is not Firefox itself.

When I'm on the site and click on fill out a form, a message came that I didn't have the right version of my browser, so I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, and then restarted the computer and is returned to the site to try again and got the same message. Then I had two shortcut icons on my desktop and I can't say that one is for the latest version of Firefox.

You can install the version of Firefox Portable for use only on this site and use your current version of Firefox for all the rest. Firefox Portable is not produced by Mozilla (but it is based on the versions of Firefox released) and only is not supported on this site - has its own support forum (see below). Firefox Portable installs in a separate folder on your hard disk so that it does not interfere with your currently installed version configuration Firefox or personal information (bookmarks, passwords, etc.). I have to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox?
Do I lot to the latest version of Firefox? I get a message that says that the version I use is not secure. See the troubleshooting information. I already asked this question, but got this message: thank you! Your question will appear on the site as soon as you confirm your email address. You should receive an email shortly with a link to confirm. This is the link I was taken in. Thanks for your help!
Yes, you really need to upgrade to the latest version if you want safety last corrections to be applied. Now, more secure versions (supported by Mozilla) are 6.0.2 and 3.6.22.
If you use 4.0, 4.0.1 5.0 or 5.0.1 you should immediately upgrade to 6 (recommended) or downgrade to 3.6.22. These versions have security problems and is more supported by the Mozilla security patches. People who use these versions are open to attacks.

When the latest version of Firefox has been installed it gave me a message that the McAfee software was not compatible and so I have more protection against viruses. She added that when it became compatible I would be informed. I cannot afford to be without my virus protection and want to revert to an earlier version of Firefox.
I hope that the problem is that Firefox 5 is not compatible with some of the additional modules of McAfee. It will be rather worrying if she has a problem with McAfee security programs themselves. Please specify exactly what software and the version that you have problems with.
There are problems with McAfee Site Advisor /questions/839953 #answer - 205178 known but we hope McAfee that will resolve in a few weeks.

I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, but I always get a message on my home page that says "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! »
You can see this message under the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old default Firefox homepage. It seems that this page is no longer maintained by Google. You seem to have the latest version of Firefox.
If you want as the Google search page as homepage, change your homepage to Subject: House (a new version of the old homepage Google/Firefox update is now integrated into Firefox).

After installation of the latest version of firefox and I use the new icon on my desktop, it always says that I don't have the latest version. Installation will correctly
It - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Page to start Firefox used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I do not think that it is maintained by Google.
From version Firefox 4, Firefox uses a 'local' with the address Start Page of Subject: House. It looks like the old start Page, but this isn't exactly the same thing.
