  There is no media extensions in a TC... Apple designed the ipod to read directly from a library... you need a Mac or PC running iTunes for this to work... the library can live on the TC... but you still need a computer that is running.

  We do not know this as you've read, or have tried, but if you have not already changed the settings in Time Machine preferences to indicate your Mac how to locate your Time Capsule on your 'new' network... now would be a good time to do that.

  I think you probably mean "extend a wireless network".

  This is the bad setting... because it would be used only if the time Capsule connected to your network using Wireless.  You specify the Time Capsule connects using Ethernet.

  Here is what is happening now... the time Capsule waiting for a wireless connection, but he gets an Ethernet connection.  This translates into a huge feedback loop that effectively blocks your network.

  The correct setting for the time Capsule would be "create a wireless network"using the same exact wireless network name, security and password as other Apple routers. " Finally, make sure that the time Capsule is set to run in Bridge Mode before you click Update to save the new settings.

I used to have 2 PC Intel & had no trouble to install the clone of the previous location every time we moved. This allowed me to continue what I was doing in front of the place instantly. 2 years ago one of the older Intel PC becomes unusable & I bought a desire C 700-147 with Costco AMD processor & I'm very happy with it. Unfortunately, it is not clone is compatible with my Intel in New York because they are different platforms.  I decided to replace the Intel pc with a pc HP so that the boot floppies are compatible. My question concerns the problems of compatibility.

  1. is my desire C 700-147 (chip AMD) clone with a WANT H8-1450 Desktop PC AMD FX-6120 compatible?
  2. the two computers must be of the same manufacturer as CPU (Intel, AMD)?

  3 both is the same size of the address, I.E. 64 or 32-bit?

  Any advice or insight on this popular issue.

  For the record: I have 2 windows 8.1 licenses.

  I had similar thoughts about the possibility. However, I have the experience of successflly cloning based Intel 2 pcs purchased 2-3 years & were not identical, I.e. the processors & chipsets are certainly different, & that worked. However, if I buy a 2nd pc & it does not I'll be on a bit of money for nothing & I don't know until I get back to New York. Your message instilled enough doubt think I wll go to plan B. Forget cloning available & $ for a new pc. I'll take the pc back to NY & use Acronis universal boot to make a picture of HP on Intel. At least I can take my time to do & I'll put a little money. I hope this works.

  I started out our VDI in public which is used by our students, I noticed the majority of our students, they are not logoff session and they just disconnect the session. It is management overhead for the helpdesk guys visit the disconnecting Desktop Group and forcibility all unplugged session of the Group of students.

  Is there a way I can auto disconnect all disconnected sessions who spent 15/30 minutes?

  -Locate the "Time limit for disconnected sessions" setting enable this policy setting

  -In the drop-down list, select the time limit for disconnected sessions

  If you enable this policy setting, disconnected sessions are deleted from the server after the specified time interval. To apply the default behavior for disconnected sessions are maintained for an unlimited time, select never. If you have a console session, the disconnected session time limits do not apply.

  I was doing some games online about 3 there are nights where I'm disconnected from the internet (not unusual while making online games). However, after restarting my modem to get online a window pops up asking me to choose a network (home, work, Public) location. I've never had this happen before.   In the router/MODEM orange light indicates that the there is a difficulty to transfer packets in the network. It might as well be the reason why you are faced with slow speeds. Try to reset the router/MODEM and see if that helps.

  What type of internet connection do you use?

  Try to reload the drivers of wireless network card.

  Uninstall and reinstall the network adapter drivers. Follow the steps mentioned below to do so.

  Click Start > right click on computer > Manage > Device Manager > Expand network adapter > right click on the wireless adapter option > click on uninstall > now go to your computer/wireless device manufacturer's website, download the updated drivers and install them.
