Original title: manual update of Windows malicious software removal tool sends file in a different folder every time I install and is inaccessible

I installed MRT repeatedly automatically and it keeps asking me to install.  I did it manually and it would be installed in a different folder on my other drive to a different location each time.  Here are two of them only starting today.                e:\be6123f9a9f687a86b13dca0939d0bc and e:\7321902026cdc0af0d9d93be

    Hi Ben Dean,

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file.

To run the System File Checker, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.

    2. in the area of results, right-click cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator. You will be asked to type the password for an administrator account. If you are the administrator or type the administrator password, click on continue. Then click on continue.

    3. at the command prompt, type Sfc/scannow, and then press ENTER.

I tried to download Windows 7 Professional. But I don't know how to download correctly. We offer time-limited from Microsoft. Now, I'm not going to school, so my school can not help me with the download of related issues.

I have this file-(EN_WINDOWS_7_PROFESSIONAL_X64_dvd_x15 - 65805.iso) recorded on in the Temp folder on the C drive of my computer. But I don't know what the right file? Should I burn to DVD? File size is 41.4 MB.

Can someone help me with this? If this is the right file? If so, then can I've burn it to DVD and save it for later installation on my computer?

    Prompt response will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

By its name, it is the image ISO of the DVD Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (English language).

Depending on the size, (41.4 MB according to you), it is incomplete by many and of no use.

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:

What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

  • Windows 7: watch one a presentation of the file instead of libraries folder

I appreciate the library system indexed records of files grouped on Windows 7, but I don't want to use it.

I want to use the production scheme that I am familiar with Windows XP - that is, from the general classification of the computer, then the subcategories with subordinate files, then each subcategory with its own list of subordinate files and so on — a 'dendritic pattern"(branching like a tree).  The reason is that the content of a large number of my files is similar, but for commercial reasons, I know exactly where it is filed or folder in which it comes.

How can I load Windows 7 to always show me a presentation of index file as XP instead of libraries folder?

    Hi WildSurmise,
This is normal. You have the tree on the left side of the Windows Explorer, just below the libraries directory structure which is an alternative for Windows XP.
You may need to get a third party software by using your favorite search engine of the means to disable libraries and the icon with a 3rd party Web site reg file.

However, since it has not been tested by Microsoft, I don't know what it does or what it looks like.

    WARNING OF THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE
Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Where this fails, you may need to run the system restore.

You can also use a system image to restore the contents of your computer if your hard disk or an entire computer ever stops working.
