  For added convenience, app Notifications have a setting that allows them to be seen and interacted with on your lock screen. It is a setting entirely optional and can be disabled for individual applications under settings > Notifications. Tap the application that you want to adjust (in your case, Messages) and toggle the "Show on lock screen" switch in the off position. You can still receive alert sounds when a message arrives through to be notified, you have received one, but it will not appear on your lock screen. To view, unlock your iPhone and go directly to the Messages app.

  It seems that your reminders are not visible on your screen once it reminds you of your tasks after upgrade to IOS 10.   You can not. However, I'm not sure why you think it's a privacy or security threat. The only thing that can be accessed without unlocking the phone is the camera to take pictures. No one can access your data already on the phone.

  I see that since you have upgraded to iOS 10, Siri starts each time you try to unlock your iPhone and Siri on the lock screen is disabled in the settings.   Try using one different finger other than a finger that you added to unlock your iPhone in "settings > Touch ID & password."

  Otherwise, disable Touch ID and try to reproduce the problem with access to the camera in the lockscreen, then your library.
