  If the connection fails, I need to display the error message somewhere else.
  I have my own 'information bar' to display the warning/error/success messages in the application.
  So I have to catch this error of connection and display them in my 'information bar' using a specific format ("' HH24:MI:SS: the error message string" ").
  
  I see that it is currently using #NOTIFICATION_MESSAGE # in the model.
  
  So, how can I catch the error and show it where I need to use #NOTIFICATION_MESSAGE instead #?

  Yes, it still shows in #NOTIFICATION_MESSAGE #.
  And you can delete #NOTIFICATION_MESSAGE # your login page template substitution string if you do not use.

• The Oracle Applications login page throws an error message in R12

  Below, I see the error in the browser, when I try to access any Oracle Applications.

  In IE8

  "Could not generate the redirect URL. Exception: oracle.apps.fnd.common.AppsException: oracle.apps.fnd.common.PoolException: Exception creating object that can be aggregated. »

  In Firefox

  " 500 internal Server Error

  The DB and Applications are on different nodes.

  We are seeing this problem after encryption earpiece on the side DB is after the addition of some settings in the file 'sqlnet.ora', the problem is solved after the restoration of the old configuration (sqlnet.ora), but we would like to have this encryption on the side DB. If this is the case how?

• Error Page protection violation in APEX 4.2.2 - Login Page

  Hi all

  I have an internal application (application extremely personalized ;-)) that uses dynamic action to connect to the apex without loading the login page.

  However after ungrading to 3.2.1 I found out how that this 'approach' is now met with the famous "Error Page Protection".

  I disabled all the protections of session state and everything. I have a check_sum on the page.

  What I need is to completely disable these controls. This SUMMIT only for a small group working within an intranet, but we want to make it accessible to other employees?

  I read about the error and nothing seems to relate to my question. The error is on the login page. This happens when I submit a full url to the login page of my application.

  I understand that this is to protect applications, but I insist own hacking my own APEX application. I don't want to manipulate the elements on my page!

  Can someone advise how to CANCEL this protective function.

  If you create a request of wwv_flow.accept of the desktop application on page 101 of your APEX application. As you probably know, passing the credentials in the URL is not safe, but let's ignore that for now, because the point is to hack your own app, as you mentioned above :-) How about this:

  1 generate a normal f? p application, e.g., f? p = 12345:101:0:P101_USERNAME, P101_PASSWORD:JanS, JanSPassword

  2. on your login page, add a front page header junction accept, with the goal of page 101 and request LOGIN

  3. Add a condition to this branch, so APEX uses only if P101_PASSWORD is not null

• [Help needed] Several errors in X 40 with ADF security with or without custom login page

  OTN greetings community, I'm sorry to bother you again, but I need help again once, links to the relevant files (pastebin and imgur) are on the bottom of the post in the meantime ill try to explain my situation.

  I use version 11.1.1.7.0 for JDeveloper with (I assume) updates all of the current side.

  In my efforts to learn more about ADF, I had finished the Apps to build with ADF I guide I produce a 'simple' application to manage contacts, companies and their places of activity.

  With all my functions done and tested semi (small scale) I went ahead and and tried implement security.

  So, with the help of Andrejus Baranovskis Entry of Blog (have been using his blog as a source of information, has contributed to many situations, especially related bean) and fireboxtraining (Part1 and Part2) youtube videos, I have 2 pages, a Login Page (a dispatcher Panel 1 facet has only text showing the user names and passwords connection and the 2nd input text facet 2 related to the bean requesting the user name and Word 3rd password a button that calls the doLogin method) and an error page displays just the text.

  So after you have enabled security, create 2 users, create 2 roles of the company, creating application roles 2 and associating all 2 grants of right one to each role app giving privilege to see on the pages I want, I developed (my goal is that in the homepage, using a mixer according to user's role would display a region that all data can be changed or another that all data is read-only but I don't that have not yet implemented).

  So I went on the test page and unfortunately I hit the 1st wall would not display the login page (seemed to be always be update a blank page in firefox) so I checked if the pages are in the anonymous role and they were. So, as I saw in the video I deleted the page definition files in the Databindings.cpx file and I am past the 1st obstacle has shown the login page. So I typed the username and passwords and I hit my second wall (error 404 - Not found), I saw the code, debugged it and found that he wouldn't be able to hang or something like that (forgive me for my brutal inexperience) then I disabled the security and reactivated with pages of default form, and when it prompted me to type the user name and password I had hit my 3rd and last wall (error 401 - no allowed) which we I didn't wait, I went in the jazn-"Data.xml" and looked if the grants/permissions/roles were ok, in my inexperience, I don't find any problem, so beat I come here to seek support.

  I HAV checked the $COMMON_TOP/admin, but there's no scripts folder

  Sorry its my error, we must look at $INST_TOP (I've already updated my previous post) in r12 associated scripts in $ path INST_TOP/admin/scripts.

  As I mention above I am able to start the instance as user applmgr but not able to stop like applmgr but it is possible only as a root user

  When I try to stop it as appsuser I get the following error

  I think you started the application services last time, so all changes since then?

  Please, stop all the services application, check the OS that no active process still exist and remove the locking file according to the following document.

  Note: 555214.1 - Oacore process does not start after having increased their number in Oracle Applications version 12 in Context.xml

  I tried to restart the middle tier services but he couldn't solve the problem. The firewall on a Linux machine (where is installed the r12) has been stopped and I am able to connect to sql plus windows client.

• 11i Login page shows 'Error on Page' when you use IE 7

  I use Oracle 11.5.10.2 with DB 10.2.0.4 (Single Instance). EBS is on RUP6 and using the JDK 1.6.0_12.
  I'm using Firefox and not getting not any question. I used the first time IE-7 (7.0.5x) to access the application. I noticed that by pressing the button "Login" on the Login Page, it has been said in the bottom left of the EI says "Error on page" and was not navigate to any page or did not perform any action.
  
  I checked all services and everything was OK. When you use Firefox, I was able to navigate through the application without any problem.
  
  Using IE 7, I am able to access

  Most of the stuff seems to work fine when recording using above URLS, but 'GO' buttons throwing same error in IE "error on page". Rest of the Bottons as "Browser Edit", "Edit Favorites" are working very well, but when I push the button 'Go' then IE error display on any Page. It seems to me that when the need for a button navigate to the next page then IE saying 'Error on page' but when a button do lunch a new page it works fine.
  
  All responsibilities and links work properly. Navigation application using Firefox works quite well.

• Host PayPal and EBay loading OK, but during the registration/login page is selected this page open as text based GUI. No error message is given.

  For the past month tried to solve a recurring problem with EBay & PayPal login pages. My PC is a near new as is the operating system, Win7 64-bit Home Premium edition. The 1st problem took place approximately 6 months with my previous PC and Win XP Pro, but it disappeared after a few days and Firefox updated. This problem does not occur with IE 8

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

  • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

  Hiya', people!

  Well, I did some research to find answers before deciding to ask my question - just to put it out there. Found a few things that seemed on the surface to be bound, but then, as I read the posts, determined that they were not. I therefore ask my own question:

  I have several websites that I cannot log in to Firefox, but CAN connect perfectly fine in other browsers. (As a web designer, I have all the major browsers installed on my system.) For example, the login page for my Craig list goes directly to their "404" page My College's statistical information system login goes directly to their "403 - Forbidden" page (note the difference returned error). A couple of others, as well. NONE of these pages are my favorites.

  I tried "power refresh" each page (Ctrl + F5). No dice.
  I tried to delete my history and cookies. No dice.
  I tried to remove it completely with iObit uninstaller of Firefox (but has NOT removed the my profile folder because I wasn't ready to do it again) and then re-install. No dice.
  I tried to disable all add-ons, plug-ins and extensions. No dice.
  I tried to delete the file "cookies.sqlite" (but could not find a file ' cookies.sqlite - journal ", as described in the troubleshooting section). No dice.

  So... until I delete my profile folder, shred Firefox completely from my computer and go to a new installation, any ideas? If this is not the case, in my history or cookies - or in the file cookies.sqlite - WHERE on my system these cached pages and WHY are they not allow me to access it through Firefox?

• Login Page dead with Chrome - Edge work

  If I try to log on to 192.168.1.1 with Chrome, I get

  192.168.1.1 refused to connect.

  However, if I reboot the router and use Edge, I am able to connect. If I try Chrome, I get the above error and edge cannot connect anymore. I have to restart the router to regain access to the login page. Once it is restarted, I can only use Edge to access. Once I use Chrome, he kills the access.

  Someone knows how to fix this? Seems that Chrome is causing a problem.

  I finally understood the problem. It turns out that I had a HotSpot Shield on Chrome add-on. When I connect to the router using Chrome first, the add-on is probably something causing the router to block all traffic on 192.168.1.1. I uninstalled the add-on, restart the router, and now everything is fine.
