  I discovered that prevented a few images to display in IE 11, while other images show. The culprit was Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer. Once, I disabled the software Adblock Plus missing images showed once again. Interestingly, I discovered that I could cause the same effect in other browsers using Adblock software. There is either a bug in the software of Adblock, or fluid network of Adobe system, which caused some legitimate images should be blocked. Whatever it is, they do not play well together right now. All images are stored on the same domain, and none of them related off site, so it's pretty weird that they have been blocked...

  Anyway, the mystery is solved! I know people like to see a conclusion to these things as much as possible, so I'll mark this as resolved issue.

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

• As a web designer, I've used menus xara on a number of sites and they looked fine until this that Firefox 7; now the menus have shifted to the left. Can you tell me a workaround solution? The menus are very well in other browsers. THX.

  Some of these sites have used xara menus (which are based on javascript) for years without problems. Because I used Firefox as my browser by default since its first release, so I would have recognized the problem immediately if it was before version 7. Also, I run Firefox on my iMac with Lion; I don't know if the problem of menu-shift is also seen on the Windows machine with the new version of the browser.   Please provide the exact point of the software & OS installed on your system. Also check if it is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check updates.

  You can check after connecting this scanner locally to the system if asked its connected on network & then look for the same thing.

• I put a home page for the start, works very well. But when I click on "Home", an old start page loads.

  I found I have the ability to enable and disable certain features (Java, images, etc.) to help add on the toolbar of the image and we somehow got disabled so I have allowed and voila, FIXED. Add it on the toolbar can be found by view, and then click Add on the bar, if you do not see it on the bottom of your screen.
