  I help develop a page for one of our courses at our school.  Is it possible that when you create a login form and authenticate on a new page that the user name also get sent to a recordset so that it can be used to fill hidden fields, to other forms on the new page?

  Yes. If you use the built in the behavior of connection DW, DW will put the user name in a session variable. Look carefully in the login code to see what we call this variable. If you use ASP this session variable is called MM_Username. In PHP, there is an equivalent, but I don't remember now how it's called. If the page with the recordset is to display only the data that user, filter the recordset on the username column by using the Session variable setting and enter the name of the session variable in the text box.

  With the help of my Macbook Pro I did accidentally Ask.com my search page when I opened Firefox last week. I wanted to restore to my original logon page.   I use Windows Vista for about 3 years now, it has been hurt on the first day.  However, it is the biggest problem I've ever known.

  My PC is currently the entire installation, which means that all the software, drivers and personal settings are applied to the way I would like it. But lately, I have had opportunities indicate that loggin, there was a long delay, after typing my password with the message: "preparing your desktop" displayed on the login screen (the PC was night shotdown, not having changed anything to the system), then I am connected to a desktop where I lost all my custom settings : wallpapers, plans, location of the updated table on the page icon, were all gone as if I start Windows for the first time, and every program I tried to run from there thought while they started upward for the first time.

  My office, I know, has completely disappeared.   How can I get it back?  Where at - it go?

  I am a school teacher and my student missions, etc. are in the files on the desktop.

  I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

• Microsoft FixIt fails with the error 0x80004005 when run in the Standard user login

• OEBS 12.1.3 purchase request for approval Notification - SOUL with the help of approvals.

  1. We discovered that the version of the SOUL of this notification is generated via a framework of OA.
  2. We have a requirement for the company to add details of the additional topics to the part of the notification.  These fields are not standard for objects of view OA executives Business so an extension of necessary view.
  3. With the help of this and other sites, I was able to extend the view object in the favorite jDeveloper IDE and transfer it to my development OEBS instance.
  4. I see my view extended on the OFA Page, when you look at the content of 'About' from the page.

  My problem is when I try to 'Customize' and add a column of extended view, errors Page OAF that I am trying to come back since the customization session.

  I joined "Personalization_Error_when_adding_new_column_from_OA_Extended_view_object.docx" detailing what I try to run.

  Support of Oracle said that extension of the view OFA is considered a "customization" and that he does not want to help.

  Can anyone advise on what I should look at to solve this error?

  The View attribute is referred to as "LAST_UPDATE_DATE". If this is what we call in the SQL query, the attribute of the view object might be different like "LastUpdateDate". Please check back in the XXVO.xml.

  If that has not solved the problem, its running diagnostics by activating the option FND:Diagnostics profile. Then you will get the link 'click here' link on the error page to get the error stack. You can stick the stack of error here.

• Dynamic action for validation of date with the notification message plugin

  Hi all

  Someone help me please with dynamic action for validation of date with the message notification plugin. I have a form with two elements of the date picker control and message notification plugin.

  The requirement first user selects the exam is finished and then selects the date. So, if the date is greater than the date of the examination is over + 2 years then doesn't trigger the message notification plugin. I tried to create that dynamic action on the date picker date that triggers the scheduled issue notification message but I want to make conditional, I mean displays the message only if date of the selected is greater than the date of the exam is finished more than 2 years.

  In terms simple, notification is displayed only if provided is superior to (date of the exam is completed + 2 years).

  I use oracle apex 4.0 version and oracle 10g r2 database. I tried to reproduce the same requirement in my personal workspace. Here are the details. Please take a look.

• Problem with the Login user and scroll form

  Hi all, I have a problem with the form for the user to login to my page.

  There is a connection user transaction and the cursor automatically appears in the tefxfield of connection, which causes the page to scroll automatically, so the banner is completely displayed.

  Hi, I am using the file browser to load the file, but has the HTTP 404 - File not found error. Of my application authentication schemes is the database (user identified by DAD)...

  Normally the F11 key will pass you to the normal display mode (or in the display full-screen function of the current screen). Does it work?
