Looking for video recommendation card

Hi all. I have a 1-year-old desktop computer Pavilion Elite e9300z. The configurable options are visible here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02006572

My bases:

Processor: Athlon II X 4 620 processor clocked at 2.6 GHZ

RAM: 8 GB

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD4350 with 512 MB of RAM and VGA and DVI ports

Power supply: 350 watts

What I want to do: I currently have a HP L1906 19 '' LCD VGA monitor. I work from home. My boss wants to add me as a second monitor a wall 42 '' HDTV to view plans. PDF format. He suggested that updating my video card to one that has a HDMI port, 1 GB of memory and a cooling fan before you add the TV as a second monitor. He said he wants me to be able to work as fast as my brain won't let me and not as fast as my computer doesn't let me and it feels like my current video card will restrict me.  I think that my 350 Watt power supply will limit my options.

Someone at - it recommendations for a card with HDMI and VGA, 1 GB RAM w/fan that will work reliably with my diet?

Thank you.

This card EVGA Newegg should do the trick. The manufacturer indicates that he takes a minimum of 300 Watt power supply. Your PC has a power SUPPLY 350 W PSU.

Personally, I would upgrade the PSU to a Corsair Builder Series CX430 430W power™ to ensure stability and future scalability. This power supply is actually not that expensive for a upgrade of high quality.

  • HP Pavilion p7-1534: looking for a graphics card

    Hello

I had trouble finding a graphics card for my desktop PC, because I have not yet installed. I bought a few steam games which does not really require much to run like today's games. Although I always have trouble trying to run my games decently. My goal is to run my games to a good 60 frames per second. A game in my library that is very difficult to run is on salary 2. Here is the form to recommend to run it (http://store.steampowered.com/app/218620/). It would be fun if I could run this game in high resolution 60 frames per second. My power is 300w and my monitor goes up to 1980 x 1080 p, so I'm not looking for everything that will lose its power. My budget is $ 80, but I would really like that it if you could find it cheaper. If I need to change my diet (which I do not want to do) the Please tell me if this is a must.

-PS If you need me more, please state it.

    Thank you for your time,

    -Tyrone Morgan

    @TyroneMorgan, welcome to the forum.

Here is a video card that should work for you.  The specs show that it requires a power of 300W or greater.  I suggest you read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.  If you have any other questions, please contact EVGA Tech Support (1-888-881-3842).  They were always extremely useful.

Please click on the button + Thumbs up if I helped you and click on accept as Solution If your problem is resolved.

  • Looking for HDD recommendation

I have a Macbook late 2007 and its HARD disk is dead. I'm looking for help with if you guys can suggest me a brand of HARD drive I can use on the inside. I saw ifixit.com and she a Toshiba 500 GB 2.5 MQ01ABF050. Hard drives as recommended. Is there another model?

I've seen a few different brand of Toshiba drive HARD internal as MQ01ABD050, would that work?

    Help, please.

This depends on how much storage you need.  You can spend with a HARD drive classic if you need a lot of storage up to 1 TB, or if you want you can go with an SSD of speed. You can get a HARD drive of 1 TB for what it can cost to buy a 250 GB SSD.  You can get the SSD more great but costs as much as your computer is interesting.

If you are interested in an SSD is a good starting point: https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ssd/owc you do not have to buy from them, but it will tell you everything that is involved with the installation of an SSD.

For a HARD disk, I went with a Hitachi model in my MacBook.  I read reviews of web on sites like Amazon when purchasing technology (keeping in mind the people who do not have problems with a model are less likely to view only those who do and deserves to be done reading the negative comments to see if their complaint is justified), so any model will have some negative reviews.  For portable players with the ability, I wanted THAT HGST seemed to have the best odds.

If you go for a HARD drive one other thing to consider is the rotation speed. Your old computer has a drive 5400 RPM in there. This consumes less energy and work more cost but, making it slower.  If you do not have to be also considering the battery life or temperature, you could install a 7200 RPM drive.

  • any ideas on how to emulate this look (intentionally badly looking for video)?

so, I do a very short sequence right now, and I thought it would be quite interesting to have this short sequence have the same characteristics of the video quality from the beginning of the 1990s old Sega CD based games FMV (for example, I downloaded a clip here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/ro17qv ). and there is a little more than a technological explanation here ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FMV_game#Description ) in the 3rd paragraph. reading by ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_cd#Reception ) it seems that the video quality are perhaps better, natively on the disc, but the system itself could not interpret that makes the quality of the video. (I was always a few assuned artifacts of compression to cram a full movement on a 500 MB cd-rom Disc... owner but game that still may have something to do with her 90-minute) or maybe they have just the video encoded like that, knowing that the console could not do anyway, and being more aware of budgeting in the ILO.

so anyway is really imitate this look? I tried encodeing a simple mpeg 1 Mbit/s, but he just made more pixelated... didn't quite give it the factor, dithering charecterisic grain (what I was looking to see if there was only a single color dithering filter where I could limit the sega cd color threshold, but not luck on my part) , nore the colors washed out I was looking for. I tried to add a little noise... but then that was just random. where, as in the games, the grain was more stagnate. (that is to say, the camera can pan, but you could still see the grain at the same exact spot on the screen)

or is it just something that was inherent to the hardware store and no real way to imitate him completely without such material?

I would have experimented posterize time to get the look of the bass-cadence; seems that more games, CD-ROM and video had frame rates of about 10 to 12 frames per second. Posterize time will allow you to do this quite easily.

Instead of noise, try mosaic with a County block sent relatively high. Posterize to create the color banding. You may need to experiment with the order of effects and also the level to which they are applied. Effect of correction of color as the last step would be necessary to get the desaturation that you are probably looking for.

Another way of packing would export your sequence using Microsoft AVI format with Microsoft video 1 or Microsoft RLE as your codec. For MS video 1, click the Codec settings and turn down the "time value" a bit and for the two codecs, decrease the quality slider. Set your pace of export for something that is 1/2 to 1/3 of your rate of original sequence. This should create a nice file schmeggy watching again, mix and match to get your desired, look but this is perhaps the best way to do it - these videos would have used codecs like this (Cinepak was popular, too).

  • Looking for video effects

    Hi all:

I'm relatively new to Adobe Premiere CS4 (even if I have experience working with digital video). He seemed to have gathered the controls for first itself but what seems to be lacking in my understanding is how to create some visual effects with it. I'm looking to create a video clip with effects like in this video in particular: (sorry for the link, but it's much easier to show).

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=ePDR3Pza1_g

What I'm looking for is the following:

    1. the way in which they have the Id logo enlarge, shrink and distort at the beginning.

    2. the "broken TV reception', or"TV-snow"effect Also effect how they picture shrinking in some points.

    3. the way in which they have implemented titles at the beginning-"the Union Aerospace Corporation is the largest... »

I'm not looking for a free solution, in particular, so if anyone knows a few third-party plug-in, or something I can integrate into Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, I'd be very happy.

I don't know if it's the first or After Effects, either. So I apologize if I posted it in a wrong forum.

    Thank you in advance.

Distortion of the image, there's Digieffects damage:

    http://www.DigiEffects.com/product/damage

He made all sorts of distortions, analog and digital.

And to look shaky camera, NewBlue motion effects has an Active camera effect:

    Hi Tomas

I think that the replacement of the GPU is not easy because in most cases, the GPU chip is soldered on the map, and to my knowledge, the entire motherboard must be replaced.

Therefore, it would be desirable to examine and search the whole motherboard.

    Good bye

  • Looking for specific network cards

I'm looking to find adapters to specific network within our infrastructure.  I have been using this command.

    $vms = get - vm; foreach ($vm in $vms) {write-host $vm. {Name "-" $vm.networkadapters [0] .Guy}

I want to filter to find the flexible network adapter.  After all of the network adapters were found, we seek to find an automated way to change all the flexible drivers.  If anyone can help me to filter the flexible drivers, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

The following PowerCLI script lists all the virtual machines with Flexible type network adapters:

    Get-VM | Get-NetworkAdapter | Where-Object {
      $_.Type -eq "Flexible"} | `
      Select @{N="VM";E={$_.Parent}},@{N="Network Adapter";E={$_.Name}},Type

If you want to change the type of network adapter for all Flexible Vmxnet3 network cards you can do that with the following script:

    Get-VM | Get-NetworkAdapter | Where-Object {
      $_.Type -eq "Flexible"} | `
      Set-NetworkAdapter -Type Vmxnet3 -Confirm:$false

    Best regards, Robert

  • Hello, I am looking for a recommendation for the all-in-one for osx snow lepoard

    Hello

my old faithful hp 5550 works always strong, but no longer has the drivers for it under snow lepoard.

I want to replace it with an all-in-one that has the following characteristics:

    (1) color and black and white (very probably an inkjet)

    (2) automatic duplex printing

    (3) energy star

    (4) ability to scan (i.e. not only copy, but actually the scanning to a file)

    (5) connectable (my 5550 is on my airport that makes wireless, but I also want to analyze without plugging directly on my Mac... so I guess that I need to be in native mode in network, no?).  I don't care if it's wired or wireless.

    (6) as compact as possible, but this isn't the biggest concern

    7) less price $150

Things I don't care (no biggie if they are included, but I usually prefer the simplicity):

-Software to manipulate or improve pictures

-Possibility to print photos directly from an SD or CF card

    -Internet connectivity

    -Wireless

I do a lot is printing so it doesn't have to be super fast, or able to create thousands of pages per month.  Normally, I go through two reams of paper a year.

    Thank you!

    Ben

Well Yes, it will work fine.  I do it all the time.
