Lose the mapping source-target of a process of data flow diagram

When I reload an xml repository model design, I lose mappings of source-target of a process of data flow diagram. I wonder why.

The way it goes is:
-Define a flow diagram data banks of information, processes and workflows.
-Information structures are defined on the workflow and information reflected down to the processes and stores information.
-In a process, I defined mapping Source-target by selecting a target element, and then by selecting the source element.
-J' I save the entire model.
-So far, the mapping of the Source-target maintains the link between the source and target.
-If I leave Modeler data, next time I reload the saved template, the mapping target Source-target associations to elements of source are lost!

Someone there the same question or do not know how to solve?

Hi Mario,.

There are a few errors in the definitions of meta data and you can change them - are located in datamodeler\datamodeler\xmlmetadata directory.
(1) bad method is used in the definition of Process.xml meta data file:

getter = "getUpdatedTargetElements" should be replaced by
getter = "getTargetElements" and it works

also, there is an error in TargetElement.xml

getItemByID = "getPartyByID" should be replaced by
getItemByID = "getSourceByID."

    I followed the order mentioned in the configuration guide and above got errors.


    I was able to successfully mapping in the following repositories.

    / ATG, Store, stores, SecureStoreContentRepository-/ atg, store, stores, StoreContentRepository_production

    / ATG/SEO/SecureSEORepository-/ atg/seo/SEORepository_production

    / ATG/commerce/Pricing/priceLists/SecurePriceLists-/ atg/commerce/pricing/priceLists/PriceLists_production

    / ATG/userprofiling/PersonalizationRepository-/ atg/userprofiling/PersonalizationRepository_production

    Please let me know how to fix this error, any help is much appreciated.

    I did the SecurePriceListsRepository,SecureContentManagementRepository, SecureDynamicMetadataRepository, SecureSiteRepository, SecureProductCatalog repository in one shot and saved.

    Then, I saved the remaining deposits mentioned in the configuration document.

  • Where is the 'show source/target name' in 3.0?

    3.0 lost 1 great feature...

    He was named 'show the source/target name' under Tools, preferences, then diagram, logical model.

    I have an option to display the names of relationship in the schema. The anterior approach (small box next to the arrow) was beautiful, IMHO.

    The functionality is not lost.
    'Show stream Name', 'Show the relationship name' and "Display the name of FK" withdrew from preferences.
    Instead, "Show labels" option is added in right click menu of the corresponding to the diagram.

    In one step the debugger ask me to choose a Table of Source leading
    So I chose one, but I don't really know if it's the right...

    Can someone explain me what lies behind this Source leading and which is the right to chose?

    The source Table of the head, you can select one.
    It is only for the convenience of the user where to analyze the data.
    For example, if you have 3 source table and you want to debug on table 1, then select it. Debugger will display the data in table 1 and continue the process.

    your choice does not affect the final result.

  • Laptop HP Stream - 11-d010wm: having to check the compatibility of a MicroSD card with my data flow specifications before buying the card

    A SanDisk Ultra 16 GB UHS-I/class 10 Micro SDHC memory is not compatible with a laptop HP of Stream - 11-d010wm (ENERGY STAR)?  I have a couple of Micro SD cards, but they are getting older and being not recognized when I put them in the card slot reader, so I guess that they are not compatible.  I'm looking to buy a new SD card, but not to run into the same problem, so want to check compatibility before you buy... any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

    You can also consult the many Amazon comments and answered questions for the 11 waterways, as some say the real SD card they bought (although most seem to just mention 'micro SD' so I really think that everything you buy is going to work).  I can't explain why the 2 you have now are not unless they received a different kind of formatting.

    Ah wait however, this review has reported problems with the three different SanDisk class 10 cards, maybe you can search through the comments and find some that work.

    Tab in the process definition data flow, I tried to map the field of resource child form tabel with th treat the child form field table... but there is no available for this option.

    However, add a data flow Table mapping we can match child table resource to the child shape process table but that doesn't sovles my problem.

    Once you map the table, you right-click in the table and map fields from the child. According to me, this is how it works, or select the table mapping and click Add field. One way or another, you need to add the first table, and then the field.

  • Adding mapping meadow breeze target load order process

    OWB 11.2.0.2 on Oracle database 11.2.0.2

    I created a map that has 4 sources (views on the external tables) and 4 target (3 regular tables).

    V1 = > T1 (truncate/insert)
    V2 = > T2 (truncate/insert)
    V3 = > T3 (truncate/insert)
    V4 = > T3 (update/insert)

    The foregoing is the order of loading of target. It tested fine.

    I added a preliminary mapping (packaged procedure) process that is not related to one of these source/target tables, but a few outputs or triggers a failure to control if the mapping needs to continue to operate or not.

    When I run it, the counties selected/insert/merged are identical, but from what I see in T3 is that order was followed by update/insert to insert/truncate. I checked the target load order remained the same.

    Has anyone experience this problem?

    For OWB 11.2.0.2 target load order property set to "False" by default.
    If this is the case you can not ensure that the targets will be loaded in the order specified. It must be set to 'true '.

    Right click on your map and select configure-> properties-> target use loading Code generation for real command set.

    Please note that you must have the ODI EE license, and you must have installed OWB with opton Enterprise to set this property.

    We are looking to update the calendar in the mapping of period FDMEE source.

    I have attached the screenshot. Once I chose the MD (jan - Dec), the year GL calendar details up to 2014 is coimg upward where 2015 is still missing.

    We would like to know how to add details to the year 2015... where this timetable is maintained.

    Our source is Peoplesoft General Ledger and target is "ARM."

    I assume that the timetable is kept in TFTP so if 2015 has been another year added you initialize again your source system.

    I use a custom as a source for myFDMEE SQL database and stuck in some requests, I was wondering if anyone can suggest?

    1. for the mapping of the time, I need to have a calendar (period) pre-defined in SQL? If Yes, how can I do this?

    2 - Data (Jan - ED) columns in source Table, so I in the BefImport Script how do I insert values (Jan - Dec) in columns amount AIF?  I can insert the value from the column of Jan in the column AMOUNT of AIF Interface open when selecting Table "period mapping Type" as none.

    Please suggest if someone has an idea. Much appreciated!

    Table open interface adapter doesn't have several columns for periods so that the data is similar to FDMEE.

    There are two approaches:

    (1) you only keep current period data in the table to open interface.

    (2) you retain all data for all periods in the open interface board

    For 1)

    You can make your befimport script to import data into your custom sql only table during the POV.

    You can get the fdmContext period and use it as a filter in your SQL query to get the data

    with this option, you can use any type of mapping period as you do not need to use the mappings of period source: you have given class period POV in your open interface table

    For 2)

    This is generally used when the open interface table is populated from an external source where they load data for all periods in the table. Then, you will need to extract only your pov current data period.

    For this, you can use the mappings of Source period.

    With this option, you don't have any script befimport as the interface table is already filled.

    If you want to insert data for all periods in the table to open interface, you need to ROTATE the table as well:

    Acc1; 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12 where you have 12 values (for example, 1 to 12) is transformed into:

    Acc1; Jan; 1

    Acc1; Feb:2

    Acc1; Mar; 3...

    then you can use the mappings of source period to make the open interface card import only the data for the periods that you set in the execution of rule of data loading (the period of pov or a range of periods)

    This is to manually remove the master files. But are you sure you want to do this? Especially if these files are raw files? If you do, you throw a lot of precious image data. Remember that the main files are completely intact and in their original state at any time. The catalog stores all the changes that you make. But if you really want to delete your master files, you need just to delete them individually or as a group.

    You saying that you map the tables more than 5000, as in, you modify the column names or adding adding columns? It is not really clear.

    Let's say you have two types of source tables: those which maps directly through and those who will have a few changes (not to use a column, add a column, use a different name, etc.). The straight line through tables can use assumetargetdefs and passthru, right? Why waste time with GoldenGate looks up a definition just to know a table is the same? The other tables can be in a group where you (have to) use sourcedefs because there are differences; the tables do not meet the rules to be the same.

    I created the map in my source module... .in the mapping (USING_AGGREGATE)

    I used the scott.my_dept_data as a source table... aggregator used .then.. .and then filled the results in the table scott_t.my_dept


    The mapping has been validated successfully generated, deployed and after execution

    received the following message
