  I have been using adobe pagemaker 6.5. Recently one of my pagemaker files does not open a message "unable to complete action. Publication of closing, some work may be lost. Open previously saved publication. 8026:20551' is there a way I can open or repair this file?

  That's pretty much all with pagemaker, it comes to prevention rather than cure.
  If you can zip and view the file I try on my side, but I don't think I'll get different results.

  By 'lost', do you mean the app disappeared completely? Upgrade to El Cap should not 'remove' the app.

  Newer versions of Aperture are compatible with El Cap.

  Go to Finder - Applications - see if your app opening is there.

• Tried everything - everything still lost. Open NAT but cannot connect to some people on Xbox Live.

  Strange thing is that it happened out of nowhere. In November/December of last year we were all playing fine. In January, my NAT went from open to strict, so I opened it back up quickly. Out of the blue I can't seem to connect with the two people I actually want to play with, and I'm the only one that they could not connect with either, so it must be on my end, I guess. We can play together if there is someone else in our lobby or part, and we have both to join them.

  I tried everything under the Sun I could find, DMZ, disable the SPI, Portforward, etc, and none have set this little problem, although my NAT is open.

  Things I've found strange:

  • Port forwarding, in one of three ways does not work with UPNP turned on or turned off, although off-series me bare back.
  • Giving my Xbox a static IP given strict, however the auto assign gives open continuously.
  • My ports are never truly open from the test.

  I already put things:

  • Reserved IP which now auto-assigns itself to the last manual IP I tried the Xbox and continues to open, as well as the MAC address in the DHCP.
  • I tried following portforward.com and set up my computer to a static IP address and then set my ports. List them all yet closed the port checker sites, as well as the software to portforward.

  Setting up:

  • Xbox (reserved, automatic IP assigned by Xbox) > WGA600N Wireless Gaming Adapter > E3000 router (Firmware upwards so far as I can tell from the site)

  I hope someone can find a solution here, because I'm completely puzzled. I know there are a lot of topics similar to this but it seems everyone is a custom case and not answers to the problems of the other. Thank you all for any idea that you can provide.

  I was going crazy, because all of a sudden a tasks analog output did not work any more he said it conflicted with another task "always active"... I searched my entire application. Could not find anything. So finally, I closed the application labview together, and then it worked again, as if by magic. I came to the conclusion, that my stop and and clear task was not called when I closed my program in a different way.

  So my question: is there a possibility to see what daamx tasks are active when you start your program, so that you could erase any existing task?

  Better yet, DAQmx tasks really need to be created once, preferably during development and no runtime if you can avoid it at all the.  Presist them to the project (if you are deploying in a debug environment) or, for MAX, if you deploy a exe.  It also allows your tasks be available for troubleshooting and integration, or even a FPS "Engineering" for the station.  I don't remember the last time I've delivered a solution the DAQmx encluded create Task.vi.

  Its pretty easy to write yourself a little utility to give up and cancel all tasks DAQmx.

  Hello everyone,

  I am currently working on a LabVIEW application that communicates with a PLC using a Modbus Protocol (with an ethernet cable). The PLC is the master and the PC is the slave.

  The code is based on the Modbus of LabVIEW examples: "MB Ethernet example Master.vi, MB Ethernet example Slave.vi and MB Ethernet slave Demon.vi. It is not the first time I use it.

  But I recently discovered a problem. In my application, I have a pop-up with a button that opens a windows dialog box to select a result file.

  When the windows dialog box opens, the "MB Ethernet Slave Demon.vi" crashes (I put a meter inside to see what happened and it stops at the moment opens the dialog box), then when I close the dialog box, the counter continues to count, the connection ID is empty, and the number of the demon slave VI connection resets to 0. When communication is re-established between the PC and PLC (like 10 seconds after the closure of the dialog box), the number of connection go to 1 and table of login ID is no longer empty.

  Otherwise, the communication works very well. But not when the dialog box opens and is a significant problem for me because the user must be able to open results file during production that needs the Modbus communication at work because it's the controller who gives orders the computer to run the production cycle.

  Looking into some of the screws in the library, she uses methods of Server VI as "Run a VI" that will perform the loop of the root, as it crashes while the file dialog is open. I suspect that the new version of the library is not the problem.

  Try to do a restore before updates. • ESXi 4.1 lost any network connection

  I can't connect to my server ESXi 4.1.

  I restarted in the bios to disable the network card onboard because of the messages in the log file.  When I rebooted, I was unable to connect using vSphere.  I then tried the Test management network to the console and it does not ping the dhcp server.  I tried reallocation of network cards, but had the same result.

  After this, I restarted again in the bios and re-enabled the network card onboard to see if return to the original configuration might make the connection work again.  He did not.  Even if the console receives an IP address from the router console cannot always ping the dhcp server?

  Wow, I'm really confused and without any network to the ESXi server connection I'm dead in the water with my mail offline server.

  For the ESXi system reset, it will just reset the configuration of the host, but the data store will remain (and its contents).  After the reset (root password is empty / IP is set by DHCP) you will log in, browse the data store and find the VMX file for each virtual computer.  Right-click on the VMX file and select Add to the inventory.  If you have created groups of ports, you'll want to recreate those before adding virtual machines in return.  The virtual machines will have a reference to the former group of port by name (not case sensitive).   Can you please check your file PublishSettings.xml is so all entries in double profile?

  You can even check by renaming your .fla in .zip and extract the zip file to open the PublishSettings.xml

  If you find several entries in double profile then please remove all entries in the file duplicate and rename the .fla file and see if that helps.

• My windows Live Mail has frozen. Lost contacts, does not work online, can not open messages

  While away from home, I used my mobile to get online and download emails. As soon as I saw them, I clicked on 'work offline' in order to read and write the answer without using the 3 G for too long.  Since then, I have not been able to work online so I can't send or receive emails or open the 'old'. Also, my contacts have disappeared.
  I tried "System Restore" and repair Windows Live essential.  Neither made any difference.
  Can anyone help, please!  It is a disaster.

  Even if you have lost any info at the end of Windows Live Mail client on your laptop desktop computer, it can not be lost completely, as the good sign is have you worked offline, data so never synchronized with the real Active Server to web-based Microsoft account. Try as a solution to connect to http://www.outlook.com/ and see if you can see all of your emails and contacts. If you can view online repair and then at the end of your computer is easy, let us know if you can reach your contacts online via the Web page and NOT Windows based on the client software.
