low quality video webcam

I have tested a netgroup-based video chat software and find the video quality of webcam is quite low. However the same webcam in Photo Booth produces superior quality. Is there a setting I can change to make the webcam of superior quality?

Thank you.

Firstly, stimulate the resolution [cam.setMode ()], default is 120p; 640 x 480 or larger Variant of 480 p is generally supported by webcams modern; 240 and 360 p is also much better than the default.

If still not satisfied, try the setQuality() until you get it right.

The final copy is lower quality and way too bright. Noticibly too bright. Own obscurities turn into rough gray, and the quality is noticibly smaller as well. I checked the "use maximum render quality" and I tried to exportiing in AVI and MP4, and nothing is set. Any ideas?

First, what type of file do you need?  If you are looking for the lossless quality then I suggest to export a file with Animation codec quicktime or some other lossless codec.  However, these types of files are huge and that they could not read on your desktop.  But if you go just to put this video on the internet, when you're finished with it then I would suggest starting with one of the Youtube or Vimeo H.264 presets and modify it to match your clip.  It is still not as good as the original, but you can't expect miracles when you work in SD and in exporting to H.264 format, which is a codec very first.  If you want to try to export Quicktime or AVI without loss, and then change the settings so that they get something like this:

  • issue of streaming video webcam

    Hello

Before you buy Flash Media Server, I would like to know that:

-is it possible to crop the video webcam (because I need that part of the whole image) before streaming from Flash Player to the client on the media server? (she would reduce the bandwidth a lot)

-If not, the player can store parts of the video until it is fully listened with all it's data (30 fps) on the server? (for example: client: low bandwidth, I need all the frames that the webcam real-time records is not serious if it takes 1 minutes 20 seconds of video, that would be ok.)

    Thank you

    Peter

It is not possible to crop the video in the flashplayer. You can use the method Camera.setMode with the favorArea indicator is set to true to force a resolution of unsuppored but which often results in lowered image quality.

You may not store video locally but you can increase the buffer in the efforts to minimize the frame drops (see the bufferTime of the netstream class property). When you use an editing buffer, the Flashplayer does that drop frames when the buffer is full. I've never tried using a tampon for more than 10 seconds on a publishing stream, so I don't know if there is a limit to the increase (Nothing in the documentation on this subject). That said, if the user doesn't have sufficient bandwidth to publish in real time, images begin to fall eventually... no way to completely avoid this as far as I KNOW, other than to reduce the speed of transmission publishing.

  • Import a high quality video then suddenly decline in quality? [emergency]

I've done a video no audio in Adobe Captivate, I do a project, while I recorded my audio on my iphone when I imported the video from adobe it lost QUALITY look this photo Imgur , you see on the right (low quality), on the left (high quality)

What is the size of the image of the clip, and what is the sequence? As in both 1920 x 1080 or what? Also what is the frame rate of the clip and it is constant or variable rate (CFR).  If you are unsure you can download MediaInfo and drop a clip on it. Do a screengrab of the tree of this and post back here using the camera icon.

  • How to get previews of lower quality when working with Full-HD?

I work with Full-HD video, but I don't have to preview the files (rendering) to be too the 1920 x 1080. It takes a lot of disk space and a lot of time to make the preview files.

Is it possible to ensure a lower quality? For example, resolution 720 x 405 would be sufficient.

But when I want to make a permanent export, I need to get the Full HD video.

    Thank you!

Use a custom sequence and change previews as you wish.

  • Export from Adobe Premiere CS4 - out of low quality/pixelated WMV

Export WMV (Windows Media Video) from Adobe Premiere CS4 (via Adobe Media Encoder CS4) gives a very low quality/pixelated output (especially when there is text in the video). I use the following settings:

    Video Codec: Windows Media 9
    Pass encoding: 2
    Bitrate Mode: Variable unconstrained

    Width of the frame: 1024
    Frame height: 576

    (* Same as source)

Format of the pixels: Square pixels (1.0)

    Decoder complexity: Auto
    Keyframe interval: 5
Average of Bitrate of the video: 5000

I used the EXACT same settings in Adobe Premiere CS3 and the quality is absolutely perfect. (See the comparison example attached)

Any ideas what may be the problem?

    Thank you

Try gradual (no frame) in the settings of your sequence.

  • Low quality google images

Why water Google images display low quality picture zoomed in Firefox?

Probably, your mobile service provider replaces the original images with those small to save bandwidth. It is a common practice for mobile service providers. Then you would be better to talk to your provider, what can be done. Perhaps they offer other APNs.

  • G20: Deliver low quality - a Tuner or a MCE?

    Hello
I have new Qosmio G20 I tried for awhile.
During the recording of TV programs on the hard drive, I must say that the quality is not as good as expected (VHS quality).

The recording quality is set to high (possible bes in MCE).
I also burned CD and tested the quality on a DVD player
display the image on a plasma screen Pioneer XDE-436.

    Not good!

The quality of the tuner built (analog/digital hybrid) is not as good? (TV signal really ok - cable TV). Or MCE limited somehow?

    Hello:

You go into the BIOS, select the Advanced Options menu.

Go to device configuration menu and there will be an embedded audio setting.

It will be set to Disabled.  Change the setting to "Enabled".  Save the setting by pressing the F10 key, then again when you exit the BIOS here.

After you restart, you will have the on-board audio back.

  • Why are some of my low quality/pixelated and high quality desktop icons in other places

Hi, some of my icons on the desktop from my laptop (for example google chrome) are all grainy and low quality; However, in places like the taskbar and startmenu, they are fine.  My connection icon is also very low quality if it gives advice to the cause.  I have the same exact programs installed on my desktop (on windows 7) and I did not have this problem.  Any ideas as to what is happening?  Here is an image that can make it more clear about what I'm asking:

Right-click on an empty area of the desktop, choose View > small icons.

This only happens with icons that were not designed to be scale-able.  They are extended only slightly, causing artifacts as we see.  Microsoft has released the guidelines for the creation of an icon in their 'Style Guide of the user experience' a few years ago, but some software manufacturers understand that the sizes of icons "legacy", including max 32 x 32 I think.

  • Bad file? Downloaded HERE file turns out be filled with low-quality bitmap

    Hi all

This afternoon, I bought and downloaded a file HAVE (file number 104048928), which turned out to be filled with a bitmap pixelish of low quality that cannot be changed in any way. Does anyone know how such a bizarre thing can happen, and what should I do now? It's really one of the strangest things that ever happened to me...

I can't edit the title either, it seems to be part of the colorful picture. I'm going to make the picture of our content manager, and I gave you a license for the image credit. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • How to create PDFs with built-in quality video?

    Hello.

I am trying to create a PDF file that contains the embedded video, but the PDF ends with a very bad quality video. I create the PDF by InDesign, but I also tried to place the video in a PDF video Acrobat Pro X. same results. No matter what I do, the PDF has very poor integrated quality video, at the point of being unusable for the client's job. I see no documentation anywhere to choose the "quality" of the video inserted in a PDF file.

    Details of the source video

    -video 1 (page 1 of the PDF): 640 x 360 px .mov (H.264, 29.97 FPS, 2500 + kbps)

    -video 2 (page 2 of the PDF): 640 x 360 px .flv (H.264, 29.97 FPS, 2500 + kbps)

    Other details

-PDF created with Adobe InDesign CS5.5 (latest updates applied).

-Attempt to create PDF of various different machines (all running different versions of Mac OS X, all running CS5.5).

-Videos are placed in InDesign @ 100% actual size, PDFs are set to see full size of 100% (so there is no current scaling the could be the cause of the video to display so bad).

I've included examples of creative files and PDF file, which can be downloaded from this link:

    http://files.upincstudio.ca/_OZmix3P78Qd65R

If anyone has any suggestions as to why the embedded video looks so bad, it would be much apprecated.

    Thank you

    Kristin.

When you embed a video/sound/SWF in a PDF using InDesign CS5 + or Acrobat X + there is never any transcoding or resampling of the media - flate compressed so it can be written in the content stream, but it's just an exercise without loss of reconditioning, and when subsequently extracted by the application to display that is bit for bit identical to the file you chose in the first place.

    theboyk wrote:

And that is your problem - there no such thing as '100% ' in a PDF file if you are talking about the page view. PDF pages use the physical dimensions, which unless you use a different video player widget or set the annotation is displayed in a floating window, your images will not hit the screen 1:1 pixel. Unlike with Photoshop, when the zoom level of Acrobat is to ' 100% ' it means he's trying to make a page of the letter about 8.5 inches wide on your screen. Due to the limited precision in formats of paper and screen resolutions, made interactive stuff on the page will always evolve, even if it isn't that 0.1% - and scaling mean DURATION resampling.

Acrobat and Reader play video annotations using Flash Player, which uses a very basic but very effective algorithm across content in real time; the result is more memory than you can shake a stick at.

  • v 8.2.4 recent updated because of the fonts to appear 'low quality '.

Hi, I have recently updated to v 8.2.4, which caused the fonts in (all) my pdfs to appear 'low quality', i.e. the fonts appear jagged and poorly defined. Images in PDF files are also jagged, but not photographs. I would be grateful to know how to fix it. Thanks in advance,

If the fonts appear in stairs there are two likely reasons. The easy difficulty is that you have not the font smoothing is enabled in preferences, generally a good idea for most LCD monitors. The other problem could be that the police somehow got included as bitmap fonts. Usually the font bitmap look terrible unless you get just the right screen resolution. Basically, 'image' are not fonts and vector fonts. You should be able to check the police looking at the table of fonts in the document (ctrl-D) preferences.

  • Video very well in the first, low quality exports

Please forgive me for looking stupid, but I have played with the settings, read tutorials, travelled forums, and nothing seems to help me understand my problem.

    I use Adobe first CS5.5

I import my video as follows.

Capture HDV, HDV 1080 p 30 (default) format (settings tab I Timebase of 29.97, the pixel looks HD 1080 anamorphic (1.333), the display is 30 fps timecode offset.

When I change my video (I use a filter of chromakey to remove the green screen, a non red filter to clean the Green edges and a color balance filter)

and I'm ready to export, I use these settings:

Microsoft AVI format (output of synthetic C:\Video\filename.avi, 720 x 480, 29.97 FPS, it is said below, quality 100, then some audio info.)

The video codec, DV NTSC, Aspect is D1/DV NTSC wide screen 16:9, make Max Depth is checked, use Max rendering quality is also checked.

One of these settings cause me to get videos of extremely reduced quality? They play back in first fine, that's when I export they lose quality, so I think something is off. My boss put in place export settings, as he said he knew what he was doing. Maybe it is, I don't know, I just need some advice. I have a deadline to get videos made and I'm rendereing running time, visualization, possibilities of project with different parameters.

    All opinions are appreciated.

There is no need to export to anyone until you know the public target. For example, when find you what you need settings online, DIRECT export to that of the original sequence. Adobe Media Encoder has a "YouTube Widescreen HD" under "H.264" preset and it will do a good job in 720 p for example online. Or the export to DVD, or something else, but always in the original sequence.

If you just want to "check in" a copy of the complete edition, you have a few options. Excellent quality can be obtained by using the "Lagarith" codec, available for free download. It is not "uncompressed", but produces larger files. Very good for creating a "master" folder appropriate for archiving or later a re-issue. About quality of encoding "lossless." Not for delivery.

You can also put in place a high-quality MPEG-2 profile to save a master copy. See here - http://www.precomposed.com/blog/2009/07/hd-to-sd-dvd-best-methods/

    Download presets for SOUL - Adobe Media Encoder CS4 presets for 100 Mbit / s MPEG - 2 I - frame 4:2:2

Use one of these profiles to match your source footage-

Once you download and extract to any folder, just select MPEG2 as output in the SOUL format, click the import a preset, select the preset download file that corresponds to your source footage. (Excerpt from the precomposed site)

I hope it's useful for you

PS - "Max rendering quality" does not change the size of the exported file. Recommended to use this parameter when downconverting (export a smaller image size - 1080 to 720 or HD to SD). It does a better job with top-down quality.

  • Quality video picture in first 13 items is as good

Hi, I am new to Photoshop Elements and elements 13 first.

I have created a slideshow within first elements Organizer and the result is beautiful and pictures and the quality of the video clips are very good. Please note that I have not finished and exported slide show project yet. I've only seen it in the far preview pane. The size of the image of the imported photos is 4288 X 2848. The photos and videos have been created using my Nikon D90.

However, I tried to create a new video photo (instead of a slideshow) go in first element video editor using the same photos and video clips in my current project. My thought is that a video will allow me more creative by changing or adding features such as transitions, effects, audio, voice, etc. Surprisingly, the quality of the outcome of the reading is far from what I get in the slideshow created under the Organizer project. When I visited and video playback, it's blurred, has a degree of rasterization and as such is annoying and unpleasant. I haven't added audio or other elements yet.

Can someone help me please to solve this issue taking into account that I am a novice in this area?

    My operating system is:

    Windows 10 home

    CPU Intel (R) Core (TM) 3210 i5 @ 2.50 GHz

8.00 GB installed RAM (7.87 GB usable)

    operating system 64-bit, x 64 processor

Wonderful news of your progress and results. Great job.

All thought was to maintain a 16:9 workflow.

You dealt with video (649 x 424) low-resolution and high-resolution still (4288 x 2848), each with 3:2 aspect ratio. Premiere Elements project presets are 4:3 or 16:9 and did not have a project preset to match these properties and to provide space monitor change appropriate to change. And the first elements editor destination should be NTSC DVD-VIDEO screen 16:9 wide.

Result of your success with your source of videos and still images in the export items Organizer slideshow of 720 p (1280 x 720, 16:9) has proposed a first elements manually forced standing Editor preset to 1280 x 720, 16:9 (NTSC AVCHD AVCHD LITE 720p30). The latter would result in a 1280 x 720 space 16:9 in the monitor where you could manually change the source of 3:2 to fit 16:9 without black borders and space warp. The assumption was, if the elements Organizer could perform this setting globally and export for the 720 p, perhaps the first element Editor could do this too with some maneuvers.

The plan: 16:9 timeline content in a 16:9 project that was destined for a 16:9 export, in this case, NTSC_Widescreen_DVD to NTSC DVD-VIDEO in widescreen on DVD disc. (This final product has a size of 720 x 480 image and a 16:9 flag that extends from 16:9 to display video after encoding (872 x 480 16:9).)

There is more detail, but the above is the basics of how I thought navigating the workflow in the circumstances. You provided the key with your organizing items 720 p slideshow export results.

Please let me know if you need additional information about your first item workflows.

    Best wishes
