LR6 export Raw to JPEG and get a few blank (white) in my files

I have lightroom 6. Whenever I export a number of images (raw to JPEG) I find myself with to let a few empty (white) photographs and I have to go through all those newly exported to ensure I have everything and re - export all empty... Can someone please help?

Try to update to Lightroom 6.6.1

Hi, I recently upgraded to LR6 and found that my JPEG pictures appear much lighter than their original RAW files.

    Any ideas?

You probably accidentally set a default value for jpeg files or you 'Apply adjustments to your self' turned on in preferences-> Presets. You might want to try to reach the "default reset all development parameters" button in this same panel of preferences and to make sure that you do not have the automatic tone on.

  • When I "manually export level zero data", I get a few upper level members

I found that the export of level zero behaves differently over time. in our OSI 11.1.1.3 number cube, Feb. 4 EAS has exported only zero-level data when I "manually export level zero data. On 25 February, limbs stored exporting EAS with formula as well as the members of level as a Total, total compensation salary (when I manually 'export data to zero"). Why is this?

In OSB, you export level zero blocks - i.e. at level zero in all sparse dimensions. Export may still contain high-level dense dimension members.

Why it seems to me change over time, I'm not sure. Maybe to do with the question of whether data had been calculated when export has been run?

  • Camera RAW to JPEG - help!

I took several images in RAW and I want to change to JPEG files without opening each one.  I have renamed batch files with the .jpg extension, but the images are still opening in RAW form.  Help?  I don't want to have to open each one individually and make a backup as a .jpg file.

    Thank you!

    Nicole

You cannot rename just to change the format of the files.

Here's how to convert a whole bunch of files:

1 rename them back to what they were.

    2. open Photoshop.

    3. Select the bunch of files and drag them to the top border of Photoshop.

    4. go through the icons on the left of the Camera Raw dialog box and do some settings you want for each file (or all files) so that they look good for you.

    5. click on the link at the bottom in the center of the dialog box Camera Raw, then make sure that the color space and size are what you want.  I suggest to use the sRGB JPEG files for color space.

    6. click on the button [select all] , then click [Save image...] button down left.

    7. Select the Format file, etc. that you want to use to save the files.

    8. click on the [Save] button.

  • I'm not able to open my documents pages. I get the message: the requested index.xml file is missing.  I wonder if it is because I have updates 10.11.5

I have an iMac (20-inch, mid 2007) processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory and recently updated to el capitan 10.11.5.  I have Pages ' 09, and I can't open my documents pages and get the message:

The index.xml file required is missing.

I now see that it says return to default pages 5.6.2.

I can open them as 5.6.2 then save tehm in pages ' 09?

Can someone help me with easy tips?

Only the Pages ' 09 or old documents contain internal index.xml file. When you try to open a document in Pages ' 09 Pages v5, you get this dialog on the missing index.xml. The key is to stop Pages ' 09 and then double click on the document to open it in v5.6.2 Pages.

Pages ' 09 will not leave by simply clicking on the red light on the title bar of the document. As long as the Pages ' 09 continues to run, it will intercept all attempts to open any document Pages, including incompatible versions of the v5 Pages.

This has nothing to do with OS X 10.11.5. He has been a user focused on the issue since October 2013.

  • I just turned on my ipad and it came briefly and now there is a blank white screen

I tried to restart, I have it plugged in, but all I get is a blank white screen. I can not turn off either.

You mention that you "tried to restart"... have you tried a * must * reboot of the device?

Force the restart (does not affect the settings/data/music/apps/etc)

    1. press and hold the sleep/wake button

    2. press and hold the Home button

    3. hold both buttons until the screen turns off, then back on with the Apple logo.

LR 5.7 cannot find my files already edited because I accidentally deleted them. I have original and exported raw files edited JPEG images on an external hard drive. How to get back on LR the possibility to repeat already published photos complete with a history of editing? Thank you.

Thank you Joe Maniac.  I deleted the original linked files on my internal hard drive which were dng files, but had copies of the raw files edited and edited the exported raw files (in JPEG format).  I don't have copies of dng files.  So what I ended up having to do was import the original raw files which then made a DNG copy on my internal hard drive.  The link has not changed, but now the files were back in the original track for missing photo alerts disappeared and I was able to see my change history.  The process has been painful, but without the dng, I had nothing to do a link to more if at least re-import them files has recreated the dng.  I don't know if there was an easier way, but it seemed that the problem did not the link deletion.  I use LR for a few years, but it was a rookie mistake, precipitated by my hard drive being so jammed up I ended up delete what I shouldn't.  I should have just moved the dng and the link to an external hard drive. Thanks again.

  • RAW to JPEG without export conversion

    Hi all

I especially shoot in RAW to get the extra flexibility, which offer during post.

Once I've finished editing RAW images in LR3, I want to convert them to JPEG format to save disk space. Is there an easy way to do it? I have currently export JPEG files, delete the RAW images, and then re - import JPEG images in Lightroom.

    Thank you very much

Imagine converting a RAW to JPEG in Lightroom 1.0 with the wrong color, wrong detail and noise of shit. Now with LR3 could have converted with much better raw color and an extra stop of headroom ISO and some additional megapxels of perceived sharpness.

If only you had not trashed your Raws...

EDIT: If you want to continue to him, set up a predefined export which saves in Jpeg, in the same folder as the original, adding that exports back to the catalog. Just delete the raws after that.

  • You want to export the RAW to JPEG images but signing here first.

Lightroom was surprised in the past with his special ways of wanting to serve, so I learned that it is better to get here even before doing something that I did not before who seems even simple.

I have a folder of RAW images that some are marked with the color, but I want to export all in jpeg format and have these questions:

1.) is is as simple as it may seem in the file menu? Simply select the menu options for export and that's all?

(2.) the alterations of Lightroom for setting and cropping images, will be part of the exported images?

3.) can I select a size for the images, for example I don't want full resolution but 150ppi with a maximum size of 1500 pixels for height or width?

(4.) if I select the folder itself, should not all images that are without regard to color or signaling convert?

Armed with this information, I should be able to give my clients everything she wants.

    TIA,

    Ken

    Ken,

    (1) Yes

    (2) Yes, they go to their last edited state if not specially selected otherwise

    (3) Yes, see Image Sizing section

    (4) it depends on if you need the exported photos. In LR, you usually don't export when you want to do something with the jpgs you produce and remove afterwards where you exported to (you can always re - export if necessary).

  • Photos, convert and replacement RAW to JPEG files

    Hello!

I've been googling and looking for forums of Apple, and I've not found a way to do it again. I'm not sure that it is still possible.

I have a MacBook pro with a nice little SSD. Take RAW photos is gourmet area, and many of them lying around. Is there a way to replace the RAW with a JPEG photo-generated file to save space?

I thought to export to JPEG, removing the RAWs and import JPEG files, but then I will lose the album information they contain.

Is there a way to transform the RAWs in JPEG, then delete the RAWs to save space? Or is it easier to simply delete?

Any response would be highly appreciated!

Export and re-import are the only way to replace the originals.

And it takes if ensure that the original RAW have been deleted from your library and iCloud, before you reimport the JPEGs or Photos will be STINKING RAW format. At least, this happened to me several times.

You could try to export and import after assigning the name of the album as a keyword. Each album individiually, export

According to reimport the photos create a form of album pictures of the last Import. You can aalso use the albumname keyword to search for them.

When all goes well, remove the keyword, you no longer need.

  • What is the difference between save in jpeg and jpg format export

    Hello

Can you tell me what the difference is between save it in jpeg format and export as jpg features.  If I do two things on the same tiff/psd file, the jpeg format is about 10 MB and the jpg is around 2 mb.  What information will I lose through the export feature?

    I use photoshop cc.

In addition to what Jane said, the reason for the difference in file size, assuming that you used the same quality in both cases, is due to the presence of metadata in the version save slot, but not the export version as.

If you look at the charts of Jane, you will see the metadata 'none' radio button is selected that tells the program to remove it. When you work with Photoshop on a PSD or other types of files, the program saves a history of all the things you do and stores. This can cause a very large amount of effectively unwanted data is saved and the file size, or even from a PSD can really expand considerably as the Junk does not appear to be stored compressed. The more you work on the document of that metadata more gross accumulates. You can see what happens in Photoshop by selecting File Info

If you look at the raw data tab, you can see all stored in XML format. It doesn't mean much unless you are an expert, but I imagine that someone finds it useful.

When you export as is everything that that data are removed, reducing the size of the file. You can see that in taking a Jpeg exported in this way and the information file by calling again. What confuses some people, is that the data are still there when it shouldn't, this occurs because the Act of opening the file is saved and poured in the raw data. It is not really there in your file unless you save the file later.

    Hope that helps

  • Loss of quality in Lightroom on export of raw to JPEG

I know that this question has been asked several times on these forums, as well as other sites, but I have not found an answer with my situation. I spend a lot of time editing .nef (shooting with a Nikon D5300) and when I export to JPEG, I get dishes photos blunt. When I export, I use the sRGB color space and the 100% quality. I'm not resizing or sharpening. I imported even the jpeg format to one side by side inside LR to make sure that what I see is correct, and you can certainly make a difference. I want people just to see what I see inside LR. Any help would be appreciated!

There are three types of sharpening make you in Lightroom:

    (1) sharpening capture that do to the native resolution of the sensor camera, such as specified in the section detail of the develop module, to counterbalance the slight confusion of the anti-aliasing filter and optics imperfect as the interpolation of colors 2 / 3 in each pixel position.

    (2) creative sharpening to specific areas of an image to the native resolution of the sensor.  It would use an adjustment brush with sharpening in loaded areas who need to sharpen as the eyes and the lips and other areas important to give them a little more than a little more importance.

    (3) output sharpening, specified on export, after resizing to the size of the final output.

The detail section develop is only capture sharpening, then you will not see the result of all three, especially not an export resized down, whenever you move a slider to develop in detail, which is what you expect to see with zoom made, but it would be much to slow down to make an export just to show the sharpening be done according to an arbitrary of any form of zoom size is.  Development in the area of Wolf resampling is very fast and somewhat distorted as you found it.  Move to the library is a little more specific, because the preview is calculated to slightly larger that the size of the screen then resized to the size of the view made.

If you notice in the retail area, if you do not have adjustments at 1:1 or 100% zoom, then it is an exclamation point at the top left if you hover over, he suggested to use 1:1.
