  Anyone know where I can get the driver for the Ethernet controller? I reformatted my laptop and installed Vista Ultimate. I found the drivers for everything via HPs support site, but they do not have the driver for the controller.  I am unable to connect to the Internet and I think that its because of this driver. HP tghus far was not very useful.

  I did just format and install XP Pro on my satallite A30-141 and there is no noise coming from him. When I check in the Device Manager it shows multimedia audio control with an exclamation mark, and "the drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) "and the same for PCI Modem, SM bus controller and USB controller.

  I can't find the page to download these drivers anywhere, including on Toshibas.

  What Toshiba drivers you have reinstalled exactly? I'm pretty sure that you don't have installed all the drivers because you always have a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager
  In addition, it would be interesting to know what operating system is installed
