Available microsoft operating system.

Hello @Parkman1946 ,

Welcome to the forums of HP,

I understand you are trying to connect Laserjet M1212nf to Chromebook.

I would like to help.

The Chromebook and Laserjet will work together, but it takes some preparation.

For starters, ePrint is not the same as wireless.

If you connect an ethernet cable from the printer to your modem/router, the printer will be visible on your network.

This would allow PC and Mac to connect to the wireless printer, but not the Chromebook.

Once the printer on the network, you'll always need activate (ePrint) Web Services functionality to print from your Chromebook.

This will require an update of the firmware on the printer.

I'm sorry, but you will need a PC or a Mac to perform the firmware update.

Once the firmware is updated, you will need to access the printer Embedded Web Sever (EWS) to enable Web Services. Once enabled, the printer will print on a request code that you can use to connect the printer to Google

Cloud Print.

You said that you don't have access to a PC. That's why I did not go into details about access to the EWS.

It is possible to have someone bring a computer to your place for a bit, you could get the update of the firmware made.

To make life easy, if/when you get a PC or a Mac to the printer, location, call the Cloud Services to help put everything in place.
