M30 after the new installation. Need some drivers!
I lost my installation cd :(
I had to do a clean install of everything and I downloaded all Toshiba drivers, but there are still three devices without drivers: -.
(1) system base unit
(2) network controller
(3) USB controller
Where can I get drivers for these from?

As far as know there is no separate driver for keyboard to be installed. It is included in the OS. All the drivers and tools for your device, you can find on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com topic support & downloads. As Tom says check if there are also instructions for listed Installations. Installation must be performed in a specific order.

Windows update no longer works for systems with SP2 or less. To check your systems service pack level, click on Start, run and typeWinver in the Run dialog box. If your system does not already have Windows XP SP3 installed, download and install XP SP3 from the link below. (Ignore warnings about professionals of computing and network facilities).

Hi all
After the new installation of the WCC 11.1.1.8 on Microsoft server 2008 R2 SP1 64-bit UCM_server1 EE cannot start. (Please see trace below). WCC 11.1.1.7 work fine in this environment.
Steps to follow:
1. installation of jrockit - jdk1.6.0_45 - R28.2.7 - 4.1.0
2. installation of WLS 10.3.6
3. installation of the WCC 11.1.1.8
4 creating the UCR 11.1.1.8 schema
5. creation of field of config.cmd with AdminServer, UCM_server1, IBR_server1
6. run Admin - (success)
7 run (optional) NodeManager - (success)
8 run UCM_server1 - failed
Still not work after having patched MLR 1 for WCC 11.1.1.8 or upgrade 11.1.1.7.
Log files we can see this problem caused by the JniNativeOsUtils.dll file in ' < Middleware Home > \Oracle_ECM1\ucm\idc\components\NativeOsUtils\lib\windows-amd64\7.2.1.1.
I have replaced JniNativeOsUtils.dll with the same 11.1.1.7 file version and UCM_server1 started working
I got errors when starting (syNativeOsUtilsNotLoaded and UnsatisfiedLinkError - you can raise in trace below), but COE upward and the works.
I also get error when you try to start the utility SystemProperties or ComponentWithard:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Oracle\MIDDLE~1\USER_P~1\domains\WCC_DO~1\ucm\cs\bin\SystemProperties.exe." Load Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFC, processorArchitecture = "amd64", publicKeyToken is "1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b", type = "win32", version = "8.0.50727.762' is not found. Oracle 10g RMAN does not work in RHEL 4 after the new installation
I downloaded Oracle 10 g R2 from OTN to self-training.
I have the problem with the RMAN after the new Oracle 10 g installation in RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 4. (x 86)
Everything works fine, the database mounted including EM, SQLPlus, iSQLPlus etc.
But when I try to run the RMAN command on the terminal, nothing happens. No prompt, RMAN, no error message!
I ran the command 'repeat all' but no help.
Please advice.

Check your PATH variable, you can move $ORACLE_HOME/bin to the top.

Satellite A300: Vista 64 bits after the new installation by using the recovery disk
I have a Toshiba Satellite A300 A300 / M00 and when I got it, it had Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit. But after awhile, I started to have problems so I decided to reinstall Vista on my laptop. After crossing with the product recovery media, my system become so 64-bit.
Was not my system suppose to have 32-bit when it was originally with her?
If no, then how can I install 32 bit once more on my laptop like 64-bit gives me problems with the installation of some of my programs.If I need to buy a copy of Vista 32 Bit, where can I find the drivers for my system, because the product recovery media has all the drivers on this subject.

Why would you say that Toshiba Recovery disk contains a version of Vista 64-bit?
How did you check that?
From my experience, the Toshiba recovery disc still contains the preinstalled operating system.Also as much as I know the new notebook from Toshiba are not delivered with the recovery disk, but with a HARD drive recovery option.
This option allows you to reinstall the OS from the second partition of HARD drive recovery.

Windows 7 Pro update is not after the new installation
I know that this question is asked many times, but I tried pretty much everything that is suggested and nothing seems to work, some worked for others, but they have not worked for me.
I have replaced a failed hard drive on a Lenovo X 200 an old laptop that I was giving away he a son of friends who needed just for the College.
I stuck in an SSD and saw genuine window 7 Pro licenses as was previously on Vista, I made a new installation as I've done a hundred times before, and then as always update windows first, but I'm just update Windows scroll bar I left it all night nothing happened.
I tried using the Microsoft Easy Fix times nothing.
I tried Windows Update Agent still nothing.
I tried a suggestion here that seemed to have worked for others install (KB3102810) I did as stated on this occasion, he worked told him there are 225 updates and 18 in option more, I jumped in option one it seemed to work very well it installed just 13 with the lack of rest I restarted as requested but recede in windows it says Windows is up to date, that was impossible.
I clicked on update again and it does what it was originally just to get the scroll bar that I left for hours and nothing, this is seriously my head in, I think that Microsoft is not going like it the impression that I'm being bullied by installing Win 10 and the person wants to win 10 , because they prefer to Win 7.

I have Toshiba Satellite L40 and I lost the recovery disk. So I download the drivers from the Toshiba website and install them. I have a new installation of windows Vista Home premium Edition SP1 also. But Atheros Wireless did not work properly. There a lock button icon status change not always off and the light is always too. Restore backup files after the new installation of Vista
I recently had to replace my main hard drive as it has completely crashed and burned. Fortunately, I thought, I had been diligently backing up to an external hard drive. So after replaced by a fresh hard drive and a new installation of Vista, I thought I could just restore these files from backup... but no luck. New Vista does not recognize the old Vista backup. And it will allow me to migrate these files in any usable fashion. Is it possible for me to get the new Vista installation to access these backups from the previous installation of Vista?

(3) was it a file, or a backup system image?

Cannot adjust the brightness of the screen after the new installation of Windows 7
I have a Pavilion dv2945se notebook. I have completely updated the Nvidia geforce 7150 m drivers. My laptop came with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, and I did a new install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I can't adjust the brightness of the display. I narrowed down the problem to the generic PnP Monitor driver. How can I solve this problem?
Edit: I mean "impossible to adjust the brightness of the display" that every time I go into power options and trying to use the cursor, Windows Explorer crashes. Also, my fn + F7 and F8 keys light work before I connect to windows, but not after. I think that something will charge when I connect to windows that is causing the problem. So I went in Mode safe, but then all that allows to control the brightness has not loaded when I went into safe mode, which was not helpful. I also went into MSConfig and disabled all startup programs, but again, I have the same problem. The brightness of the keys work before connect you to Windows, but not thereafter.
When I turn off the device generic PnP monitor (1) can't adjust the brightness at all and (2) the Power Options window stops freezing. That's how I've narrowed the problem to the generic PnP Monitor driver.
I finally solved this by uninstalling the driver for the ALPS touchpad. Because there are no Windows 7 drivers for my laptop even though it is listed in the models capable of upgrading to Windows 7, I used Windows Vista touchpad drivers. It was the cause of my problem with brightness adjustment. I don't know why it worked, but I've narrowed it down by disabling all processes start and then from their one at a time to see what caused the problem. As soon as I started Apoint.exe, I started to have problems.
Now, I just have to find a way to disable the touchpad tapping without the ALPS drivers.

I'm trying to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro on a Lenovo ThinkPad X 200. The product key is easy to find on the sticker of the ThinkPad. However, the version of Windows is hidden (for example, I can't check that my ThinkPad had originally installed Windows 7 Pro). I was able to install by using a Pro Win 7 SP1 CD ROM I bought for another installation. I used the ThinkPad I was trying to make the new facility on the product key. I was able to activate the Windows 7 Pro using the phone call and my cell phone. I checked the activation! However, I have problems with Windows update. The product key may be a different version of Windows 7. If so, why did it install and activate OK? Y at - it a fix for this problem or I have to buy a new version of Windows 7 Pro?
