Made a horrible mistake, now there is no solution?

Please, read this and don't waste your time telling me stupid, I was, or how I should not have done that. I know that, believe me. I'm looking for are the possible solutions. At this point, it seems that there is not, I searched a days. But I'm depending on you people to find a solution that will ease my pain.

I have apps cluttering everything on my iPhone and iPad. I was really stupid to believe that IOS resembled my Mac that I could uninstall a program at any time I wanted.

But when (for example), I wanted a free calendar app, I downloaded a dozen different calendars, tried them, pick one that suits and threw the rest. Alas, the problem. Apple has decided that once you download an app, then you must have this app associated with your name, to death.

Now, every update restores a dozen calendar apps I've tried every possible means to remove. Who multiplied by the number of applications in addition to calendars. I have literally hundreds of silly applications that were loaded until I discovered that you can never get rid of them no matter what happens. Even the foreign language that I have ever used. They all keep coming back.

You can suggest that I have just do not update. But they appear on my App Store and don't go away until I click on update.

You can suggest that I have hide. This seems to be a temporary skin, until a reboot or an update.

I'd only like to know that Apple wants to keep popping these apps on my iPhone until I downloaded a few embarrassing online dating applications at a party once. My wife wasn't laughing when the apps kept popping up on my phone.

Well, I know that I've screwed up. I'll never download apps again. But what I can possibly do?

What you describe is in no way the behavior that should be exposed.

How, exactly, you delete your iPhone apps?

How do you update your applications? Via iTunes?
