Magnifying glass icons and grid library

In the library, my icons modes loupe and grid disappeared. How do I get back them?

Press "T" (for the toolbar). But if the toolbar is already displayed, click on the small arrow at the right end of the toolbar and click on "Display Modes".

I just installed the 3.3 update and restarted my computer. (Win 7 64 bit).

When I started LR 3.3 the (very useful for me) grid/magnifying glass icons that are found just below the display of images are no longer there in library mode. How to make a comeback?

    Thank you, Alan

Try pressing "T". (Show/hide toolbar - also menu display and show or hide the toolbar).  If you have the toolbar, but the pieces is missing, click on the arrow down, far right of the toolbar, and you can check or uncheck what you want to see in the toolbar.

  • Missing magnifying glass icon

magnifer icon has disappeared from the 'bar' at the foot of the computer. System Restore did not return

Here's something you can do, in the Start menu click Help and Support, type magnifying glass in the search box.  There will be info and a link to turn it on.  I saw glass magnifier in the lower area of the right of bar jobs, can't seem to make it appear on this computer.  Used to find a box that says: "Display icon in taskbar".   Noticed + U on Windows XP; Sorry, tried to copy / paste the help and Support Center.  It's the 'Windows key' + U.    The application, magnifying glass, is under the accessories and then under accessibility.  Not in the control panel.

  • Shortcut Favorites needs heavy bar... a little search box, players like me and people he would find tons easier to have a legras hour glass icon and research

Basically, Firefox lacks a very simple feature that would exceed the other internet browsers, search box bar Favorites, maybe a little icon as a looking glass to allow web users to access lourdes there favorite web page saves, I tend to accumulate a lot of forums and tutorials. I am also a heavy modding gamer and love, be awesome if you guys added this feature, it is plain as day, its something necessary.

Does not have the search bar in the top right of the screen (part of the navigation bar)

You have this problem when running in Firefox SafeMode?
    A troubleshooting mode.

You can open the Firefox 4.0 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu. Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox to open it again.

  • Magnifying glass (Windows 7) can be programmed to start at a higher magnification?

I am writing on behalf of my elderly mother, who has a very low vision due to macular degeneration.  She enjoys the loupe tool and that you should use it whenever she used the computer.

Is it possible to put the magnifying glass so that it lights up at greater than 100 x magnification?  It seems only lights at this level, which is difficult for her to see, so every day, she had to fight to turn the level up to x 300 or 400 x.

    Thanks for your help!

Yes, he does. When you open your Magnifier application, it automatically zoom to 200%, but there is a magnifying glass icon that, once you click on, you see more settings. Click on the icon "+" to zoom in up to 1600%. Hope this helps (excuse my English is not my native language).

  • How can I get a magnifying glass on a search button?

Hi, I use the Google search box on a page with the 'search' as the value of the key.  I prefer to use the magnifying glass icon little widely used next to the search boxes but may not work on how to get one on the button instead of the text.  Will there be more neatly to do than to bother with pictures from bg?  Perhaps a special character (which I can't find it)?

    Thank you

  • Recently noticed an icon "Magnifying glass" in the taskbar, never seen before; Seems to be related to INDEXING; What should I do?

A few hours earlier, I noticed what looks like vaguely to a "magnifying glass" in my taskbartype icon.  When I hover the mouse over it, I see either of two different messages.

    Message n ° 1.  "Theindexing is complete.

Message n ° 2.  "Tyindexing is slowed due to the activities of the user."

I have never seen that before (including the taskbar icon), have no idea what that means, or what, if anything to see about that.

I would appreciate any enlightenment as to what is happening here.

This means that you have installed Windows Search

Windows Search will slow your system down with it's indexing and most of the people are eager to get rid of it.

My advice: Uninstall via Add/Remove programs.

Thanks for your thoughts on the subject!

    In addition, I've seen,
the problem stops in each content displayed with IE9.

    Sometimes the spotlight seems to work;
    also, in these rare cases,.
the magnifying glass shows only one
    snapshot of the content displayed.
For example, during scrolling, the magnified area does not work.

It was no problem before using IE8.

Maybe somewhere there is a button to change this behavior?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

For example, 640 × 480 is a lower screen resolution, and 1600 × 1200 is higher. CRT monitors generally display a resolution of 800 × 600 or 1024 × 768. LCD monitors can better support the higher resolutions. If you can increase your screen resolution depends on the size and capability of your monitor and the type of video card you have.

Text and images are sharper and smaller at high screen resolutions
Text is larger and easier to read at low screen resolutions, but images are rasterized and number of items adapted to the screen
    1. Open display settings by clicking on the button start , by clicking on Control Panel, appearance and personalization, clickingPersonalization and then clicking display settings.

    2. Under resolution, move the slider to the desired resolution, then clickApply.

    Notes

    • When you change the screen resolution, it affects all users who log on the computer.

    • When you set your monitor to a screen resolution that it will not support, the screen will go black for a few seconds while the monitor returns to the original resolution

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Here is the procedure to turn off the Magnifier on startup: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/125037-magnifier-turn-off.html.  Then restart.  That should do the trick.

    I hope this helps.
