  • the E-mail font sizing

    All of a sudden when I opened my mail page, I found extra small fonts in use.  How to restore the fonts they had initially?

    Go to tools | Options | Read | Fonts and check the settings there.  Also, go to view | Text size and make sure its on the medium setting.

  • Windows Live Mail fonts, hard to read screen

    Screen messaging Windows Live, characters became suddenly blurred, too bright when I turned on the computer today.  This used to be a common problem, but in recent months, it has been very well.  How can I fix it?

    Hello

    One of the things I've learned is to run programs in compatibility following mode: right-click on the icon of the program on the desktop and select Properties. Then select the tab compatibility on the top row. Mark the following settings:

    (1) (check the operation in the area of program compatibility mode and the menu drop-down select Windows 7.

    (2) check the box in front of the line that reads turn off display timing of high DPI settings.

    (3) check the box in front of the line that reads run as administrator.

    4) click on "Apply" (from the second row of buttons).

    (5) click on apply to all the users box.

    (6) repeat these same settings for all users.

    7) click on 'Apply' (from the second row of buttons).

    8) click on 'OK' and 'OK '.

    In addition to my e-mail program, my 3 rd-party and Firefox need file manager this tweak in order to maintain the font size, I put in them.

    Unfortunately, it must be done individually for each application behave badly and settings don't always hold, but it is the best and so far only, workaround that I found the problem.

    Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

    Kind regards

  • How to delete Windows Live Mail fonts

    I have so many fonts in Windows Live Mail that I have need; they all look alike.  How can I safely delete them?

    The last point, they have disabled what was used to be used in OE for stationery and have only basic stuff that are pretty ugly.  There is no version of OE can be installed in Win7 or 8.  I suspect what said you, was that you could buy Outlook, but has neither stationery.  The only way to use OE in Win 7 is via a virtual machine (see www.oehelp.com/OEnWin7.aspx).

    For fonts, you can copy the contents of C:\windows\fonts to save the fonts.  Then you can take a stab and delete those you don't need.  If you accidentally delete one you wanted, then you can go to the copy and then right-click on the police and choose Install to reinstall.  So just save them first and you can play with what you have without worry.

    Remember however, that unless the recipient of your e-mail message has the font installed on their computer, the fonts you choose will not be what they see.

    see you soon,

  • AOL Mail font list is too small.

    I recently bought Windows 8, IE 10 and 9.7 of AOL.  The font is too small on the mail list.  This issue has been addressed yet?  What should I do?  I have XP has used so far and had no problem changing the size of police through IE.  Even the icons are small in the menu bar, but I can deal with that, if I have to.  Help, it's really bad in my eyes!

    Hold down the ALT key and then the menu should appear.  They began to hide like that and it does not show as long as you hold down the ALT key.

  • Creating E-mail: Font Style ball Outlook

    I have problems with my style of e-mail appearing when displayed in outlook. My list numbering policy is set to Arial and appeared in Arial on other providers of e-mail, but in Outlook, the numbers appear in Times New Roman. Any tips?

    You can set this as CSS or do it online so it will force the choice of fonts in Outlook. Outlook is a PITA to get everything correct because each version cancels their html support.

    CSS would be

    or inline would be:

      font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

      font-size: 12px;

      font-style: normal;

      line-height: 2em;

      font-weight: normal;

      font-variant: normal;">

  • Why IE9 does font size change in Windows Mail

    After installing IE9, the font size in the text of my e-mail in Windows Mail is locked using a small font.  The police is also set by default to the "BOLD" type.  I can't change the font size or remove the type of fat.  The size is too small for me to read without straining on my eyes, and the "BOLD" font is hard on the eyes.

    Despite what the associated threads said you, you're not the first to report this symptom:

    You can have zoomed pages by accident.
    Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

    • View > Zoom > reset (Ctrl / command + 0 (zero))
  • How can I change a font back to black in OE6?

    I copied and pasted the text into an outgoing email that had a color maroon. I made a hard return and I am able to change the font type and size, but I still get the text of brown color. I clicked the font color button, a dozen times and chose black, but he always Pat Brown on my outgoing e-mail.

    Hi Relztrah,

    Try to configure your color setings: Open OE6-> tools-> Options-> composed-> Mail-> font settings.

    If you copy and paste should normally only effect your mail new message current. All new emails should be normal (black).

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows mail suddenly strange behavior in Windows Vista Ultimate Edition

    Windows mail attachment installation behaves is no longer as he did before some 25 windows updates 14/04/2011.

    When I receive today a mail with an attachment list of the mails in the Inbox screen poster that an attachment is present however when you click on the specific email mail don't watch not only itb has an attachment also unless there was possible to miss the fact that it is there

    If one clicks on the indicator of attachment in the box to list then a message asking you if you want to open the attachment.

    One wonders if MS has changed the way Windows Mail works on Vista or upgrades she included it or is it corrupted in some form.

    Tried the usual things to stop anti virus etc and the removal of updates, but this made no difference. At this point reluctant to do a restore to pre 14/04/2011.

    This is due to a series of bugs introduced by IE 9.  If you uninstall IE9, you'll see that the problems go away.  It is unlikely that there will be a fix, like those of Microsoft aren't replying to MVPs who contacted them on this matter.  You can also work around the problem by opening the message in a separate window.  See this thread for more information: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-networking/windows-mail-font-problems-after-installing-ie9/a4274c96-d44f-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5
