Mail on El Capitan has problem with answer and respond to the

I just upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan (10.11.2) on my MacBook Pro 15 in late 2008, and everything seems to work fine (so far) with this exception.

When I try to reply to a message, a message window opens with nothing entered.  No to the:, no subject:, nothing in the body of the email from the original.  Just empty in all areas.  When I try to close the window with the red button, it does nothing, so now I have a useless window I can't close.  I can fill in the To and subject to the fields, but when I try to tab or the mouse in the body of the email, the cursor disappears.

My only way to dispel this is so close to what point mail accidents.  I have attached the crash debugging information below.

Does anyone know why it would act this way?  I looked at the symptoms and have rebuilt my Inbox, but continues to be the same thing.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Clearly, I can't be the only one to experience this.

  • Problems with WRT54GS and EasyLink after the addition of the Comcast Digital phone.

    I had a working network. Cable modem (Comcast), WRT54GS, 2 PCs per (an XP/SP3, a Vista Home Edition SP1), 2 cable PC laptop wireless (an XP/SP3, a Vista Home Edition SP1) and a HP OfficeJet 7210 printer (connected to WRT54GS as a network printer). Everything was going well and worked.

    Then, I added the Comcast Digital phone. Obviously, they went for a new modem cable modem cable with the phone service option. Now I can't print to the wired Vista PC OfficeJet and EasyLink displays "initializing" for too long I'll wait (5 minutes).

    Finally, I must kill EasyLink from the Task Manager. Any help or ideas appreciated!

    I solved the problem. It turns out the new modem cable and problem with EasyLink initialization were 'diversion '.

    The problem turns out to be a classic network problem! The Vista PC wired had a wrong IP address. The wireless PC XP has the printer configured with the name of network instead of the network address (IP, for example).

    When I deleted the printer on the Vista PC and added to the correct address everything worked fine.

    Apparently, the printer got a new IP address of the server on the WRT54GS after installing the new modem. In addition, it seems that Vista doesn't has not report an error of communication to a network printer, but for a direct USB connect.

  • Problems with VSS and RoboHelp on the second machine

    We chose to use Visual Source Safe as our source for use with RoboHelp control tool. To build the VSS database that contains the project to help on the server, we used the version of our aid project successfully on my machine. I got no problem with it for several weeks. Everything works beautifully. Files are collected, verified and checked back with no problem.

    The problem is that we have been unable to someone else have been correctly set up on the team upward with the RoboHelp VSS source control. Given that we do not build the database from scratch, the way we did with mine, we try to 'get' the version of VSS on the server and place it on his machine. I guess this is the way to do it, but we don't know how. When we try to get the version in the source code control, only the top level of subject .htm are recovered, and not anything that is nested in children. Then, when attempting to open the project help on his machine, we get all sorts of errors going to "corrupt .cpd" files to 'caractΦres' to "the local version is different from the source control version" (DUH!). We say to her to get the files in RoboHelp, when we try to open the project assistance to his C drive, but it's not download them properly, and invariably RoboHelp breaks down.

    Anyone who has successfully used VSS with RoboHelp, and if so, how do you get a new computer with an existing RoboHelp project, which is already in VSS? I need the measurements, if possible, because it is not intuitive (or since we are just clueless).

    From my experience with RoboHelp and VSS, I found the following:

    Getting the initial copy of source control can be tedious, but not hard.
    Most likely, you have only the folder level higher because the "recurse" (or "recursive", I don't remember off the top of my head) check box has not been checked in vs.

    OK, I've created a document 162,7 "x 90.6" (work plan) for a design I design. The document was created using all the flaws - I think that's where I was wrong. Illustrator is now telling me that "the combination of the size of the work and the resolution exceeds the maximum that can be rasterized" after I opened the document and when I try to add a shadow to what whatever.

    Other than vector graphics, I created in illustrator, I only have 3 180ppi and 4 300 PPI pictures tranfered just behind the camera photograpers.

    I chose:

    1 "print document" in the initial startup window.

    2. I got the size of the artboard, purge and left control the 'pixelation effects' "high (300ppi).

    I think that to let the adjustment effects of pixelization at 300ppi, where is the problem.

    What I need to create a new document or I can fix it already exists?

    Illustrator is 32-bit only and is limited to 3 GB or RAM usage, it is more a limitation to a bug.

    Try opening it in Photoshop before you start all over, and then save it in psd or tiff.

  • Problem with encoding and charset for the download of a file

    I have a servlet that must do something and give to a log file to the end user. Coding the logic that took me about 5 minutes, the problem is that the given file shows correctly in Notepad (default application to open the txt files). I tried everything I read on the internet and absolutely nothing works.

    After that the challenging about 20 ways different fo do this without success, it's my actual code:

    This has nothing to do with the character sets and everything to do with windows line break conventions. Windows line break convention is "\r\n", and the notebook only includes this format.

    I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and after that activation done a clean install of it. The pilots detected Windows itself, but there are 2 unrecognized drivers. The PCI express called like that.

    It doesn't look like Word for Mac has the RTL support. See the first response to this which Hebrew fonts program works well on a mac - to write Hebrew texts or insert the Hebrew into English documents? post for some alternatives.

  • First 13 items: problem with transitions and vignettes for the film menu

    I've separated the scenes in my movie with the base transition fade - to-black, which works fine when I choose the centered option. Unfortunately, when using the automatic method of filling thumbnails of scene menu, the result is an all black image of the miniatures of the scene, that the initial image for each scene is completely black.

    When you double click on the menu, you will see an opportunity of 'compensation' 00; 00; 00; 00 in the marker dialog box.

    You can use it to change the thumbnail display corresponding to this menu marker while leaving the menu marker in its mounting location.

  • curious problem with extrusion and rotation

    I found a curious problem with extrusion and turn into the CS6. It's not a bug, but it's a behavior that is less intuitive who is confused and sometimes painful. I think it is something that should go on the list of tasks for the devs. Someone else, right? Don't agree?

    Example:

    I started with a path arrow, to which I applied the effect "extrude". I then put an icon on top of the arrow and grouped in the icon and the arrow. Now, I use this icon arrow in several different parts of my design, in different orientations. I flip the arrow, the relative position of the icon and the arrow seems to pass. I believe that this is happening because when you rotate the arrow icon, Illustrator rotates both the icon and the arrow on the center of the underside of the arrow. This is because the upper side of the arrow is essentially fictitious, just an artifact of the effect of extrusion. So, even if the icon appears as if it is drawn on the upper side of the arrow, it behaves as if it is attached to the underside of the arrow. When you apply a transformation, this transformation impacts on the underside of the arrow, causing the top of offset from the icon.

    The solution would be to add an extra box to the effect of extrusion, asking if you wanted to extrusion (the way things are currently done) upwards or downwards. If you can extrude downwards, then the upper side of the arrow would be the 'real' face, those affected by the changes. You can then put a picture on the top, the arrow and the image of the group, and when you apply a transformation, the icon would remain fixed relative to the top, which would be consistent with your intuitive expectations.

    It's about what you just mount the image with a transformative effect to match the extrusion.

    So basically, you apply a 3-d rotation effect to your image to match the rotation of your arrow, then you apply a transformation movement in the vertical axis to match the height of your extrusion.
