Mail PDF rotation

Hi, I'm under 10.11.3 on an iMac end of 2013

In Mail, when I attach a PDF file that has been rotated, mail shows the incorrect orientation for the canvas to the image, but the correct orientation of the image in the PDF, which causes the image to be cut and formatting in email is not ideal. I think that it is a problem associated with the Apple of recent changes made to the way in which he rotates the images in preview. Is there any fixes for this?

Hello melocolca,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see you're attaching a PDF file that was shot, and the attachment you see online in your email, does not turn properly.  For starters, if you send the email, it shows the right way?  When you attach the PDF or other image in the Mail files, you'll see appear as the default image.  How the recipient will see the attachment depends on their computer and settings.  You can simply right-click on the attachment and select display as icon.

Display attachments as an icon: control - click on an attachment, and then choose display as an icon in the shortcut menu.

Address postal (Yosemite): view, save or delete attachments

Take care.

  • Incorporating a completed PDF form as an attachment to an e-mail PDF

Is it possible to integrate a completed PDF form as an attachment to an e-mail PDF? The actors presenting the PDF can have Adobe Reader. I created a form, originally with Acrobat Pro 9.0, and then opened in LiveCycle Designer and added a button to send with the embed PDF option. It works fine for me, but not for someone else who tested it for me. Maybe because they don't have LiveCycle themselves? I read in some older forums on this issue and am rather confused as to whether it is still feasible for extraction of information from the general public. I am a newbie to forms and LiveCycle, sorry. I have a client who really wants a form is submitted in this way and I don't know what to tell them. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

First of all, you really have the wrong forum.  PDF Generator is the product side server that converts native files (Word, Excel, AutoCAD) in PDF.  You probably want the LiveCycle Designer forum.

Second, if you saved the file in LiveCycle Designer in PDF (as opposed to an XDP) then others will be able to open it as long as they have the free player.  To submit the data, however, you will need reader to extend the form.

Reader Extensions will allow users with the player free to do the things that they would normally require the complete to make Acrobat product.

You can apply Reader Extensions is using Acrobat (open your completed PDF and add them) or with the server, LiveCycle Reader Extensions ES product.  The main difference is the license (I think that Adobe limited users of Acrobat to 500 of the form).  The product side server has also some extensions that are not available with Acrobat.

  • E-mail .pdf attachment files will be open not [Android]

    Greetings,

I've reached the limits of my capacity for mutual assistance and, at the risk of giving more information than necessary, I ask for help.

I inherited an old, hand ASUS ME173X, HD - 7 tablet (Android Version 4.2.2) that I use for work.  In our office procedure, we have other people e-mail reports agencies us.  Get the emails very well, I'm not able to open attachments .pdf of enamel on the tablet.  I tried without success to the following:

    1. Open the attachment directly from the email by tapping it.
    2. Saved the file attachment / .pdf on the internal memory and tried to open it with the Adobe application.
    3. Saved the file attachment / .pdf on the external SD card and tried to open it with the Adobe application.
    4. Tried to open the file by using the file manager after you have saved the .pdf attachment.

In each case above, I get the following message:

    "Please wait...".

If this message is not subsequently replaced with the correct content of the document... "etc [he never]

I know that the attachments are generated with Adobe Acrobat 7 or higher, but isn't sure what version for each of them.

I could access the memory of the Tablet and SD card directly with my PC attached by USB and open these PDFs with Acrobat Pro 10, with no problems.  These are the same exact files of the tablet.  So I know that the files are not corrupt.  When I open the same email on my PC (MS Outlook), attachments open very well, so the problem seems to be with the tablet.

I uninstalled the software Acrobat Reader and re-installed several times.  I have the latest version of Acrobat Reader 15.2.1, build 122070.

I searched quite a bit for a few weeks and have found no solution.  I hope you can help me here.

    Thank you

    Bill

  • e-mail pdf

    Hello

I have adobe 9.5.5 pro and outlook 2010 on windows 7 pro

When I try to send a file to adobe pdf, I get the following

There is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot meet the demand for e-mail. Please run microsoft outlook and set it as default mail client.

Confirmed outlook is the default e-mail client. This error occurs on 2 of our PCs running the same version of outlook, windows, and adobe pro.

    Stuart

Good to know, it's that the product Acrobat 9.x family spent in middle of year "End of Support" 2013.

Yes, since what 9 "has it's all '9' will never be."

It may be less of a frustration to save the PDF file and then, while that in the e-mail client / web mail, attach the file to an e-mail message open.

    With this, 'send '.

    Be well...

  • Error e-mail PDF files

I can't send a 62 mb pdf. It looks like a small file, but are not yet sent when zipped. I use Outlook, but also sent the e-mail even directly connected to the server of the Internet service provider and sent an email with a gmail account. All said e-mail is not available. Help! What I am doing wrong?

    Hi David,

As you mentioned that you are not able to send 62 MB PDF file using your gmail account, please note that each e-mail services provider has a limit on the size of an attachment. Using Gmail, you can send messages up to 25 megabytes (MB) in size. Also, you may not be able to send large attachments to contacts who use the other email services with smaller attachment limits. For more information, you can check the link below:

    https://support.Google.com/mail/answer/6584?hl=en

You can reduce the size of the PDF file using the 'Size of reduction PDF' option under ' file--> save under ' in Adobe Acrobat and then try to send the file.

You can also use Adobe SendNow using which you can send a maximum file of 100 MB in size (for a free account). To learn more about Adobe SendNow, please see the link below:

    https://www.Acrobat.com/SendNow/en/home.html

For more information on the use of Adobe SendNow, refer to the link below:

    Anupam

    Hello anupam,

I know that it is a particularly old thread, but I thought that post the solution here for others who may have been looking around for a solution to this same problem and come across this thread.

As George said correctly there is a problem with the q unbalanced and Q operators. I recognize the provided piece of code, it is of course an excerpt of a generation such as FPDF, HTML2PDF or TCPDF class, the error occurs when the rotation is not returned to 0 before finalizing the document.

or you could use something like $pdf-> Rotate (270,60,50) or $this-> Rotate (270,60,50) where there are 270 = the degree of rotation, 60 = the coordinate x, 50 = the coordinate y.

Once you have finished writing all of your text, lines, images, you must make sure to reset the rotation of cells i.e. $pdf-> Rotate (0) before you view the PDF on the screen or save to a file.

Do you have Adobe Reader installed?
You need to open pdf files.
If you haven't, here's the download link: the program is free.
