  How do you have Movie Maker and what version is? I think that the new version 2.1 and it requires XP SP2. Make sure you have SP2 or a later version by right-clicking on my computer and choose Properties, then check the version in the general tab, under System.

  Go to the control panel and click on personalization.  Click on screen saver and then remove the tick "on resume, display logon".  Click on apply and then OK.
