make default Acrobat reader NOT

I just installed CD player and now when I "print" a document, it is by default the reader instead of Acrobat (which means that I can not add the logo, etc). How can I get the default characters of Acrobat? I have looked at the printer and Acrobat settings and impossible to find a choice. At this point, my option is to uninstall the CD player. Windows OS.

Make a right click any PDF file and select open with - choose default program... Then select Acrobat in the list and check the box to make it the new default application for this file type.

    Hello

Could a right click on the PDF file > open with > choose program by default and select CD player as default PDF Viewer.

You can do it from the control panel as well.

This would make CD player as default PDF Viewer.

Installation was immediately interrupted by this message:

"The installation failed. Not enough permissions to write to the disk.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Ned,.

You have any Adobe application installed on your system, if so please check the permissions for the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe (where ~ indicates your user directory).

Select the Adobe folder, right-click and choose "Get Info" from the menu, expand the sharing tab and Permissions at the bottom of the window and check that your user account has the permissions read & write.

If it doesn't matter what previous version of Adobe Reader is installed, uninstall it completely, restart your system & try to install Adobe acrobat reader Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader Distribution DCDC.

Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards

  • Acrobat - filling out forms, then sending as read only in Acrobat reader (not pro)

    Hello

I designed a pricing document in Acrobat Pro using form fields.

My question is, how do I send this to a member of my team to complete, and then allow them to send to a potential client with read only, so that the fields are not available? My team member must also Pro?

    Thank you very much

PDF forms can be filled in, saved and submitted using the free Reader software. You

    don't have Acrobat to do.

  • newly created pdf in acrobat reader not opening

I just rebuilt my machine after 6 years and now have the joyous task to remember how everything was resolved.  I have Acrobat 7 Pro and Reader 9 installed.  When I create a PDF file it will open in the reader instead of Acrobat which is the way it was before.  Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

Go to the tasks list and disable AcroRd32. Also, do a right click on a PDF file and select open with, then select Choose default program, select Acrobat. It will vary depending on your version of the operating system.

I use Windows 10 and when I install Adobe Reader Dc version 2015.009.20079 it is always default in Outlook as my email client. Before installing Adobe Reader, I have Outlook, but I uninstalled and installed Thunderbird before installing Adobe Reader. I checked all the settings of mail program electronic windows default 10 and all the file associations Windows 10 and they all seem fine. I tried to uninstall Acrobat Reader and reinstall, but it is always default to Outlook which is not yet on the machine...

I'm including dome screenshots. I read on the forums for similar problems and the given solution is to use the webmail, I prefer not to do so. Is there some registry setting or profile of the file I may have chan change to fix this?

  • I can't use the cloud of DC Acrobat. How to make a PDF of Acrobat Reader that does not use the cloud?

This is just about everything said.

I can't save sensitive departmental files on your cloud.

Even for the non-sensitive to PDF, I don't always have access to the cloud when I need to view or work with a PDF file.

I need a version of Acrobat Reader non-nuage.

When DC player installed on my system there is no breath XI player.

After uninstalling CD player, now I can't open/read a PDF file more.

Also, I can't find a copy of Adobe Acrobat to install which is not dependent on cloud.

It is a problem for me.

In addition to all this, NOW I get error messages whenever I try to reinstall the CD player.

    See below.

So today at work, I can longer open PDFs.

    Thank you? NOT!

More useful than Adobe so far.

Note: By clicking on the link below is immediately open the download dialog box.

    FTP://ftp.adobe.com/pub/Adobe/Reader/Win/10.x/10.1.1/en_US/AdbeRdr1011_en_US.exe

  • Acrobat Reader DC 2015.010.20060 - open default playback mode?

We have a number of employees who prefer to play for all of their PDF files. Is there a way to make this view the default when you launch Acrobat Reader DC? There may be a setting through preferences or customization of the installation? I am even happy by editing the registry if necessary. Please let me know if there is something we can do.

    Thanks for your help.

Not yet: but Ctrl + H is the shortcut key to get them to quickly and easily (Cmd + Ctrl + H on Mac).

  • I upgraded to Acrobat Reader and Acrobat is no longer default player.

    Using Windows 7
I recently updated my Acrobat Reader. Now Acrobat is no longer default PDF reader. None is in the default list of Control Panel.
    How to fix this.

    Thank you very much

    Robin Chapple

Right click on a PDF file and select Acrobat to open with, select by default here. You really should not have installed Adobe Reader also because of these problems. Make sure that you select AR for not having a part remain memory resident to accelerate the opening - it will open instead of Acrobat in this case. By them, there has been no Acrobat Reader from version 5. The name was changed to put an end to the confusion.

  • 30.0 Firefox do not use external Acrobat Reader

Can change the options for the inside or outside Adobe Acrobat. Makes no difference, I get an error message saying that my version of Acrobat Reader is too low. However, I use 11.0.7. This is what says Windows, and that's what Firefox said on the plugin.
But Adobe say that 11.0.7 can deliver this message to specific error, so Firefox does not use 11.0.7 even if he says it is.

Somehow the Player 9.5 and 11 have been installed. Even if Firefox stated that it would use v11, it used v9.5
