Make the text around a picture

I feel that I must be missing something really obvious here. I am currently having an image - floated left or right, with a large amount of wrapping text around it. Think of a long article with several paragraphs, you would find in a newspaper with the picture taken, say, 50% of the column. The text wraps next to the image and then expands to fill the width of the entire column, below the image. You see this on practically every existing site... and I can't figure out how do it in edge of reflow.

I was able to accomplish using the experimental regions CSS feature, but it seems horribly inefficient for such a simple task. So... am I missing something?

No worries. You cannot do using drag / move is not so obvious. The first step is to draw a rectangle, and then add an image at the top and then add a text box below that. You can set the width of the car, and it will fill the whole box.

After that, select the text and make it "float: none", set the margins to 0 and make sure that the clearer is none (no selected button).

The last step is to modify the image to float: right

That should do it. After that, you might want to transform a group of the div is easier to move whole. If you try to move the image or text to using drag / move, it is likely that the text will go down below the image again.

    You must place the image in the text box to wrap around him, or a heavier way test, you can use text several boxes and place them strategically around the image, but if you want to hyperlink the image you have to place it inside the text box and you can not overlap images and text in e-mail boxes.

    What you want to do is to set the text on a path.

    Draw a circle and type some text. Select both, and then go to the top menu
    bar - text > attach to path.

    Play with the settings in the property Panel to adapt it as you want.

    Do you need to do it for a lot of pictures?

    Look closely.  It should be under file > processing of multiple files.  Make sure you don't overwrite your original files.

    If a single file, make a copy of the file, create your image in a separate layer and reduce the opacity.  Then flatten image and save it.

    If you move the scroll wheel, and are now the CTRL key, you can change the zoom level of the page that is viewed - both in & out.

    I'm with you.  Cataract surgery, it will take longer, and the thin, plugged in my humble OPINION, typeface they chose is really for less than 40 eyes.

    The same "BOLD" of the police system capacity would be so appreciated.

    There are 3rd party apps that can change system fonts, and I saw messages claiming success, but I'm a purist to try.

    Small fonts (to us) make it very painful to be here.  I just hope they realize that our needs must be met, as well.

I'm on After Effects text animation and somehow I was able to make my text go forward and back (a bit like a sign that blows in the Breeze) for my first word, but now I'm not able to find this option more. Does anyone know how to make this happen? I thought that's the direction that I think is supposed to happen when you use the rotation mode but all I have is the ability to rotate.     If you want to animate the characters, you can use the animate (more on this subject further in my post)

    There is also an option to set the path to a text layer (Adobe programmers - why not the forms too?)

    and you can do cool things with him.

    Here are some examples of a big project that I made using the Ae text engine and everything I could:

    Path, 3D, 32 Bit, plugins 3rd party, all sorts of things to make the text feel more organic. lots of manual work

    Text in Ae like most everything - needs study and practice. It is not that intuitive. There are a lot of settings and fiddle with the settings in the timeline is not so comfortable. even that forms.

    using the presets is a good starting point sometimes (once you have read the help files). You can choose a preset and click on UU and study it and change it to your needs.

    When you start a text layer, you can click on the color box of text at the top that will launch the color picker (text) and from there you can select your desired color.  -See the attachments-
