Managed server starts once the root directory specified.

Friends,

I am facing a problem when you start the managed server. I've specified the directory root as/var/opt/bea / < DomainName > / < servername > tab to start server in the administration console. I kept running node Manager.

My env details are as below:

BEA HOME page: / opt/bea

AREAS of DIRECTORY: / opt/bea/areas / < DomainName >

Once I start the server managed from the administration console, the node Manager log becomes with the message as below:

< 04/08/2010 01:00 > < WARNING > < error e/s while reading the directory in the domain: java.io.FileNotFoundException: domain directory "/ var/opt/bea/wl_da_ma_b/wl_ma_mab_0101 ' invalid (field not found salt file) >

Please help me on this issue. Am I'm missing anything here.

Thanks in advance

In fact up to 7,0 WLS wls always used to create the domain within the BEA dir install dir only.
but we can specify the directory of area outside the facility of dir BEA WLS 8.1.
It's the only relevance for the different directory for a domain you can specify the domain root dir anywhere on the file system.

Now the root directory server the only relevance to the root directory of the server is different from the root dir field is when you have your domain distributed on different machines.
For example: If you have a domain with a server and administrator on a Machine and a server run on the B Machine.
Then you can't have root directory of the managed server, the directory of the domain as the root directory of the domain will reside on computer A and Managed Server Root Dir will reside on the Machine B.

And if you start the managed using the node Manager server and that you have not specified that the directory root of the Managed Server through the java_option then by default the root directory of the managed server will be created with in the nodemanager/common/WLS_HOME directory on computer B.

And if you managed servers in different domains on the same Machine B therefore all managed servers by default their directories root within the nodemanager dir which will make it difficult to recognize what managed server belongs to what field.

Therefore, it is always recommended to have specific server root directories if the field is distributed on several machines.

Hopefully this will clear your queries.
Thank you
Sandeep

  • Try to change the root directory in built-in Server

I run the server integrated into ColdFusion 9 to test a web site that I am building. My site is located in a subfolder of the folder wwwroot directory ColdFusion9 (C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\Everett\*). I try to use links relative to the root, but I would like that they refer to this directory, not the wwwroot directory. For example, I would like the link "/ index.cfm" to open the C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\Everett\index.cfm as opposed to C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\index.cfm. It is my understanding that this is possible through the virtual mapping.

I added this code in the jrun - Web.xml file in the WEB - INF directory:

    <>virtual-mapping

    > resource path < / * < / resource-path >

    < path system - > C:/ColdFusion9/wwwroot/Everett / < / path system >

    < / virtual mapping >

Then I moved folders CFIDE and cfdocs in the Everett subfolder.

Then I restarted the ColdFusion server.

Now I get the following error message:

When I go to http://localhost:8500 / I can see all of the appropriate files and directories, so I can see that the root directory has been changed, I'm simply not view any document.

    Any thoughts?

    Jeremy

HA! I don't know why it works now, but it does. Alexander, I tried your method and it did not work, but then I moved the directory WEB - INF back to wwwroot and he's fine now. For those keeping score at home, here's what I've done with:

        /*

        C:/Web_Sites/Everett2

        /WEB-INF

        C:/ColdFusion9/wwwroot/WEB-INF

        /CFIDE

        C:/Web_Sites/Everett2/CFIDE

As I said, I don't know why it didn't work the first couple attempts, but it works now and I guess that's all that matters. Thanks for all your help!

  • you have to copy a file to the root directory...

IM using winscp to copy a netapp host utility, but it must be copied into the directory "root" and run it from that directory.

Of course, using winscp, as I can only log in with a user account that I created in esx and not root. How to copy a file to the directory root?

That's what the Solution says to do, does that mean that I have to copy the files in the root directory?

ESX host utilities install script fails when it is called in 'su' environment

    Keywords: VMware ESX host utilities

    Solution

Utilities of the host needs to the environment of the root, or by logging in as "root" or by switching to the root with su - environment

Installing the utilities of the host in the root environment by running the command: su -

You can use root - as long as you allow root ssh access - what is advised.

Another alternative is to download Veeam FastSCP (free) and use it - with this you can authenticate with your user account non-root, but you can elevate your privileges specifying the root account. It is the method and the tool I use. You'll have to excuse my lack of terminology Linux

  • Get file metadata or the record broken for the root directory

I used this method to get the metadata from the a site's root directory, it worked last week and now it has stopped working access to the root directory only, other directories are very good.

    http://docs.BusinessCatalyst.com/dev-assets/reference#! / api-settings/system/get-file - folder - info.html

    Navigate to the root directory

    "/ api/v2/admin/sites/current/storage /? meta' - used to work (now get a 403 Forbidden error)

    "/ api/v2/admin/sites/current/storage/images /? meta'-(par exemple) works very well.

Please fix it as soon as POSSIBLE.

Hot-patch has been deployed successfully, the problem should now be resolved.

Description number, I want to know if can delete files as Setup.ini, install.log, etc.

I suggest you not to remove all the files in the root of the drive because they are system files and they are necessary for windows works properly.

  • argument null for classes starting managered Server start

We have a cluster Weblogic 10.3.5 environment. the environment seems to work very well. I am able to have servers (Admin and managed) and deployed applications that run without any problem. However, I just noticed, every time when I run servers Managered, I got the following in the system log. It seems that they are the classes start, but with the null argument. Are they normal or not?

    Hi John,.

It's Ok. These are only information messages. THERY are not warnings or errors, so nothing to worry.

If the classes are called arguments null and no exception is thrown, and then is means that the class is able to have a null argument, so nothing to worry about again.

  • Problem with my file in the SupportVIs directory found deployment package and not the Destination directory specified

I have a little problem with a package of teststand.  I wrote a few screws to provide a wrapper around a custom DLL to provide the error handling. These screws use the following call library functions as indicated below.

After installing my application, some of my screws are my DLL custom in the correct destination directory and other parts that are in the Directory Support screw which creates the deployment. The problem is that the DLL must be installed in a specific directory, because it uses the other files that are in this place-related directories.

Currently I work around this problem by running the installer, and then manually delete the DLL to the folder of the SupportVIs dirctory.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?.

    Hey,.

So, what seems to happen, is that your VI sees that DLL as a dependency and wants to keep with her VI.  I can't find a way to the deployment tool to do what you ask, however, here are two ideas that could solve your problem in other words.

Do you need to have your DLL in the precise place?  If this is not the case, why not in your VI on your call library function, check specify a path on the chart.  Then, on your diagram, you generate a path relative to the location of the VI.  In this way, it's okay if your DLL is located in the support of screw

Another idea would be after that installation is created, you can create a batch file that runs the installation and then automatically delete the DLL support VI place.
