management of client and remote desktop color

After searching on Google I found nothing relevant. Anyone has any information on the use of ps cs5 in win7 using ms rdp client for mac? What monitor profiles on both ends to get the right color? Have win7, linux, and mac computers, but because there is limited space on my desk, I use different rdp clients to connect to these computers rather than cables. 100mbit lan works fairly quickly to edit an image in ps cs5 on win7 on an amd quad core mac. But what to fix for win7 remote like monitor profile and in mac of course use mac created by basICColor profile-specific. Does it really matter has what profile win7? Don't know rdp enough, but it would be nice if the remote sends only the raw data.

Thanks for any info

DRC does not as far as I know color management - I think use the display for the target computer profile (that carries out the treatment, not the one displaying the result).

  • Chess FIPS and Remote Desktop connection

I currently enabled FIPS compatible algorithms on my network.  All our machines are running the highest connection Office remotely.  This seems to be very well on servers but trying to control remote in all clients mainly (using Windows XP, but I also if this problem on Windows 7 as well) it fails.  I did all the tests and I can isolate it specifically to the active FIPS policy.  What can I do to get Office remotely functional again on my clients?  So far the only thing work is to temporarily disable the FIPS and then I can remote into the machines again?  I really want to keep the FIPS enabled for its security, but if it's going to inhibit remote desktop it's going to be a major problem.  Thanks in advance to anyone who can solve this problem!

  • How to connect the local and Remote Desktop (Android OS) application simultaneously without one shot the other in the login screen?

I want to connect to my local office via the remote desktop connection, but keep both connected at the same time without being local or remote kicking each other in the bridge/connection between the two. I tried to download and patch the termsrv.dll using UniversalTermsrvPatch - x 86 .exe for Windows Xp 32-bit SP3 compatibility. But still... Settings app may prevent 2 to be connected at the same time? If so could Microsoft please update their app. Any suggestions...

  • setting up office and remote desktop

After that I have use remote layout on my PC desktop (my workstation is configured as my server for remote desktop access) becomes blurred.  the width of the start bar is shortened, the icons are rearranged and applications that I keep on the second monitor are moved to the primary monitor.

while I am connected to my workstation, or if I only access the files so I do not run Remote Desktop, the arrangement is never altered.

This is probably because the screen resolution was changed when the remote desktop connection via.  If you right click on your desktop and select 'Screen Resolution' change for something small (or other) like 800 x 600, you'll probably see the same effect as blurs Windows to rearrange the icons so that they fit on the desktop.

When you run the Remote Desktop of the remote computer application

    (Start-> all programs-> Accessories-> Remote Desktop connection)

until you click on the 'Connect' button, click on the button 'Options', then select the 'View' tab and ensure that the resolution of the screen in the box "Display Configuration" corresponds to that of the computer target.  Click on the button "use" all of my monitors... If the serving machine has more than one monitor and therefore not the machine connection.  Otherwise, the connection will look like a single monitor and everything on the 2nd computer monitor host will be re-arranged to the monitor so that you can see all of the icons of the remote connection.

  • Using desktop remotely, I try to print on a printer different computers by the server and remote desktop. Does not

With Server 2003, when you remotely connected with office, you could share your printers with everyone who has logged on to the server with the Office remotely and printed at the printing house they shared.  If the server had 10-12 different printers to that we could print.

With 2012 the only printers that one session on the server is its own and the printers installed on the server.  We must be able to log in to the computer 1, with Imprimante1 and printing to the printer on computer 2, through desktop connection remote.

Someone has suggestions I can see 2 printer who has logged the server with 1 computer?

Oh, using the boxes of windows 7

  • Clients of remote desktop in Windows XP Professional

Hello - the situation I describe is very strange and somewhat reproducible in my environment. Really I am looking for the elements to look and see if anyone else has experienced this problem.

When you are in a session of the Bureau (specification of environment at the end of this post) and you start the desktop connection program remote (Version 6.1.7600 RDP 7.0) you connect to a server using RDP. In our environment, the servers are Server 2003 or 2008. If you do not have capital letters or special characters (! @# $% ^ & *) your password so this issue does not affect you. However if you do not have capital letters and/or symbols then this problem usually affects you. What happens is that you type your password as usual, but it will not let you on the server - it will show you your password or user name is incorrect. If you type really slowly, now the SHIFT key for longer than 1 second before hitting the combination key, then it will normally leave you.

It feels almost as if there is a delay of keyboard with the SHIFT key, but only in the RDP program window. If you type your password in Notepad then it turn out very well. Also, once you are on the remote server, there is no keyboard lag. In fact you don't see any shift of the keyboard when you type the password in the password box, but you cannot verify that the characters are accurate because of the mask of password.

I never noticed this problem before because my passwords were still tiny with numbers. A new user in our environment is one that for the first time the question because his password has the symbol @.

    Any ideas?

Environment: View 4.01 with Windows XP Professional x 86 infrastructure related clones. Not persistent.

    Thank you

  • Using the ThinApp sandbox and Remote Desktop Services drive

Hi, we test how thinapp works on our server terminal server with a few thousand users. There seems to be an option for save the disc space in the .ini file, but still the sandbox would use lot of disk space, when there are many thinapped programs? Is it possible to use the sandbox shared on a network drive, or what is the best option to save precious space on the server?

    Thank you!

Having the sandbox located on a network share will save everything you do Sandbox at this place and so not to save what anyone in the user profile... But again, everything depends on methods of insulation...

  • screen resolution of the remote desktop: fonts and icons of the remote desktop window are so small they can barely read.

    Remote Desktop screen resolution

I've recently upgraded to a Windows 7 laptop from a computer in Office XP.

On my old machine, I use a VPN clent and Remote Desktop connection to use my work computer (my company uses XP on their machines).  If I try to connect from my computer Windows 7, fonts and icons of the remote desktop window are so small they can barely read.  Change display options in the settings of remote desktop doesn't affect the size of the window, not the resolution.

It is a problem because I am stuck using my old system to work remotely.

    Any ideas?

All you have to do is to reduce the resolution of the screen that you use to connect to your Remote Desktop Session.  More the higher resolution and the characters will be on your screen, and when you connect to Remote Desktop.  In my case, I lowered the resolution of my screen to the House for the resolution of the screen in my office.  It works perfectly.  To reduce the resolution follow these steps:

    1. click on start

    2. click on Control Panel

    3. under appearance & personalization - click on adjust screen resolution.  You may get a message indicating that your resolution is not at the optimum, but don't worry you will still be able to see the letters on your screen.
