When I'm on, I would like to connect and have what I need, and then disconnect. Sorry for the reference, but as I do on my Google account. Connect when I want and then disconnect. They are free to use FF, as I do, without being prompted for my password.

  You will always have the only one ASM Instance running in one machine. Because for example in two node RAC database cluster, you need to ASM1 on node 1 and ASM2 on node 2. You cannot have more then an instance ASM running on a computer. ASM can manage n number of database instances and all these databases to connect/application instance to instance single asm.

  Its better to have the single user OS for all 3 data bases. If yo have different DBA management different database, so you can have different user OS (different roles). But alone is OK you only manage all.

  Now come to oracle - its better to have a different welcome for each oracle database (of course asm House will be different in all cases) for purposes of management/availability/patch. For example homes have different oracle will avoid affecting all other databases, if something does not go in patching.
  Another example would be if you want 1st fix database and other 2 database can remain online if you have homes different oracle.

  I am a devoted Adobe user and have been since 1990. I understand that all businesses to make money. In my Adobe CS3 Master Collection, there are 10 products, as well as some added by products. I also use Autodest 3ds Studio Max hook with me now. 3ds Max has withstood the test of time because it is a program that does it all. There is so much replication in Adobe products, as it took more than Macromedia. Why is that still necessary if you have Premier Pro. And why, After Effects, Flash movies, why contribute if you have Dreamweaver. Photoshop is still the only program which seems to stand alone and Illustrator. Combine them, costs 5 or 6 thousand and I'll buy. I paid 5000 for 3ds Max and worth every penny, and I never let new version passes without upgrading to it.

  Is the number of '15000' you see on a black background with the logo of Windows on it? If Yes, then it is just part of the update process. It refers the number of files that are being updated on your system. Normally you would see that the screen but if your computer installs updates, then is not a good stop to install (for example: If you a loss of power or power off your computer), then you will see this screen with the black background, the next time that you start.

  There should not be any cause for alarm, especially if your update history shows the updates installed successfully.
