Matching 6 laptop

My attempts to pair my IPhone 6 more for my laptop HP Bluetooth have been in vain. Is this possible?

If you try to pair for file transfer, you cannot. Otherwise, please explain what you are trying to accomplish.

"Hold down the power button / stop" method.

    I have clues:

    1. I remember when I received the laptop, he would always sparkle in exactly the same way when a charger that has been plugged in was too weak (can leave message too low) and change the charger always fixed.

Now I still have the same charger (I have 3 hp and 1 dell Chargers at home that match my laptop) and none of them seem to be "pretty" (x 2 65w 1 x 60w and 120w x 1).

Sorry for the wall of text, I tried to make it easy to read

    Hi wallyson691,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using the forum, it's a great place to find answers. You have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

No need to apologize for the amount of text.  It is always better to have too much information then is not enough.

It is very useful during validation to include your exact model of HP laptop and the operating system you are using.  How can I find my model number or product number?

I noticed that you have a flickering screen problem and you have successfully updated the drivers but it has not fixed the problem.

When you have uninstalled the Ati Radeon HD5850 the problem disappeared.

You had this problem before, and it was linked to the power.  You have tried different adapters but no change.

Have you tried a different outlet?

You did all your Windows updates?

Have you tried HP Support Assistant to help with updates and issues running?

Did you run MS fix to try to solve the problem?

Here is a link to the display quality problemsthat can help.

If you think it may be a conflict in the origin of the problem, you can try using Microsoft System Configuration (Windows 7) to find out what is the cause.

I would like to start a test of material just to rule out this possibility.  Test of hardware failures (Windows 7, Vista)

You could try a restore to where he worked, using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7)

You can try to install the original driver to see if it helps. Using the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7)

You can consider to recover to factory.

Performing a recovery of system HP (Windows 7)

During the recovery process, you will receive a prompt to back up personal files to avoid loss.

Restore files that have been supported to the top using HP Recovery Manager (Windows 7)

    I hope this helps.

  • Optical drive for Satellite P10 554

    Hello!

I need to replace the DVD burner for my SP10-554 (PSP10E-00NK5-GR model number). Which drives should I use?
I don't have a DVD burner, a CD burner will do for everyday...

    Thanks for your replies!

    Martin

    HI Martin,

If you replace your CD player because of an error, then it is probably better to replace it with a similar model. This way you can be assured that it will be fully compatible.

However, you can replace your optical drive with a variety of other brands as long that you choose one that is specifically for portable use. These are usually referred to as 'slim' or 'slimline '. You may find that some components, such as the collar do not exactly match your laptop.

Drivers tend to be fairly generic Windows XP, but you may need to download additional drivers if you want to use DVD-RAM discs.

Toshiba to adapt different brands in their notebooks (Mat * a, TEAC, Toshiba, etc) then you a reasonable range from which to choose.

Try Googling for the appropriate players. Prices vary slightly.

  • New DVD drive not recognized on my Satellite Pro 4600

    Hi all

I recently bought an engraver of DVD in NEC ND-6650 nine.
This drive is NOT recognized by my Satellite Pro 4600 at all - neither Windows 2000 nor in the BIOS (v 2.60). BIOS updates higher than the 2.60 version are not provided.
Does that mean I can forget about using the new writer in my old notebook?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Nils

    Hi Nils,

I suspect that your new drive may be not be compatible with your laptop. Like all scanners to your new drive will be configured as slave or master (or CSEL possible), and this configuration should match your laptop.

Usually your hard drive is configured as master on IDE channel 0 with optical drive is the slave on the same channel device. However, you may find that your optical drive is configured as master on the IDE 1 channel.

Normally the setting is preconfigured by the manufacturer so you will need to check both the conficuration of your new drive and the configuration of your original drive to make sure they are the same.

    Kind regards

  • Satisfied by Epox BT BT-DG06B and Satellite M70-144

    Hello!

I bought the Epox bluetooth dongle. It also manages the bluetooth version 2.0 and 30 metres range.
I use it via battery Microsoft BT who was already installed by default on my laptop Satellite m70-144.

I think that my BT is not compatible with the Toshiba BT stack, or? Why should I use some other stack as stack windows? Are there differences between the batteries?

Can I use my Nokia 6260 as a modem via BT. that was what I wanted.

First of all, I tried to install software from toshiba is delivered with epox adapter but failed every time to install on my computer toshiba laptop. He was unable to install all the drivers and Setup was a loop... I also tried the most recent software (downloaded from www epox site) but the same effect.

Really amazing was that this installation has worked well with my laptop to another, but not with Toshiba.

By the way could someone tell me what is PAN and why should I use?

    Hello Vincent

In my opinion, you can use what you want, and no one forced to use software from Toshiba. If you want you can use the battery Windows BT.

I have Motorola mobile phone and use the Toshiba BT software. It works perfectly. The configuration is pretty easy.

With PAN (or maybe PIN) number you average on key to past of identification for matching between laptop and mobile phone?

  • Satellite P35 - overheating?

    Hello

I will write in English, while most of you will understand me. I recently bought a computer laptop p35, 3.2 GHz p4 mobile, widescreen 17 '', 1 GB RAM, ATI mobility radeon 9700 ect graphics card.

It works very well. I use it as a desktop replacement, and sometimes I play the game. When I play the game for more information, and then 40 minutes, I think that the system is overheated, the video because all mixes ect. So I press the windows button and wait a while. Then I click on the game on the bar start and I can play again until 5-10 minute later the same thing. It is an overheating problem. Only when I play the game for so long, sometimes.
I don't know what overheats, the CPU or GPU. I think that the GPU, because of the video, and if it was the CPU the system will re-start off o Hang I think.

I have tested with all profiles (full power...) all the same. How can I make the video better cooling?

I read on some extra cooling for notebook computers by placing a cushion with about 2 fans under the laptop. Does that help? You know a model for a computer 17 "widescreen laptop? It is approximately 43 x 29 cm. If most of them do not match the laptop.
    Any help would be welcome,

    Bye,.

    Atam

    Hello

I'm not sure it's an overheating problem.
They way I see it, is that if there is a problem of overheating you should have a distorted, even when you return to the game Windows. It can still be a heat problem, but I've got a beliving he.

Your question about the pads - I think that if you need to clean the PC on a flat surface you don't need keys. He has already fairly high feet itself so I think he gets the air flow, he needs, if the air inlet not got blocked by dust or so.

My suggestion to your gambling problem, try to look for a newer videodriver or verify knowledge of the gamecreator and videomanufacturer databases. They could have reported this problem and might have a fix for this.

Again it may be a problem of related material (overheating or malfunction) of course but the best way to start troubleshooing and most likely to succeed is to start with the software.

    Good luck

  • Update BIOS for Satellite M205-S4806 for install XP

    Hello

    I have a laptop M205-S4806 Satellite with Win Vista & BIOS 2.10.
I wanted to format the drive and install Win XP. However, the BIOS does not detect HARD drive when you insert a CD Win XP.

I need to upgrade the version of the BIOS? If so, could you please send me the download link that I couldn't find a good match for laptop Sat M205.

In addition, anyone know if XP is compatible with the model above.

    Appreciate your help.

    Thank you
    Renu

The fact is that you have a model of cell phone US and everything you need you can find in http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_home.jsp

There you can select your model laptop and see what Toshiba offers. You'll find BIOS update 1.8 with support for Windows XP Home edition. Updating the BIOS will not help solve this problem with disk HARD invisible but you need this update of the BIOS for the full support of Windows XP Home edition feature.

For the installation of Windows XP Home edition, you need SATA driver. Click on the link posted by the previous user.
Just one last thing: for WXP installation using Windows XP Home with SP2 integrated.

    Good luck!

  • Check the recovery disk?

    Hello

I got a restore CD that doesn't seem to match my laptop. Y at - it no way to verify what machine is a recovery with a specific reference number disc for?

    Mine says: GMR400864EN0

There is also another number at the bottom of the saying of the label: CD 5 124753, but it is probably the earlier that counts.

    Thank you!

    Hello

It of not possible to check what recovery disk corresponds to what laptop.

But you can ask a service provider authorized to do this. Maybe the technicians know that if this is the right number for your laptop model.
If you call them it only takes a few minutes ;)

  • New HDD for Satellite 1800-100

    Hello.

I need a new hard drive for my satellite 1800-100, but I do not know which one to buy. All disks I found to date are the IDC standards 40 pins and ATA 100-133. They match my laptop? Help, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Kurt,.

The best option is to check your hard disk for its model number. Then, you can Google for it to find its exact specifications and the purchase of a drive that is.

This probably isn't a very profitable upgrade. The cost of a new systemboard that matches your laptop is likely to be more than half of its current value.

  • May just help some...

I recently bought a plug XPS 18 AIO who arrived from Dell with a load of Windows 8 generic factory.  The SSD of 32 GB has been also shaped as a regular reader of NTFS and appears in Explorer as just another drive (D to be exact).  I knew from working with my ultrabook Inspiron 15z (which has the same characteristics of exact material of 8 GB of memory and 32 GB mSATA SSD) that it was not good.  The system ran also exceptionally slower than my laptop so I knew it wasn't good.  After reading THIS thread ad nauseam as well as many others on the canvas, I was able to set up a process that works for me every time as the SSD of 32 GB and get the Intel Rapid Start/Storage works as it should after a reset (which does NOT recreate the correct configuration for the cache drive) or where the SSDS failed and had to be replaced.  I spent hours on the phone with Dell support and never solved.

The following steps are what I did to make it work properly.  Please note that some of the things that I here directly in contradiction with what some of the technicians here have posted so proceed as needed.  But just know that unless I did these steps exactly, I never could get everything right to reflect the settings of my laptop and everything works as it should get configuration.

These steps assume also that you have previously used a command line.  I have also downloaded the specific versions of the software Intel on the Intel site to match my laptop instead of using what was available for my Dell system, which, incidentally, was very old versions of the software.

1 remove all partitions on SSD cache drive using any use you want.  I used the Windows Disk Manager.  DO NOT RECREATE all the partitions on the SSD of 32 GB with Windows disk management or Diskpart to this point or it won't work.   I don't have to disable all settings in the BIOS either.  All Intel, UEFI, safeboot, etc. associated with settings in the BIOS have been activated while I was setting this up.  My system was completely the default settings in the BIOS.   ALSO uninstall all software technology Intel Rapid that you may have installed on the system before proceeding.  Restart after an uninstall to make sure everything is cleaned up.

2 open a command - CMD prompt window

    3. Type "Diskpart" (must use it to use parameters when you create the hibernation partition)

    4. in Diskpart: (in this example, my 32 GB SSD drive was drive 1.  Yours may vary)

    list disk

    Select the disk 1 (SSD)

partition list (there should be none)

create partition primary size 8192 set id = 84 overload (I have only 8 GB of system memory)

    output

In Windows Disk Manager, you should now see a 8 GB partition "hibernation" with the rest of the unformatted drive AND NO DRIVE LETTER ASSIGNEE.

5 reset (CRITICAL or you get the dreaded this system is not compatible with this...) When you try to install the Intel software)

    6. install Intel Rapid Start software FIRST (I used version 3.0.0.1053 directly from Intel)

After installation, open the program and make sure that everything is 'on' and the timer cursor inside is set to "0".

    7 reboot

    8. install Intel Rapid Storage Software (I used version 12.8.0.1016 directly from Intel)

    9 reset.

10 open the Rapid Storage software and 'enable acceleration '.

Choose "Entire disk" instead of custom or 18.6.  When I chose 18.6 or tried to enter 8192 in the custom field, it never worked right.

The software must now create two partitions in raid 0 GB 8 and 22.  By Dell card on my laptop which also has this technology, I've renamed Raid 0 of 8 GB "FFS" partition and the partition of 22GB "Dev_Cache".

    9 reboot

At this point, everything worked as expected.  If you open the Windows Disk Manager, you should see is no longer the mSATA SSD.  After using the system for a few minutes and then restarted once more, the XPS 18 is at least as fast as my laptop and everything works as expected.
