  PARK style of paragraph for a moment, go to the style of CHARACTERS assigned to the dropcap letter and look at the options. Look at the color of the text and see if it is red or not.

  Hi all

  IM using BasicEditField that I need to enter the characters in all CAPITALS, so I used the "BasicEditField.FILTER_UPPERCASE" style, when I did I was able to enter the uppercase characters, but I'm not able to enter the SPACE.  I travel in Virtual_KEY_BOARD in the space key is disabled.

  Same BasicEditField.FILTER_UPPERCASE | "BasicEditField.FILTER_DEFAULT" is also down. So how to get there, one guide me.

  I am currently using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 and my client asks that I resize a control selectManyChoice in height.

  I tried to adjust af. selectManyChoice::control (since I noticed that it's the real selector which makes resizing) to 30px, but nothing happened. Then I tried change it Firebug, and still it didn't work. Inside the firebug, that I also tried to add a padding of 20px and only resized my component. However, applying this exact same padding (with! important) in my css file does not modify this component at all.

  I also applied this padding to af. selectManyChoice::dropdown and af | selectManyChoice::content and it worked.

  My question is why when I apply the same style to the FA. selectManyChoice::control it does not work.

  Originally, I created an iframe which worked perfectly.  The iframe is designed in Muse, then iframed page above, but I won't do that now as it seems better to have the actual content on the page instead of an iframe.

  So I've been playing with CSS in DW and the only thing I can't understand is how I would do this bigger box on the right (the one called projects close to home) to be a broader area, as seen in the image above and then get the 2 small boxes below it?  I'm obviously not very well with a style and CSS is what I met as a roadblock.

  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

  All you need is something like this-

• Matter of style table of contents

  I work to convert my book to an ePub.

  So, I created a new style of table of contents to pick the chapter number and title of the chapter on level 1.

  But the new style of table of contents appears only as an option with my OCD open doc. The new style does not appear as an option in the chapter of my book files.

  Is there a way to make the new style of table of contents available when you open an another doc in my book?

  

  Well Yes, simply change the source to the TOC doc. If you have synced before styes, they should all be the same with the exception of the new, but if not, you should take a source that has the defs you want used through the book and sync with first, then resysnch using the table of contents to get the style added to the book.

  I'm still relatively new to HR. I have Word documents with a fairly clean styles model (used previously with Doc-to-Help); I used the Word doc to generate HR for HTML pages.
  
  I found that in addition to the styles in the generated CSS files (_ns.css < Filename > and < Filename > .css), there were models in the area of the head of the generated HTML page. For example:

  From what I can tell, these additional styles add borders and background color of table cell.
  
  If I add the specificities of these styles in the CSS file, which will work to ensure that HR does not these styles on the fly? The news of TD isn't the problem (even if it is used throughout of the RFSO; it's the backstory for the legends of Note and tip); the DIV is the addition of a style that I don't want... and I don't want to have to manually edit each page with a level 2 heading (which is what corresponds to this DIV!).

  By experimenting with the importing Word documents in RH8 (you didn't what HR version you use), I found that any time that I imported a Word document with styles that included borders, HR transformed, who in a div.

  Work on an ongoing project where you need printed as output HTML help? If so, I suggest you author in HR, and then output to the layout of a single source of printed Documentation. In this way, you can specify title without borders styles in your CSS, and then, when you export to Word, you can map Word styles that have borders. RH8 has the mapping improved style feature, but you may be able to do work as you want if you are using an earlier version.

• Default fonts to 50 points when you apply a paragraph style

  I ran into this many times.  To update a file, InDesign from a previous version (now using CS5) when I apply a paragraph style, the default font is 50 points no matter the style settings.  Is it possible to avoid this.  Currently, I copy and paste the chart into a new file and have to set the text.  If I copy some old text, it causes the same problem.

  Most of our text is copied and pasted from Microsoft Word (old version and new text changes), however, the text that was already in the document and the new text both do the same thing when a style is applied.

  Your styles are based on standard paragraph, or is it an applied character style? If so, check to see if any of them have 50 as the size.

• Problems first withdrawal line

  I'm new to Indesign... as likely to become immediately obvious.

  I want to create a withdrawal of first line of each paragraph.

  I go to my paragraph configuration and enter the appropriate amount (. 375).

  My problem is that I can't make universal... I have to go to each paragraph and reset

  I should add that I'm 'making' text files .docx in a new document.

  I tried to place the document, then together as the dash - and I have tried to set the indent, then place the document... or works well.

  I would like to start a new document, type of font set, size, etc. and then "place" of my text and do it according to my every wish and desire.

  1. Make the changes to a single paragraph that you want to have.
  2. Go to window > Styles > paragraph style.
  3. Click the new Style button, name it.
  4. Select all text with the formatting, and click the style name.

  Create for no matter what style of paragraph. Make sure to start with a basic style and any other function. It allows to perform quick changes anywhere in the document.

  Why was this doen? You need the JDK from 8 types of functional interface? What is always optional and strongly discouraged?

  It is true that using "public" and "abstract" on the declarations of interface method is no longer the preferred form, I see that the real source code contains these modifiers! The executable is a very old interface. It was introduced before the JDK 1.0 and indeed that these lines has not changed since its first archived before the JDK 1.0 release. I suspect that Simon may have simply copied this statement directly from source code.

  Im just kill a cat with curiosity here, but through JavaScript reference guides for other applications (ID), I noticed that they use...

  I can't remember seeing this in any of the samples or help I received here and Im wondering why? Is this something that is better suited to other applications? IM almost always work with the app or a reference to the activeDocument. IM thinking this makes it much easier on the eyes by looking at the syntax. Those of you with a lot more experience I do not appear to do this it is more a matter of style and it won't cause problems more further down the line or are there any pitfalls to avoid that I can't see yet? Perhaps scriptlistener?

  If we can define where conditions in the main SQL statement, then it is purely a matter of style if you want to use questioning or not.
  Sometimes, it is more difficult to do everything in a single query.
  It is sometimes impossible.

  Stop using the USE_ALL_HEIGHT - this style is what he says, after your first VFM is laid out there is no place for the second.

  If you just drop the bit style you may still not luck, though - if there is enough fields added to the Senior Manager, for example. If you consider the result screen you have in mind and post your thoughts here, people here might be more accurate.

  I'll give an example, assuming you want the screen divided into two halves - top and bottom, which might be scrollables. Note that USE_ALL_HEIGHT is very good in this case because you override sublayout():

  Such a manager will use exactly half the height as him. I added a VERTICAL_SCROLL because you might want to put more fields here that would fit.  Make sure that your mainManager does not that the little (VERTICAL_SCROLL) style and your screen (if you use) is created with the explicit NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL.

  Also note that I replaced the painting with paintBackground - just a matter of style, but a cleaner way to do however.

• How to recreate this photo with my own photos using layers?

  

  Quick steps:

  • Import all the images that you plan to use in your document. (You can start with a background set size if you do not have to worry about that later.) Place all these images together in a single document. (There are at least two ways to do this). One way is to open an image, then use the file > Place incorporated (if you use Photoshop CC) to place the images in the document.
  • Start thinking about how you want to composite the images together. Layers of work in a hierarchy or an "order"; a layer in the layers panel at the top is the most visible, unless the masks are applied. So you will want to probably the perfect sky and landscape at the bottom, while keeping the full swing golfer at the top. This composite data looks like maybe total 6 layers: 5 of the golfer at various stages of his swing, the background 1.
  • To begin, turn off all the layers but the background and the image of swing of the individual golfer that you want to work. What you'll want to do is select the golfer using the selection tools, and while the selection to a mask using the layer > layer mask > reveal Selection (or use the button at the bottom of the layers panel, looks like a rectangle with a circle inside).
  • The main thing is that you are now allowed to non-destructively "hide" or "hide" in any part of the image using the layer mask using tools like the Brush tool. Work of masks by using the grayscale values: black Total means total concealment of the content of this layer. Total white means reveal total content of this layer. Anything between the two as gray translates into varying degrees of opacity.  It goes way beyond the scope of this post without turning it into a novel, but if you want to get more in depth with layer masks: masks of use to hide the Photoshop layers
  • Repeat for the other layers.

  From there on, it's a matter of style. for example, it seems that the sky has a thumbnail of all sorts, perhaps even a transparent gradient that has a layer mask applied so that the part that covers the golfer can be hidden. So many ways to do it.
