Maximum number of imported Ldap users

Hello, do someone knows if there is a maximum number of ldap users that I can import for users of the NSA 3600?

If you talk to auth method change LDAP-Local user and have your username using their powers LDAP to authenticate the SonicWALL, so it's 300 users.  If you configure SINGLE sign-on, then you can have 500 con-current authenticated users.

This information is based on equity 6.1 installed firmware. If you have installed 6.2 these numbers are slightly larger.

Thank you

Not something that the UCA can do out of the box.

The UCC does not offer, is to do the LDAP synchronization and once they are in CUC, to import, choose the model.

  • Private Distribution list 25 maximum number of users

On my system, users receive a message stating that they have added the maximum number of users to their distribution list private after the 25th Member via the TUI. The Administration of the unit guide indicates that there is not a limit on the number of users that can be added to a private Distribution list.

Is there a limit of 25 reviews?

    This is a configurable parameter?

Thanks in advance for any help!

This is a bug in conversation - is taking over when we used to have to cram all members of the list in a binary blob and other things in an extended property to an Exchange 5.5 object back in the day - there have been forced space, so we had to limit the members of the DL.

SA/APC removed this restriction everything at the time, but just UIS missed it - it is followed in this bug:

    http://www.Cisco.com/cgi-bin/support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?BugID=CSCed43179&submit=search

Looks like the limit is fixed in version 4.0 (5) to come.

  • Maximum number of user defined dimensions for Hyperion application with several types of plan

    Dear,

I know that the maximum number of dimensions is 20 for an application and for better performance, we shouldn't have more than 12 years, but if we plan different types? I found the below in the psb user guide:

"Applications are supported up to 20 dimensions. However, optimal performance, not more than 12 dimensions must be attributed to each Type of Plan. »

I have therefore 20 dimensions by plan type, or application? and that optimal performance it should be 12 dimensions by plan type, not by the application?

    Any advice, please?

    Thank you

The limit is for a planning application for a type of plan... You can add dimension to choose to exist for a type of plan in particular.

Exceeded maximum number of ATI EEU session

    Hi TodFranklin,

    1. when exactly you receive this error message?

2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

    Method 1:

Step 1: Start in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: If the problem does not occur in safe mode, you can put your system to boot (in normal mode) to solve the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to configure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 provided in the above article.

Method 2: I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: During the scan of the hard drive if bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to repair this sector, all available on which data may be lost.

  • Facing the question with the Maximum number of connections Timesten

    Hello

In my project, I need to increase the maximum number of connections that timesten offers me. So, I changed the setting of the nucleus as shown below in the file/etc/sysctl.conf.

    kernel.SEM = 655 670720 128 1024

The intention here is to get 500 connections max. But even after this setting too, I get only 477 connections. I don't understand why this is happening. Someone help me understand what is happening here.

In above configuration, my hypothesis is that 155 semaphores are reserved for internal use of timesten and remaining 500 will be available for me, but this isn't the case. Please, help me in this aspect to understand why I get only 477 connections instead of 500 connections.

    Quick help is very appreciated

    Thank you

    Agnes

    Hi Agnes,.

Thanks for the release of ttStatus. He explains what is happening and confirms my suspicions (second).

The setting of the 'Connections' in the DSN attribute defines the limit superior on user connections; that is, connections by applications and tools such as ttIsql, ttMigrate etc etc. There is also the concept of connections 'system' (subdaemon, replication agent, agent of cache etc) that do not count against the total "Connections."

In your case, the database is in fact properly configured for a maximum of 500 user connections. However, as you can see on the first ttStatus, you already have 23 application direct mode of 4 different connections methods of Java (which leaves the available user 477 connections). I of course have no idea what these applications are but probably your. This means that you are able to open additional connections a 477 application before arriving to the configured limit of 500. And that's exactly what we see; When you run your test application (what happens to connect via client/server), it reached 477 connections and then impossible to create more. As expected.

Therefore, to allow connections you must:

    1. stop the database (replace ramPoilicy by manual (or inUse), stop all applications, stop the replication agent, unload from memory if the policy is manual)

    2. change the value for connections in the attributes of the DSN to a higher value (perhaps 600) - also, you need to make sure that OS semaphores are high enough to allow this number of connections.

    3. load the database back in memory, start the replication agent, starting applications.

A a tied note, use of ramPolicy 'always' is not encouraged. In addition to the scenarios 'manual' is a better choice. We can "always" deprecated in a future release.

I change the value of db_files 1021 to 1500 in the initPT853.ora file and restart the Linux operating system. But get the same error as below:

As we see above, the HRCS90 instance work corretly, and PT853 does not start. Parameter DB_FILES the file initPT853.ora has a problem.

    My question is:

1021 and 1,500 is not enough for a starting PT853 instance, what value should be used for the the file initPT853.ora DB_FILES?

    Thank you.

Are you do not use a spfile? The file actually contains 3 values? What's the latest? Have you checked the value in the database side "see the db_files parameter?

I am sure, you have not a problem with this setting, 1500 files in the database is fairly large. Recently, I've built a demo, the default 1021 was ok for me. You should have done something wrong somewhere.

V$ PROCESS captures no USERNAME and MACHINE (because the user has not been authenticated on the database server).

I would look through the listener.log file to identify the remote control (ie. application server) IP addresses.

You can set the listener.log as an external Table file and interrogate him.  (Listener.log and external table on google search, there are several ways)

How do I know what the maximum number of agents I can put on a hyperic server. ?? IM using the built in database on a linux unbuntu 4 cpu system ' s2592 MHZ. 7GB of Ram. I assumed that the
disk space can be the most important question? Any suggestions or any help to determine when to stop adding customers would be useful. We can use open source, but are also
talk about the EE version. The Hyperic server type would make a difference in space etc.?

Disk i/o is probably a bit more critical than the disk space that the DB generally is not larger than 10-15 concerts.

Ability wise, your system is CPU/RAM.  Disk i/o will probably be your main bottleneck and the thing that will determine the maximum number of agents that can have on the server.

Splitting of the DB from the HQ server would certainly help in the perspective of General load.  Definitely put the DB a system with several piles of discs (part of a San, fast raid) will help you in the disk i/o.

If I was trying to answer the same question, I guess that I look at the Scriptures on disk on the DB as starting point, test the drive with systat/iostat or something to see what the drive is capable of in terms of read/write speeds and also look at postgres for slow queries, duration of execution of query, used memory and cpu.  Naturally, I would do the majority of "look at her" go to HQ itself :)
