McAfee Site Advisor does not work with Firefox 6.0.1
Different Firefox users have reported not being able to use McAfee Site Advisor with different versions of Firefox. I have the version update of Firefox (6.0.1) and have been able to use the Site Advisor until September 3, when I renewed my subscription to McAfee Internet Security, which includes the Site Advisor. Now Site Advisor no longer works with my Firefox browser.
McAfee says that Site Advisor does not work with the "Beta version" of Firefox, but I'm not using the beta version. When I informed them of this, their response is, indeed, "Is not our problem."
Any suggestions?
What version of Site Advisor do you use?
I have re-installed the latest version of Site Advisor which is 3.4 and his works fine for me on Firefox 6. Installed from their website www.siteadvisor.com

I have Norton Security Suite provided by Comcast. Norton Toolbar does not work with Firefox 17.0.1 on my Win 7 machine. I lived all the questions on this topic and did all the steps and when I click on "Add-ons", he always says that the toolbar is not compatible. It works with IE, but I prefer to use Firefox.
I had the same problem in the past. If you call customer Norton service toll-free they have always helped me start (without charges) when I have updated to a new version of Firefox - seems to happen every time even if I run the updates regularly. Hope that this phone help-Norton support is always very friendly and helpful-just Google their 800 number.

advice?
Hello
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I understand you have questions only by using the back button in the Firefox browser.
But I would like more information on this topic in order to help you.
(1) the back button worked before with Firefox?
(2) don't you make changes before this problem?
According to your description, there is no problem with the material since it works with Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. Previous key does not only work with Firefox. Therefore, I would advice you to check with Firefox and see if that helps, because they have more expertise on products here to help you better.

The last review of the user of this extension mentions that he does not work in Firefox 35. Other than to wait that the developer of this extension realizes its extension is broken and fix it on what you can do, is looking for a replacement / extension of replacement with this feature. Unfortunately, the developer did not provide a contact email link to encounters with bugs or comments and did not provide a "home page" with the details either.

Google does NOT work on Firefox 3.6.8 suddenly today. You can type in search and get the results on the first page. By clicking on the link "next" or no matter what number links is dead. Yahoo and Bing seem to work. I don't have a Google toolbar. Very frustrating. It happens all of a sudden today. Please check into it.

Flash blocker does not work with Firefox 28.0
I'm on Windows 7 Pro with 28.0 Firefox and Flash blocker 4.20.13 installed. Flash blocker doesn't block Flash in web pages. How can I get Flash Blocker to block Flash applications in web pages?
I'm not familiar with this particular extension. The reviews seem to indicate it does not work for everyone.
Here's how you can enable "click-to-play", a built-in feature of Firefox for Flash. This will delay the Flash start on a page, until you approve.
To set the Flash to "Ask to activate", open the page of modules using either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons
In the left column, click on Plugins. Search 'Shockwave Flash' and always change 'enable' to 'ask to activate '.
When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification in the address bar icon and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.
Once you approve Flash on a site, all the movies on the page will be charge. If you want to control one by one, there is a different extension, designed to work with click-to-play function of Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/click-to-play-per-element/
I hope that helps?

Adobe Flash does not work with firefox
Used Firefox with Flash v.11disabled Real Player 14 all the plug-ins, turned off the safe_mode for Flash and Youtube worked properly. Then Firefox upgraded me to 16.0.2 and Youtube does not work. When I click on a Youtube video, it does not give me any error message, just a white screen.
Demoted Flash v.10, still does not work. But Youtube works OK with IE and Chrome.

27xi and web printing does not work with Firefox
I just bought this HP 27xi monitor to Costco and thinking about buying another soon.
I use Firefox and went to print this web page I printed before using my HP monitor HP desktop computers and smaller and had no problem. Last night, I try to print to the top of the same page, and it's a big mess. I try to use the shrink to fit. I try to lower less than 50% and then the information move from one line to the other, so it makes no sense.
Costo Consierge told me I need to try a different browser such as Internet Explorer to see if that helps. My Firefox is updated. My MS OS Win & Pro is up to date. My MS Office 2013 is up-to-date and all recently reinstalled. I installed the driver appropriate for this monitor and made sure it was updated on HP site. My printer is newer HP 8600 and its drivers are up-to-date. I checked all my drivers for my CPU and they are all up to date.
So, is there no good drivers for this monitor for Firefox and Windows 7 Pro and I have to come back to IE?
I was able to track down someone who pointed me in the right direction. The problem is that Firefox does not come with the correct drivers for this monitor. Then I went to Mozilla and found a card that worked. What you should look for is a WYSIWYG editor or you see is what you will receive. Then plug this term the site of Mozilla and up will pop up from some of these publishers. I used the Xinha, which was the most popular downloaded.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/collections/nfroidure/WYSIWYG/
I don't have to go back to IE now even if Costco concierge recommended I do this. How lame is that? The guy at the store Costco knew that more that the tech support team.
I love this monitor and plan to buy another and another cpu but would never buy directly from HP again with the return policy only 20 days. Buy a 8700 Dell with Win 7 Pro at Costco because none of the HP machines have 7 Pro on them. MS has announced today that they will offer Win8 upgrades for free with Bing channels. They now can only give it since nobody wants.
