  My Ae media browser with file names - but not the thumbnails - icons and the right clip import option is grayed out. Same for all types of files. File directory and files supported all types are selected in the filter menus.

  They are known problems with the media browser panel in After Effects. You can import items by double clicking or dragging in the project Panel.

  We do not currently recommend the media browser for most users of After Effects, since it offers little additional functionality on the existing import methods. It has been added to After Effects for compatibility with Adobe anywhere and does not have some of the features available in Premiere Pro. • Problem with Media Browser

  Normally, when I opened a project I can click in the media browser panel and import a file. It is not possible now. Currently, on the side left showing a list of all records of readers. On the right are the files/pictures/clips imported in thumbnail view. View thumbnail is selected. 3-4 icons - new file, title page, etc. are normally under the thumbnails. It is not only the file & thumbnail view, then the sizing cursor.

  in the project Panel, you can see the media you imported from the media browser. The icons you are looking for are at the bottom of the location of the project.

• First pro CC - media browser refreshes all the time

  The media browser keeps refreshing after selection/rub a clip or even often randomly.

  Then I that you scroll to select a clip and the browser refreshes you are back at the top again.

  I could solve this problem (shots on wood) by turning off my cache of media and the database, but also to change the cache location for a separate cache SSD that I use for After Effects rather then "next to project" setting by default. One of the or the combination of all those who might have been the solution, so I can't say definitely, but at least I was able to start working again.

• In and out markers do not work in Media Browser - CS6

  Premiere Pro to open > new project (HDV 1080i)

  Then go to the media browser and nav for my HDV film.  I can hover-scrub on my clips very well, all that rubbing by click on the thumbnail.  I can NOT however score entry points and pressing I or O.  JKL works very well in the media browser.

  If I bring my images in the Source, I & O monitor works fine.  This a bug or if this feature has been removed?

  Hi Pcenginefx,

  It is the expected behavior. Marking points in the thumbnails of clip and output is not directly supported in the media browser, you must import the clips in the project Panel first. Clips in the media browser can not have metadata added to them for them (like points and output) until they are in the project.

  You can always open the clips from the media browser into the Source monitor Panel to set the points and exit before importing them into the project if this workflow is important to you.

  Could someone please explain to me why my clips in the media browser are completely out of the way in which they were shot?  I transferred the files directly to a file on the computer, then called these files from the media browser.  They do not appear in chronilogical order.  Also when I try to back up files in Bridge, I don't get a thumbnail of the image even if it is checked.  White squares appear with no picture.

  In the upper right corner of the media browser, there is a little icon called the flyout, click on it and choose "Edit Columns".

  Put a checkmark in the box titled 'date Created' and then click on ok

  Now, at the top of the media browser, FilePath, 'Name', 'DateCreated' columns should be listed.  You can sort your media by any of these columns by clicking on them.

  Not sure about the bridge... maybe someone else can help you with that.

  Well, basically you just drag and drop photos from the finder in your book page. There is no need to do them in the Gallery to use.

  I just opened iMovie on my iPad that Pro for the first time and the media browser show not only everything (photos or movies) in my camera roll. Probably, "operator error" but I have tried everything I can think of without success. Any suggestion?

  I had a similar problem, but disable the zoom of the screen set in my case.

  Settings > general > display / brightness > zoom display > (set it to standard).

• Media browser does not show most of the photos under iCloud photo library

  I use iCloud photo library. I have 50 GB of space to iCloud, and I use only 17. My camera has 2.2 GB of free local space. And yet, when I save photos, their local copies are removed almost immediately. This means that the media browser (UIImagePickerController) does not display these photos. On my iPad, the only pictures presented are two screenshots, I took on my phone in August.

  Furthermore, on my iPad Photos shows as taking 1.0 GB, while the same library resumes 7.0 GB on my phone. Both devices are devices in 32 GB with 2 + GB of free space, but this problem is present on my iPad.

  You should check into the Everio browser settings to check the ability of the data you are trying to burn. You should be able to move the DVD to the new PC.

  Its digital or alphabetical.

  Once in the project window, you can sort by date.
