  • My media players do not work with Toshiba Regza 32AV635D

    Hi all
I'm new to this forum. I tried to use a media player to my Regza 32AV635D TV, but it does not work. I tried with a Seagate GoFlex TV and a Philips HMP4000, but I still get a blank screen.

With the Seagate box, at first, I was able to watch the content of my usb key. A few times, he disappeared, but after turning power on/off, she works at random again. But it was the past: now, it never works. I tried to connect it via HDMI or ext too: the result is the same.

With the Philips box, I turn it on (it is new and has yet to be set to "setting up first-time") and the "Philips" logo appears on the TV. Then nothing more: the screen turns white (it's black), and nothing more. I've linked this box only HDMI.

I have already installed the latest firmware from 2011. Of course, I chose the appropriate interface (ext/hdmi), to which is connected the player to the TV.

Anyone know this problem or another similar and has a solution for?
    Thank you

For me, it does not resemble a broadcast TV from Toshiba.

The video files are stored on the external drive and the video signal passes to the TV HDMI port s.

From my point of view, you can select just a good HDMI channel in the TV settings.

    That's all

  • Windows media Center and games does not work, and does not work error message d3d8thk.dll

my media library does not work and message d3d8thk.dll isn't continuous work to come.  How should I do?

D3d8.dll error message could apply to any program that uses Microsoft DirectX, most video games.  I suggest following the steps below to solve the problem.

1 restart your computer if you have not yet.

D3d8.dll error could be a stroke of luck and a simple restart could clear up completely.

    2. install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX.  Chances are, the upgrade to the latest version of DirectX will fix the d3d8.dll not found error.

Note: Microsoft frequently publishes updates of DirectX without updating the version number or letter, so don't forget to install the latest version even if your version is technically identical.

Note: The latest version of DirectX should be installed no matter if you are running Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.  Installation can include DirectX9 and DirectX10 files but they run side-by-side without problem on all these operating systems.

    3. assuming that the latest version of Microsoft DirectX does not correct the error of d3d8.dll you receive, search for an installer of DirectX on your game or application CD or DVD.  Usually, if a game or other program uses DirectX, software developers includes a copy of DirectX on the installation disc.

Sometimes, but not often, the DirectX version, included on the disc is a better fit for the program than the last version available online.

4 uninstall the game or software program and then reinstall it again.  Something could have happened to the files in the program work with d3d8.dll and a reinstall might do the trick.

    5. restore the file d3d8.dll since the latest DirectX software package.  If the troubleshooting steps above have not worked to resolve your error d3d8.dll, try to extract the d3d8.dll individually from the downloadable package of DirectX.

I hope the information is useful.

    Kind regards

  • After the upgrade to Firefox 4.0, I returned to Firefox 3.6 because plug-ins, such as Media Player, would not work just with 4.0. They now work with 4.0.1?

After the upgrade to Firefox 4.0, I returned to Firefox 3.6 because plug-ins, such as Media Player, would not work just with 4.0. They now work with 4.0.1?

I used WMP plugin with Firefox 4 since its release.

The problem is probably because she couldn't find the WMP plugin. One way around this problem is to install the HTML5 Extension for Windows Media Player Firefox plugin available from http://www.interoperabilitybridges.com/html5-extension-for-wmp-plugin

This add-on will do 2 things, it will install the WMP plugin in a place that can find Firefox 4, it will also add an extension to add additional functionality for use by Windows Media Player. This extension has been reported as causing memory leaks, so I recommend that once you install the HTML5 Extension for Windows Media Player Firefox plugin, you must restart Firefox then uninstall the extension. The extension uninstaller will not remove the plugin, Firefox 4 will still be able to use it.

  • Windows media player does not work as no driver DVD

Had to format drive (trojan) & reinstall Windows XP home. Now Windows media player does not work as no DVD driver download from Toshiba site?

    Hello

Usually the Windows media Player is not able to read DVD movies IF no plugins were installed.
To watch DVDs, you can use programs such as WinDVD or PowerDVD.
These programs are designed for the DVD play!

But you can also visit the Microsoft Web site and search plug-ins for Windows Media player.
Then you can download and install to play a DVD with WMP
