• Member to the ASO cube formula

  Hi all
  I'm trying to calculate the month member when a cube of ASO.
  This formula applies; ([CDA], [and CurrMonth])-([CDA], [et PrevMonth]) but this means that the substitution variables must be defined each month. Is there a better way to make this more dynamic formula? Maybe using the CurrentMember in the formula?

  Yes, use CDA, CurrentMember - CDA, CurrentMember.Lag (1)

  Or & CurrMonth .lag (1) for a YEAR, & CurrMonth - CDA, depending on what you want to calculate exactly.

  Used on the period dimension, Lag (1) will return the previous month.

  Does not allow a presentation in an init block variable, simply because there is no variable presentation.

  In general what you try to do probably will never work because of "timing" and is as a session variable.

  A session variable is set once per session, for once he put no exchange of value as the init block is not executed again. So, because of this you already can imagine that there is a problem in your logic, if you want to use a value set by the user in the front end to set the value of a session variable.

  In SQL * Plus, you can use the COLUMN... New_value, like this:

• Formula member with the attribute

  I can't get a member formula to work. It's an account dimension. I tried a number of things simply divide two accounts if they have a "Division 3 Cranberry" attribute in the attribute productpool. I get the error message "Error (1200337) - compilation error formula for [CRN PLR barrel] (line 11): [)] without [()].
  This formula works, but give me just Cranberry: "CRN PLR per barrel" = "ProductLineReturn" / "TotalNSB";
  
  I tried many things and would be really grateful for the help,

  When I have a problem like that, I try to post a little a time until it works.

  What I mean is, you have this formula: "ProductLineReturn" / "TotalNSB";

  It is not valid.

  Is a formula that looks like: "ProductLineReturn";
  validate?

  Is a formula that looks like: "TotalNSB";
  validate?

  This seems silly and obvious, but I've used this technique several times - when I finally found the problem, it's a moment of palm-de-main-a-face--quelque thing I thought unless it is generally not.

  Oops, I wanted to add that the formula of Gary, or mine, changed a bit:

  in the member formula should work. As you pointed out, you don't need the "DPP CNR per barrel' = bit as it is implied by the Member of the formula is in.

  Cube of OSI, I created a member defined by the user in the account Dimension, which is calculated by a formula that uses the already existing members. (("member1"-"member2")/member1 = user-defined member) * 100; When checking the syntax of the formula of the EAS, its job very well, but when you pull the smartview report, user-defined member takes garbage and obtaining not calculated correctly according to the formula.

  It is difficult to help with the limited information in your message.  My wild guess is that it will be a problem of calculation, but I don't know.

  What value 'waste' are you?  Wear in any obvious way to 'member1' and 'member2 '?

  Is the dynamically calculated member and / or re-encoding Calc?

  Is - what the intersection that you get when you see the wrong number also include other members of the formulas or calculated dynamically?

  You use time balance or dynamic time series?

  Not sure if I really understand your calculation for example why would you sum all the level zero members status ending if you're looking at a subset of members but whay I think that you might wish to is something like
  Case When isAncestor ([(SDQ) (END)], [status ending] .currentmember) then
  [End of the crude inventory] / SUM ({. currentmember.children [ending status]}, [[complete gross inventory])
  End

  If you try to get the value of the current Member of the total stocks of crude end really the easier equation would be
  [End of the crude inventory] / ([end status], [end of the crude inventory])

• Essbase 7.1.6 - the substitution variables, as in the access filters

  I use Essbase 7.1.6, as mentioned above. Currently my writing permissions are based on edu, but for both dense dimensions I have setting and disabling UDAs is a pain (slow restructuring). I thought about the other ways to do this and came with variables. We already use in calc scripts and documentation says it is possible to use in filters too, but it gives no examples to do and I can go as far as the syntax on my own error.
  
  For example: the year variable is set on * "YR08" * member of dense dimension (with the quotation marks, of course). He gives a syntax error when it is used in the definition of the filter as:
  
  & year
  "& year".
  & 'Year '.
  
  
  The result is: error: invalid syntax 1054012 filter 9 online
  
  Any advice? What I do is still possible in this version?

  You can create a maxl script that replaces the filters, when you call the maxl script you could spend a variable such as YR08 and use this variable in the script.

• static reference with the global variable

  Hi, I used a static reference to a Subvi where I change a global variable before (3-4 years ago) and do not remember how I did it.

  It was something like these attachments, but now I'm using LabView 2013 instead of LV 8.6.

  The change in the overall operating system sees only not in the main vi (looks like the invoke node run vi does not work with globals).

  In addition the vi close with the invoke node close vi but not if I put the custom in the Subvi properties to automatically close.

  That's what I recommend.  If this is not possible for some reason, then you will need to use a flat Structure of the sequence to force the reading of the global variable after the Subvi is complete.

• Get NaN with the Javascript variable

  I'm learning javascript and I'm having a problem. I can't use a variable in javascript correctly. The function below shows the problem. When I use the variable vRow gets my value, however when I try to use the link_line variable I get NaN in my field in a table (f37).
  
  Can someone identify the problem here? I tried everything, including parseInt, parseFloat conversions, but I can't understand what is wrong.

  Hmmm... Is it possible that it's to do with the naming convention for item IDs tabular?

  I have the feeling that the reason why your call to

  Returns "undefined" is perhaps because the item you are looking for is actually called something like:

  F01_0001
  

  So if you simply concatenate F01_1, of course I don't think he'll find something with this specific ID (even if from a semantic point of view, that's what you intend). Try the same test, except F01_0001 hardcode in his place, I think you'll probably have a more fruitful response.

  It seems that you put the columns incorrectly in the user authentication server behavior. This is the SQL query that checks the credentials of the user:

  You are looking for first name and last name, while you should look for the user name and password of the user.

  $_SESSION ['MM_Username"] is a session variable that stores the login name of the user. To use it in a page, all that is needed is the page start with session_start(). You can then echo the value to display.

• Need help with the text variables

  I have a directory to which is more than 300 pages long.

  Each entry begins with a photo in a built-in framework shaped like a cat fall, followed by a space en dash and then the name, company, address, e-mail, etc.. Essentially, we have a photo hanging to the left and on the right information.

  The name is the last name in capital letters, first name and middle name propercase. I've defined a character style "Dict Head" and used in a paragraph style as style nested through 3 characters.

  Then, I defined a two text for the instance variable first and last instance on the page of the character style "Dict Head". I have a hyphen between the two variables (the goal is at the head of the race be "AAR - ABE," for example). The application, however, includes space en with three letters.

  I did a GREP search for space en with the applied character style and replaced it with himself, and < None > character style applied and which does not seem to get rid of. My current title looks like this " AAR - ABE." With invisible on I see the en space is still there.

  I deleted the text variables, exported a. File INX, opened soft and recreated the text variables and the spaces are still there.

  I'm open to suggestion.

  You can not delete a character with your search and replace nested style. Try it - ID can be found but not change it to [anything].

  Possible workaround would be to not use the style nested to mark the names and put the character marker using a GREP search and replacement style.

  I am using a loop for example with the name of the table in the select variable, but get a compilation error

  Excellent. Oracle APEX (Application Express) is a web IDE and RTS - it makes heavy use of DBMS_SQL to execute SQLs and restore these dynamically in the form of Web-based reports, or turn it into XML for graphical rendering using Flash software.

  DBMS_SQL is perhaps more complex (and only really necessary when it comes true dynamic SQL at all stages - including the result of SQL), but we must know how to use and apply. It is a valuable tool at times.
