Menu bar static slide to stretch with browser height

I know this may be invited at one point but I couldn't find a solution.  I have not my menu bar to stretch up and down in the browser.  In Muse, I have the rectangle touch the top bottom and sides of the canvas.  I design for the largest of screens out there, but the basics should still apply I guess.  Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Note that in the browser, it will stop before touching the bottom of the page.

For your case, I think that you can just draw the box taller. A Pinned item didn't impact on the height of the page or cause to lie vertical scroll bar, so you can create it as big as you want (bigger than the top) without negative side effects. As mentioned in other threads, Muse has no currently all built-in automatic vertical resizing of objects at height of the browser window. If you want or need something which is dynamically which you need to explore custom code or the third party widgets.

  • Menu bar static

    Hello

I would like to create a menu bar static which remains fixed at the top of my folio while sliding through the

pages of it (and perhaps more a static footerbar). To be clear: the user must be able to swipe

the contentarea, but in high remains fixed menu bar.

If I understand correctly, this must be done with html, js and css, but it contradicts just using Indesign in the

the first place (because if I have to create my content as html anyway, what's the point using Indesign?).

Is there a tutorial on this subject or a good practice to solve such

    of the problem?

I think I ve read about this problem before and there is no practical solutions

which, I must say, is a major problem, because if I need a xcode, the c programmer + to solve this.

Well, then I Don t need to Indesign and the constructor of DPS still.

    Thanks in advance,

    André

You don't need to use the HTML for the menu items. You can simply use the buttons. In DPS App Builder, you can hide the top navigation bar:

Top navigation to Hide in Folio ViewIf you select this option, only the lower navigation bar is displayed when a user clicks on an article. This allows publishers to create a navigation bar on all pages of the article to navigate the folio.

Then, at the top of each article (or if it is Horizontal Swipe only), you need to add buttons. You can create buttons that jump to articles using the "navto: / /" and you can go to the library and create a button to return to help the "goto: / /" format.

  • Firefox installed on Windows 7 but the menu bar and icons is filled with small horizontal lines on the icons and the menu bar...

I installed Firefox 21 on a new Windows 7 operating system. The menu bar and the toolbar at the top of the windows is full small horizontal lines. Sometimes, there are more lines and sometimes less. It makes the icons and menu items almost impossible to see. So far, is that the Firefox screen that made it. Other programs I have installed so far doesn't do this.

    Any ideas?

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Is transparency in menu bars and the address of the browser there a way to make stronger without changing the windows settings?

    Using FF 15.0.1

Is there a way to make the menu bar and bar addresses more than a solid color without having to change the settings of transparency in windows 7 in the area of color settings. Don't want to change everything to windows just fire fox. So is there a way to do menu bars and address more than a solid color?

    Thank you

Try a character solid with a color that suits you.

  • Menu Bar Spry Widget 2.0 with several background images.

    Hello

I am quite new to HTML & CSS. I designed a navigation system using Dreamweaver built in the Spry menu bar. When I discovered that it did not work on the mobile platform iOS (iPad), I rebuilt using the 2.0 Bar Menu Spry Widget. After going through the tutorial of David Powers on the subject (here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/spry_menu_bar.html ) and tweaking the CSS by trial and error that I'm going to look very nice, but is not quite where I want it to be, and I need help. It is a question of the 3 part (well okay, it's three different questions).

Here are two links to the work in progress (note: all site links, see the pages still using the older menus built-in spry bar - please ignore them). CSS for the menu is contained in these documents. Each maintains a drop-down list in a slightly different way. Both versions are relevant to questions 2 and 3.

    http://www.mentalwarddesign.NET/Dynamech/about/index.html

    http://www.mentalwarddesign.NET/Dynamech/about/indexV2.html

    1. when a link is set to a menu item that contains a submenu, the submenu drop-down does not work on iOS touchscreen devices (ie the iPad). Main menu link must be removed so that it works correctly. I want a user to be able to click (or tap) on the main menu item and be taken directly to the first page in the submenu. Is there a solution for this?

    2. the first version (/ index.html) has a submenu with a border and demarcation lines. The second version (/ indexV2.html) has no borders/lines, but a RADIUS on the corners. I try to combine these to have the RADIUS and the lines. The borders are controlled by #MenuBar. SubMenu.MenuItem RADIUS is controlled by #MenuBar.SubMenuVisble and #MenuBar.MenuLevel1.SubmenuVisible. The problem I get when you combine the two effects is that borders extend beyond the RADIUS. I tried ' overflow: hidden ' on any combination of the foregoing ID's and the only thing that made him the flyout of sub-sub to appear is prevented. Any thoughts on how I might accomplish this?

3 here is what is referenced in the subject.  The Menu bar is in a div tag called navMain. The background image in this div is made unique navigation bar image to look like seven tabs. If you look at the indexV2.html link above and go to the 'about' tab you'll see what I'm doing. I need to use a different background image for each tab for consulted/assets /. And of course I don't want the images repeat in the submenus as they do here. But wait, there is more! I also want to create a State "chosen" so that the image on hover shows from any page you are visiting currently - IE if you look at any page in the 'Drawings' submenu (of lets say that you are on the "miscellaneous" page) then the stationary image for "Drawings" is displayed. And if possible, he would suffer to the question I posed in the #1?

Thanks in advance for helping this newbie. The responces are greatly appreciated.

  • "Terrible blue ' seeps into the menu bar

in 2014, I asked this question:

Several new Firefox Support questions relate to the new "awful blue" in the menu bar in 29.0.1. But that "awful blue" was ALWAYS there as the Windows windowframe color (in Windows XP, SP 3). The real problem is that the windowframe has now "leaked" or "fused" its way into the Firefox menu bar. The two should be separate. Please separate them again, so that Windows controls the windowframe only, while Firefox controls the menu bar only.

It is visually important when there are several tabs as a single tab is visible. The other tabs have nothing left but their legends. See photo.

At the time where I got this reply and found it useful.

In the customize settings you can add the title bar to separate the two. I hope this helps. I will lock this thread unless you need further support, please feel free to post another question.

But now (v41.0.2) it doesn't seem to be a title bar, and I can't make this thing work.

Please allow the color of the Firefox menu bar was separated from the windowframe Windows color, whereas Windows controls the windowframe only, while Firefox controls the menu bar alone.

Try setting browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar to false on the topic: config page to disable the display of the tabs in the title bar.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

  • How can I change the height of the menu bar to allow my large icons/buttons maintain their size?

I've recently updated to FF31 FF28. Totally different user interface, I get that. I waited to update until I psych myself to try something different. I have the default theme Australis and Noia Fox Theme, which is designed with the larger icons/buttons for those with Visual needs. On my screen at this moment, I have the title bar, menu bar, tab bar and toolbar url/addon with the menu "Burger" on the right. I placed icons in the bar of menus, kept the House icon in the bar of the addon, and then there are the default icons in the menu popup. When I activate the Noia Fox Theme, look great icons in the addon/url bar, even in the popup menu; clear, large, easy to see. However, the icons in the menu bar (not the menu popup) are less than half their size origin/destination. So I'm going to default Australis theme, reboot and same problem, but not quite as dramatic as the default theme is smaller at first.

My thought then, is that there is a setting in the menu bar which resizes the icons/buttons for a small default size. This setting can be changed to allow icons to keep their size original (or near it) and if so, how? I like the location of the menu bar on my screen, underneath the title bar above the tabs bar. Works very well with the new Fox only better addon that attaches to the tab bar and mask the url bar, a 'new' for me and I love him. I know that I can get the CTR with an additional bar and I tried that. The question, then, is that the extra bar appears below the tab bar and that it is not moveable to above the bar below the title bar and tabs.

For the moment, I have just the two themes, security addons added and The Fox but better. I haven't added any other addons of appearance again in order to minimize potential conflicts/problems. I have not tinkered with internal FF by default not to follow the other parameters to tell me (I think that's what I did). To the best of my knowledge limited, I kept the changes and customizations to a minimum. And Yes, by your feature of conjecture to posted questions, I'm under Win 8.1 and 31 FF.

I think I've offered sufficient detail so that others may try to reproduce the problem. Otherwise, let me know and I'll try to answer as soon as I can. Thank you very much for any help offered.

You can also try code like this that I posted before on icons placed on the menu bar:

    #toolbar-menubar > toolbarbutton > .toolbarbutton-icon {
      height:24px!important; width:24px!important; margin:-3px!important;
    }
  • Can I enlarge my Mac menu bar?

For some reason, I always seem to have at least 3 applications running in the top menu bar at all times (as the own memory, Dropbox, OneDrive, loving, etc.). But sometimes, some of the icons will disappear at the top because the bar of menus ran out of room. Is it possible to add another line to my menu bar, or make the icons smaller bar so I can fit more? And if not, is it possible for third-party applications in the menu bar? (Cmde only works with things like Wi - Fi, time, volume, etc.).

No, you cannot add a second menu bar. Most of the software that has a menu icon allows you to turn it off.

The same thing happened to me! This problem is probabily caused by Acer
eDataSecurity Management. This software MUST be installed (but does not
to be initialized or setup) so that my solution work. Open an Explorer
window, e.g. 'computer '. Right-click on an empty spot in the menu bar. You
should see 'Acer eDataSecurity Management' is checked. Uncheck it. Now the
menu bar should appear and disappear with the support of the [Alt] key.

  • The color of the menu bar

    2. can you get color (same color with the Lr GUI) menu bar on the default Windows theme?

I don't think you can do this with all the customization options.

My Ps menu bar has the same color with the GUI under the default Windows theme... but Lr does not work.

It seems that LR uses the current Windows theme to choose the colors of the menu bar (do like most Windows applications), while the PS is not.

  • Change the style of the font for the top menu in the menu bar?

    Hi all

I created a menu bar in flex 3.4 with the following structure...

    screenshot1.jpg

Now what I want to do is to change the font style of just the top, not the submenu menu. For example, 'Home', 'Menu1' and 'Menu2' view in a font size larger than the submenu items.

    This can be done?

    Thanks and greetings

    I tested. It's work.

    / * CSS file * /.

    Menu.test

    {

If you change a font on the menu bar, it will change on the Menu. You must set different fonts in the style of menu to substitute it.

  • Firefox 38.0.1 window resized with menu bar problem

After update to 38.0.1, I have the active menu bar, and I have a problem with the firefox window, changing size when displaying pages. The entire window jitters then I lose the bar menu at the top of the tab bar. at this point, I can't click or enter data into a web page. If I select the border of the window and resize or move the window back to its original with the menu bar size and displayed correctly tabs.

I also developer of Firefox v 40.a02 it was OK last week I was last updated on 29/05 and now also has the same problem.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

  • I changed my url to white now, I can't find the Favorites or the menu bar of the browser, pls can someone tell me how to restore to the original url parameter?

I tried to remove thumbnails of Firefox & advice line went to browser.newtab.url and changed to 'white', now when I open Firefox from the menu with bookmarks etc bar is missing, but when I opened a new tab thumbnails are still there, I don't have a lot of experience & would appreciate some advice on how to restore. I tried to restore the computer to an earlier time, but that does not restore the url from the browser to the State before you start playing with it. Help, please!

Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse to the top of the screen to facilitate the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.
Click the expand (in the top right Navigation bar) to exit full screen or right-click on a space empty on a toolbar and select "exit full screen" or press the F11 key.

You can use one of them to set toolbars to display.

    • Firefox '3-bar' menu button > customize > show/hide toolbars
    • View > toolbars
Press the ALT key, or press F10 to display the Menu bar
    • Right click on empty toolbar space

What is the current value of the browser.newtab.url pref?

If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

You can create a new Boolean pref on the on: page config to prevent the generation of thumbnails for Firefox the subject: newtab page.

    • name: browser.pagethumbnails.capturing_disabled value: true

Delete the folder of thumbnails in the Firefox profile folder to remove the thumbnails already memorized web page.
