Menu buttons without draw in the drop-down menus
I need help...
I have a client who is inflexible, refusing the collection of menus in the navigation buttons.
So I put a page where there are 6 navigation buttons at the top, then on the left side, I added 7 buttons (forms diamond) downhill. So all together, I have approximately 13 links / pages. Based on the top of the page navigation buttons there are 6 pages. How can I create additional individual pages 7 without affecting the 6 original navigation buttons. Is this possible?
Thank you!
SAL
Couldn't you have just selected each of the side frames button and add a hyperlink to each, using the hyperlink feature in the menu bar. If you click on the blank white box to the right of the hyperlink feature, it shows all of your pages, simply select the one that suits. Maybe you try to use the Widget for Navigation, but it works and is fast. Or did, I misunderstood your question?

I use a completely updated version of Windows 64 bit on a new ASUS laptop. I've updated to version 24 [IIRC 12] FF and browse the drop-down menus are not displayed correctly. They also testify anyway altered, too big or too small. When I run in safe mode, they work very well. I disabled all extensions and plugins and the problem persists. I have reset FF and the problem persists. It is usually a invalid parameter is passed to a routine and a mistake that should not be happening on not one but 2 versions [24 and 25].
Safe mode also disables the use of Firefox hardware acceleration of graphics. This method works around the graphics card driver incompatibilities. You should try it in normal mode and see if it helps.
You will need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).
the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced
In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.
If you restart Firefox, is the problem solved (or at least enhanced)?

DW-MX-04 in the drop-down menus do not work.
I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 (have been for several years, so I know my way around it). I want to create the menu drop-down or menu ruffles to consolidate the links on the page into categories in order to reduce the number of tabs of link I have on each page. I was able to create the menu, I needed (using the: Tag Chooser\ Behaviors\ the menu Pop-U), but when I saw the pages in Internet Explorer, the text shows that on the text of mouseover (not on top) despite the text color defined as black in the Menu window. But it's even worse. When I downloaded the page to try it, in the drop-down menus appear not at all when I hover over the main buttons and I get javascript errors.
Can someone give me assistance both on how to solve this problem?
I checked the issue of text color by using the code editor pane view, and it matches the way I have it set on the Shortcut Menu. But that's the least of my worries, if I can't get to work at all when the pages are turned.
Thank you... JEB

Update the drop-down menus and jQuery sortable collide with the 16.0.2
The drop-down menus that are contained in a table sortable jquery act as if they are disabled. By clicking on them, doesn't matter. I can tab in the menu drop down and control it with the arrow keys, but the mouse does nothing. The menus outside of the table still work very well. This problem only occurs in Firefox 16.0.2 on several computers, all equipped with Windows 7. The problem does not occur in IE9, Chrome or Safari. In addition, the problem does not occur in Firefox 15, but it occurs in Firefox 17 Beta. I did not see anything addressing this specific issue, so I guess this isn't a known issue.
The problem has been resolved.

Cannot scroll inside the drop down Menus
I just got a new laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit) HP, installed Firefox 11 (now updated to 12) and discovered that when using the touchpad (Touchpad Synaptics v8.1. Driver provided by Synaptics, version 15.3.29.0 as of 10/13/2011), I can't scroll inside the drop down menus.
To replicate, go to this link: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/sss/
Click on the drop down menu to the search category. Use the touch pad to scroll through the list. Mine closed list and returns focus in the browser instead of scrolling of the list. It then scrolls the window of the browser instead. This works fine in IE. I tried the things:
Safe mode
Unchecking scroll smoothly
Uncheck auto-scroll
Uncheck the hardware accelerationAnd about all the various combinations of the above things. I also tried to restart Firefox every time I made a change. Nothing seems to solve this problem.
Oddly enough, if there is a window of text within the page (as I write this), I can scroll than fine. Once I move my mouse out of the box, it scrolls the homepage very well. I don't think that it is a matter of the development following the mouse, there something to scrollable drop-down boxes that specifically seems.
Also, I must point out that all the pages I have problems with work well in IE how they SHOULD work in Firefox.
I had this exact problem, the same features of HP and the driver Synaptics. I went to synaptics site and downloaded their latest driver which is lower 15.3.29.0 for some reason any. There 15.2.20, I got this one for 64 bit since that's what I have. You must uninstall the 15.3.29.0 first because it is "newer". He now works properly in FF and IE and everything else. If for any reason any the last FF has a confrontation with the latest version of the synaptics driver and FF devs had to include a fix in the next patch.

I was fiddling with the settings and change the opacity of the drop down menus (like when I get a few letters in the browser address window, and a menu drop-down is displayed with suggestions). The drop down menu is now almost transparent - almost impossible to read. How can I change this back?
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.
Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4 and later versions, and disables hardware acceleration.
Try turning off hardware acceleration.- Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.
If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

FW CS3 - Code corrupted in the drop-down Menus
Suddenly the drop down menus in my FW CS3 (Windows) shows strange symbols instead of normal keyboard shortcuts (such as F8, etc.). My other programs in the CS3 suite are fine (P/S, Flash, creation, etc.). Tried to restart, help menu, etc... nothing seems to work.
Here's a sample of what I see now. Someone knows how to fix this? Thank you! :)
Screenshot of the menu corrupted in FW TextTry to reset your preferences file:
Close the Fw
Navigate to the following location on your drive:
[Drive, C:] \Documents and Settings\ [user] \Application CS3\ [application language, such as "English" folder].Delete/backup the Preferences.txt file from this folder to a different location.
Restart the FW and see if this fixes it.

When I try to edit a room photo in photoshop elements 12, I'm not able to use the slider or one of the drop down menus. All I have is a black circle with a line through it.
Most likely, the images are 16-bit/channel.
Go to Image > Mode and click on 8-bit/channel and see if that solves the problem.

Convert Word doc with the drop-down menus in PDF w/menus
I have a Word document with several drop-down menus. This document requires conversion to PDF and keep all the drop down menus. I have Acrobat X standard and you need to know how to convert the Word document.
Of course, you can convert the Word file PDF but the drop downs should be recreated using form tools in Acrobat. You can use the drop-down list form field to re-create the menus.

The drop-down menus, context menus and menu for Auto-filling items are not displayed!
I FF4 beta, it started from FF4 beta 7. I'm working on Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.
The problem is that I can't see drop-down menus unless they have many elements, or context menus (such as highlighting a text then right click on it), auto fill bars no longer view AutoFill info is entered before... the menu itself appears a bit. but it is transparent and I can not display the items, do not know where to click to select the thing I want.
I don't have this problem before 4.0b7... after I got it, I thought it was one of the plugins, so I disabled them all but still have the problem!
A picture describing the problem encountered is taken here, now on this page, I've highlighted a text and right click on it: here you can see the menu appears somehow, surrounded by the red border, but I'm not!
Tools > Options > advanced
Under navigation try disabling use hardware acceleration when available. It shouldn't affect the context menus like this, but who knows with NVIDIA cards.

The fonts are really small in the bookmark drop down menus.
There is a Firefox extension that allows you to enlarge the fonts in the menu and toolbar. You could give this a try and see if it works for bookmarks, too:
https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
Its button usually appears towards the end of the main toolbar once you install it. Once you have finished defining the desired font size, you can take the bar button using the personalization feature. See: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars.

Form original action jump to the third item on the drop-down menus, not the first.
I completed my form fields, with text and drop-down menus.
Finally, I added a 'Clear form' button, but on the menu drop-down, it goes on the third item on the menu, not the first, on my case, the first element is called '- select one -'
On the Options tab of the field for a drop-down list properties dialog box, you can select the default item. Any item is selected when the dialog box is closed, then will be what's on the field when the field is reset.

Adding a selection "in white" for the drop down menus under the list items.
A lot of people on this form are accidentally selecting items which should not be selected and should be able to change the drop-down menu return empty, if they made a mistake and selected a bad point menu drop-down in the wrong area.
Help, please
Thank you!
See if this example helps... To test, select any value from the drop-down list and click the button "Reset".
https://Acrobat.com/#d=nniRxwkhF * WzNou2QLAm6A
You cannot add a white as an item in the drop-down list. So I put a space using the space bar while adding items to the drop-down list.
Thank you

Problems with the way in which the drop down menus work.
By clicking on the icon of the topic / makes the drop-down menu visible for a second or two, and then either they disappear completely, or leave a ghost outline. Moving along positions, sometimes they will be displayed correctly, sometimes they appear and disappear, sometimes they show just a ghost image.
