• How can I create CSS for the editable regions in the documents based on templates?

  I created a template in Dreamweaver CS4 by using their set of 3 columns, header and Footer option available. The model works fine in the browser. I inserted an editable region in the empty middle of the model column. I created a new page based on this template and want to be able to format the text that I entered in the editable using CSS. Any time, I try to create a new CSS rule I get the following dialog:

  Is it possible to create new CSS, which will apply to the information entered in the regions be modified of a document based on a template? Simple step by step instructions would be appreciated.

  Do not know what is the 'id' of the middle column, but you must target the text inside that

  Example:

  It is better if the text in the middle column is paragraphs and target you them as as follows:

  #whatever p {}

  color: #639;

  do-size: 12px;

  padding: 0 15px 15px 0 / * top, bottom, right, left * /.

  You must make sure that you include the above in the editable page css region and HE MUST come after any link to the style sheet css main.

  If in doubt post the code for the page here and say what you want to be purple and I'll have a look.

  The tip is stop created with the css dialog box in DW, it's a load of bollocks and started writing some simple css directly in the page itself. It is easier and gives you more control than any interface automated half cooked in the oven.

  Start learning some simple css. There is absolutey zillions of resources on the net. A couple of hours well spent and your miles further. If you keep pressing DW to do everything for you, then I'm afraid you'll just be going around in circles.

  Enter the code and don't be afraid of him, take it apart and see how it works. Slowly step by step and little by little you will realize how simple structures are and how simple css really is.

  I copied the html code original and pasted in a new document and that solved the problem and I can now save it as a template.  But the original file which is a carbon copy can still be saved as a template.  Although my promleb is now resolved, but still, I would be curious to know what happened.  Your help will be most appreciated.

  Hi all... The guy who made my impression sent all correct margins and bleeding etc for my newsletter in an indesign documents (indd). I saved this document as a template (indt) but it does not appear in the model options saved when I open a new document. I am making sense? I saved his document for me as an indt, and I expected that when I touched the file, then new document, that the document would be one of the options in the predefined Document box, but he's not here. For now, I must go to the folder my documents and double-click the document in there to open a new document.   Forget again from the template (it has never been an option 'Open' a model using the command open). CS5 comes not with models, and the new control model last appeared in CS4. You don't need it.

  Just do what you do, open the template file to the location of the folder where it is saved. By default, any file saved with the extension .indt opens as an untitled copy and your original will remain intact. If you must change the model itself, either change a copy and "Save as", a model (and overwrite the old version if you wish), or click on the 'original' box in the open dialog box.

• Can I change a locked region of a page based on templates?

  Well, to cut to the Chase, I have a page that is based on a master template which no longer exists. I need to change the < title > attribute in the cephalic region.
  
  normally, I just open the main template for this page and change the < title > tag it. but, as I said, there is no longer the main template (the Moose model name has been changed, I think).
  
  I was hoping I could just correct this line to reference the master model current, correct. but I can't find a way to change this locked line of text. Unfortunately, the < title > tag was not in an editable region.
  
  does perform a work around, or do I have to rebuild everything this page by using the new correct model?

  I just copied and pasted the editable code regions into a new master, then make some changes to css to get straight. has taken 5 minutes.

  I'm working on a document in Xcode using ApplescriptObjc, Editor, but I'm having a problem. I can't understand how to create an integrated NSDocument application which can work to the level of something like TextEdit.  I would really appreciate if someone could point me to a good tutorial or documentation, ApplescriptObjc, or an example of code for me to go off of.   I doubt that you will find a lot of specific information AppleScriptObjC, because most of the tutorials and documents are in Objective-C (or Swift) and AppleScript isn't just popular for more serious application development.  Your best bet would be to download the TextEdit example code and convert the parts you need.

• TemplateBeginEditable tag inside the editable region

  I bought a HTML template several years and it works fine until I updated for Dreamweaver on creative cloud. I can still update the pages, but now I can't update a page template. I get the following error whenever I try to update a page template:

  My temporary solution was to go back to an older version of Dreamweaver (CS5) on an old Mac to make updates to the model. But I would like to solve this problem, so I can make changes in CC model.

  I wonder if this is related to the code Linting.  Maybe if you disable the Linting in preferences DW will leave an error appears when there seems to be none.

  Otherwise, try to restore preferences-

• Make editable no editable regions without the original model

  Hi all

  I am designing a new Web site. I created a Web page and it is a model with editable regions so that future pages would be easy to make (the parent Page). However I completely replaced the model with which was suppost to be a new model and record not relising it is the main model for my site. So to sum up, he went and is irretrievably. I have child pages of the template, but these have no editable regions and I want to make editable again so I can save it to the file of the original model so it becomes the model.

  How to make a child page's parent page or remove the editable regions without having to redraw the entire page again?

  I guess that there are several ways to achieve this. So here is my work flow.

  I load the child page in DW and then click on change--> models--> detach the model and I have an editable document.

  I have a basic model for the website (creation of main menus) and a secondary model using this basic model, which establishes a common table, on the one hand of the site layout.   In summary - insert the marker @@("") @ in the editable area.

  I tried it and it works perfectly! The cephalic region is now locked in the nested template, so the changes in this area went from child pages. That's the answer.

I tried to create a new model and a child by him as a test by removing the css links (as someone suggested to do) to try to identify troubled css and I kept getting the same error in the new pages.   OK, I thought about it: the problem is that in the window options, when I tried to insert Flash video, I ticked the box: 'invite users to download Flash Player if necessary.' It was not allowing me to insert. When I unchecked, the error message disappears. I guess, I have to add this option to download in a different way.

  If you use a template, then I would recommend using "layer of reusable form field" and this is the same documentation:

  Before that, you need to create by going to the dashboard-> add a template to the library and check the second option 'Create as a layer of reusable form field' and save it.

  When you type information in a form in the DC or Pro Player I can enter text with fields of text etc and then save, close and return later to change the form. However once I use the function "Fill & Sign" to sign the document, and then save, it locks the file and all other fields become editable. Is there a way around this to remove this feature where it becomes locked and instead allows me to change the form after a signature is applied and saved. All the security properties of the form are on 'admitted', there is no restriction. Even though the document is locked all the properties remain still as 'authorized '.

  The signing is FINAL.  You cannot sign a PDF paper advance. Complete and save, do not sign.

  You can also use this online https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf service

  Once the PDF is converted .docx file you can edit in MS Word.

  You know the password? Otherwise, the security policy does not allow adding comments in the file, then there is nothing you can do about it.

  Restriction of anyone to modify the PDF using Acrobat | Securing PDF files with passwords will be possible using Acrobat free trial download Adobe Acrobat application | Acrobat Pro DC. Is not possible with the free Acrobat Reader DC application.
