method called when loading page jspx page

I use the jdeveloper11.1.1.1.0 version.
is there a method that is called during the page load time. in this method, I need to apply the entire where clause on the view object and some features more I should add here.in ADf life cycle, is there any method like init()?

Sanchez,

See [this blog | http://groundside.com/blog/DuncanMills.php?title=adf_executing_code_on_page_entry_1_servi&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1] by Duncan Mills. Instead of the service method, you can use your AM / VOImpl method.

  • To access a page method call parameters jsf page fields

    I have a workflow with a single method, call the execution after a point of view (jsf page).

    The view is a jsf page that allows to edit several fields to then filter a view object. This inputtext fields - components in general-have no connection.

    The next step in the workflow is executing a method call that takes these parameters - values entered previously in the jsf page - and to run a vo.setwhere and then a vo.exeuteQuery methods but I need the input provided in the previous page. I don't know what is the best method to get access in the ADF.

    I usually pass parameters to the method call in the page 'Change the binding of the Action', section 'settings' via EL expressions.

    You can have a support with scope pageFlow bean and bind the attribute to the property value as John mentioned. However, if you do not want to generate a bean, you can simple binding to a pageflow scope variable (might be created automatically).

    Something like

    value="#{pageFlowScope.someVariable}"

    and then for the methodCall activity, set the value of the parameter to the same as above EL.

  • Default method of workflow activity is not called when the Page refreshes

    Basically, try to call a script function java front page of fragments of the charges.

    INSTALLATION PROGRAM:

    Jdev 12 c

    TF defined with a default activity that invokes a page fragment.

    The activity of default method calls a method to support bean which inturn calls the method init java script before the fragment on the page doesn't load.

    This TF is in a container jsf page.

    During the loading of the page containing the first activity of the method is called and js function triggers and then fragments of charges which is the desired behavior.

    PROBLEM:

    When I refresh the page by pressing F5 or by running the page again on the same window of the browser activity method default IS NOT gets called which inturn will not trigger the js call.

    But when I run the same page again in a different window it works and then subsequent updates or page load activity IS NOT of default method is called.

    If it is not provided? The default activity is called when the workflow is updated.

  • Unable to auto expand topics when loading pages F1 help

    Hello

    In application, we were limited to use Microsoft Compiled HTML Help. I'm more familiar with this format and have encountered a problem with subjects not auto expansion when the pages are launched.

    We have integrated context-sensitive help, but I found at the launch of the application using F1 that although it loads the relevant topic it does not develop the menu to the appropriate section. I found a thread that suggested that I had to put the TOC box so "Always show selection" has been verified, but it did not work.

    I use Robohelp 8 version 8.0.0.203.

    Can someone please advise if this is possible using this output and to advise on how we can get it to work.

    Thank you

    You don't need to create a new project. Just:

    1. Microsoft HTML Help set your default single source available. Right-click on it to do this.
    2. Create a new window. Right click again on a window and select new window.
    3. Set the option in the window.
    4. Change the properties of your page layout of single Source to use the new window.

  • Header image causes the displacement when loading pages

    I built a project with a size of header 215px on only one master and placed a box of 'Wide' with a ladder to the fill picture, with my logo and the navigation Menu I want to expand on all pages of the Web site.  When I move from page to page, the menu bar and body of text temporarily transfer and then down again made the transition from one page to another very clumsy looking and have a nice static header between pages.  If I remove the header image this behavior disappears, but given that it is a standard feature of Muse and is covered in the first tutorial of training Katie coffee, I guess it should work more smoothly.  As a side note, I went back to the site of the Katie coffee I built with instructional video and noticed that this behavior also occurs on the homepage of this site, so therefore it doesn't seem to be specific to the design of my site.

    Given that I put a header size on my master, at least, I think the position of the page body to stay consistent with this, even if there were changes in the header box?

    Please change the fill to fit and then check, in addition to publish the site to the live page as the browser view probably will not show the same question.

    You must use CreateInsert action, you can use the method call activities before your jspx page.

  • How to detect when a page is in sight with jQuery or javaScript?

    Is it possible a detect when a page is in sight? Currently, it seems that my document ready function is called when the page is the next or previous page and the current page. This is called two times... there at - it a reliable way to detect this?

    I came across this a lot. first thing is that when you look at a particular page, DPS is cached the pages around it, all around him, so it brings cached the top, right, bottom and left pages, which will throw things and play videos and what not.

    Here is the workaround to get it to only when launch in sight. set the time of reading automatic (I guess that's an overlay "webcontent") seconds a.125. It will start the clock only when the page (diamonds) is in sight.

    I don't know if theres an easier way, but it's like I do and it works.

  • Call a method bean after loading the page in the file jsff

    Hi all

    I'm working on JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0.

    I need to call a managed bean method after jsff is responsible. My requirement is that I must add dynamically RichImage on my page. So I put a PanelGroupLayout as a container on the page. I add the RichImages to this PanelGroupLayout with

    parentUIComponent.getChildren () .add (childUIComponent);

    I tried using regionController but it gives me as regionController Null pointer has no access to user interface components on the page.

    then I tried with javascript, but it is not shooting my bean method managed. I put the code below in my home.jspx

    < af:document id = "d1" >

    < af:serverListener type = "onloadEvent" method="#{viewScope.ConnPocBean.initMethod}"/ >

    < af:resource type = "javascript" >

    function onLoadClient (event) {}

    AdfCustomEvent.queue (event.getSource (), "onloadEvent", {}, false);

    Returns true;

    }

    < / af:resource >

    and below is the code in my testPage.jsff file

    < af:clientListener method = "onLoadClient" type = "load" / >

    But here, when loading my testPage.jsff... initMethod() is not going to get fired.

    Please let me know what is the problem here.

    Thank you

    Fox

    If you want to try other ways to add a child element to PanelGroupLayout, use:

    parentUIComponent.getChildren () .add (childUIComponent);

    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addPartialTarget (parentUIComponent);

    in the Get accessor of the binding of an element method, which is placed after PanelGroupLayout in your jsff. So when the next component is loaded the child will be added to the PanelGroupLayout

  • How to limit the appeal of Web service method when the page loads?

    Hello

    I have an a choice selection list that is populated using a web service method. There are several different lists on the page. When a page loads, all of these methods of service web (methods are inside the POJO class) are executed.

    I would like to limit the call to the web service methods. The call occurs even if the component is not rendered. Basically, all methods in the page links are executed during the loading of the page. Is there a way to limit this behavior?

    More time is consumed during the loading of the page. Can someone help me on this?

    JDeveloper Version: 11.1.1.7.1

    Thank you
    Malenfant.

    You can play with the value of the condition of discount for links - see for example:

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] Call ExecuteWithParams operations programmatically when the page is loaded. How...?

    Hallo,

    in a working group, I have a 'readonly' page that uses in many istances VO (for fields, tables,...).

    When the page is loaded, I need to call its ExecuteWithParams operation for each VO.

    I would drag / drop (cascading) the operation of each VO ExecuteWithParams in the workflow, but the problem is that I need to run logic to call.

    For example, I have some cases in which I have to exec VO, and then pass the value of a field in the returned to the VO ExecuteWithParams, another record.

    I guess I can't manage this 'declarative' in the taskflow but I use code in a managed bean.

    So far, I've added for each VO ExecuteWithParams action page links.

    I know I can use a code like this to call the ExecuteWithParams for each VO...

    OperationBinding operationBinding = BindingsUtils.getBindings().getOperationBinding("ExecuteWithParamsToCall");
    operationBinding.getParamsMap().putAll(paramsMap);
    Object result = operationBinding.execute();
    if (!operationBinding.getErrors().isEmpty()) {
      return false;
      }

    ... but the problem is... where and when I call?

    I wrote in the managed bean extended view a public function initPage() tha called the ExecuteWithParams.

    How to use this function?

    I can use it during the lazy fo page load?

    Can I use it as a method call to place in the working group before the page? I have to admit that I already tried that way, but it did not work...

    In addition, after calling a VO ExecuteWithParams, as I said before, I may have the need to treat the VO after his execution to gather values for some fields (I'll pass these values to the other VO ExecuteWithParams).

    Can I access the iterator from the bean by using the iterator binding?

    Thank you very much

    Federico

    Instead, I have to create it in the the methodCall1 pageDef?

    Yes

    And if methodCall1 calls - as in my case - the function of a bean that uses the ExecuteWithParams many istances VO... I create all the necessary links in the methodCall1 pageDef?

    Yes

    And Yes... Links ExecuteWithParams that I created in the page untitled1 aren't necessary?

    Once again Yes (except if you do not have to invoke to untitled1 page)

    If you have 2 minutes trying to download the app, so you'll have is that I was

    I have more than 2 minutes (I hope), but I did not immediately jdev

  • Need to call the javascript function when the page is loaded

    Hello - I have a javascript function defined on Page 0 of my application. It is in the source of an unconditional
    region whose view point is after the header.

    I call successfully the function of event onchange on individual page elements. (The function
    sets the value of an element based on the value of another).

    But I also need to call the function when the page is loaded. The page is a form of data modification,
    so many values is filled when it is loaded, and I need the dependent values populated
    also.

    I tried to add the call to function in the following way. It is not at all get called (alerts are not forthcoming)
    and there is no error in the Firefox error console...
    - as an event onload in individual items
    -call directly to the edit HTML page header
    -call directly from the HTML body of the edit page (which, from what I've read, sounds
    as to execute onload and my page template doesn't have a defined substitution onload string).

    In these 2 cases, I simply call it like: jsLookupValue ($v ("P8_OBJECTTYPE_ID"), "objecttype_id", "P8_OBJECTTYPE_NAME", "objecttype_name", "hdb_objecttype");

    How can I do this?

    Thank you
    Carol

    If you define the function on the zero page and any page you should be able to call using something like:

    Have you tried to put just a statement alert() on the page in order to check that it runs just about anything?

  • Validation of required field only when the page loads (HR test case!) included

    Hi experts,

    Here you have a simple test for Jdev 12.1.3 HR case: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18609389/TestHR.zip

    The main.jspx is just a button which CreateInsert a record dept displayed in another page:

    Screen Shot 10-16-14 at 07.04 PM.PNG

    My problem is the following page (test.jspx) has this code to run when the page loads:

    <af:serverListener type="onloadEvent" method="#{backingBeanScope.backinBean.onPageLoad}"/>
                <af:clientListener method="onLoadClient" type="load"/>
                <af:resource type="javascript">
                  function onLoadClient(event) {
                      AdfCustomEvent.queue(event.getSource(), "onloadEvent",
                      {
                      },
    false);
                      return true;
                  }
                </af:resource>

    The code is simply this (now):

        public void onPageLoad(ClientEvent clientEvent) {
            logger.severe("HR TEST.....");
        }

    And that's the problem, required validation is performed.

    Screen Shot 10-16-14 at 07.06 PM.PNG

    Can you tell me why?

    Thank you

    Jose.

    Don't know what is my mistake, but the code is of the actionListener button is not called. :-(

    Well, you combined two different ways to do this (from my first answer).

    If you are still reading this, you will notice "or" before the second suggestion

    Thus,.

    1. keep your clientListener under af:document tag

    2. based on javascript, you find key (use: alert ("button");)  to see if you have referenced correctly your button in findComponentById())

    And then:

    approach 1:

    Use AdfActionEvent.queue (button, true);  queue event on your action button and implement your logic in function attached to the properties of your 'actionListener' or 'action' button (if you don't need listener server in this case)

    approach 2:

    Use AdfCustomEvent.queue (button, "onloadEvent", {}, false);  the queue onloadEvent on your button (in this case you need listener server attached to your button)

  • Setting default value for selectOneChoice when the Page loads

    BPM JDev 11.1.1.5.0

    I have a selectOneChoice component bound to a BPM data control. You need to set a specific value as the default value when the page is loaded for the first time.

    I did the scope of the bean managed as pageFlowScope.
    Then created a variable of string in the bean called 'postal code' and its setter I wrote like:

    You can follow this approach as well. But when you call the countryCode setter? You must set the value of the variable string.

    Then, I used your code in the jspx page.

    You need to edit my code in the jspx you use a managed bean. The code will change as below.

    I was suggesting to use a variable of pageFlowScope as defined in my previous code snippet. And on pageload, set this variable. To find out how to write/execute java code before page loads refer to this post:
    http://www.baigzeeshan.com/2011/05/How-to-run-Java-code-on-every-page-load.html
    In the afterPhase of the post method, you can set the variable pageFlowScope as shown below.

    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getPageFlowScope().put("countryCode", "IndiaIN");
