  Once all attempts fail, the BB is hard locked on the original media. The official method to unlock it now is to send it to the factory and ask them to unlock it. You can ask your provider if they would help, but since you are not yet using one of their devices, they can be reluctant. Also, I heard, even if everyone agrees to do, cost more than just buying a new.

• Use of Smartphone unlocked blackBerry PEARL 8110 in Europe

  AT & T gave me an unlock code for my Pearl a few years ago upon request.  I've never used to unlock the phone, because I went to another telephone shortly after.  The Pearl was just sitting and wait until yesterday when I used the MEPD method to unlock the phone.  I think I've succeeded.  Under 'Advanced Options/SIM Card', everything is indicated as "disabled".  However, it is also said to 'no SIM card valid', and on the main screen, it says that "initialization failed", as well as the AT & T logo.  The phone is apparently connected to the AT & T network, but allows only 'emergency calls '.  The SIM card, I have used over unlocking is a European pre-paid card.  Of course, they have no coverage here, so I do not expect to be able to use the phone with the SIM here.

  I plan to travel to Germany next week and to use the Pearl out there.  I don't just want to use my other phone out there (locked to AT & T) and pay their horrendous roaming charges.  Since I've never done this before, I want to assure you that I did really well.  I don't want to leave the plane and be without a working phone.

  Does anyone have any advice/comments/suggestions?  Really unlock my Pearl for good?  What I have to use that particular SIM card or I can insert any other SIM card with service in Germany (I have a few others).  Is there anything else that I seemed not or should I do?

• Cannot remove the bitlocker encryption

  I added a password for bitlocker on an external hard drive usb, now I want to remove this password, so I click on the drive, select "Manage Bitlocker", then click on 'Remove the password of this player' and get a message "this password is the only way to unlock this drive.  Add another method to unlock before removing the password".   do a google search for this phrase bugs me only 6 hits, with bing only 3.  most are not English, but it seems that not many people have this problem, what is special about my situation?  7 Vista Ultimate, computer laptop Dell M1530, no TPM, bitlocker no chip anywhere else, I decided to try for the first time on an external drive.  I can still copy on my 50 GB of files and reformat the hard disk, but it has got to be a way to remove it.

  solved by going into Control Panel and was able to remove the encryption here.  That is not very well planned, I enabled Bitlocker in a context menu in Explorer, I should be able to turn off in the same way, do not receive these strange error messages.

  Hi all, finally, I was able to root the phone by using a different method. I tried almost all methods, I could find on the net, but nothing has worked. I did not put the phone to ICS. I wanted to root the phone as it is. After days of research, I came across a method to unlock the boot loader and root the phone with Fastboot. I was able to root the phone using the kernel appropriate using this fastboot flash boot 3_184_kernel.elfcommand file. It was quick easy. Thought that someone will find it useful.   I would like to know;

  1. What is the brand and model of your computer?
  2. Do you have any pending updates?

  This happens usually if the SD card is locked. You can try the methods below and check.

  Method 1: Unlock the memory card.

  There is a switch lock on the left side of the SD card. Make sure the lock switch is dragging up (unlock position). You will not be able to edit or remove content on the card if it is locked.

  If the problem persists, follow method 2.

  Method 2: Remove the write protection depends on the source of the problem.

  The SD card has a tab on the side write protection which slipped down. This can happen when the card is inserted in the computer. Try to remove the card, push the rear tab in place and try to insert into the computer again. Read the manual provided with the SD card to help.

  If the problem persists, follow method 3.

  Method 3:

  a. Insert the memory stick into the computer

  b. go to desktop and under the gaze of devices with removable storage for your card reader

  c. right-click on it, and then click Properties

  d. in the pop up box, sometimes there is an option to remove the write protection. Change the State of this option, and then try again.

  I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below:

  a. click Start > Control Panel

  b. locate the Bitlocker Drive Encryption and click on it.

  Then you can see all the partitions on your hard disk and their encryption status, whether encrypted or not.

  c. who is encrypted, you will find an option to turn off bitlocker. Click on it and wait for the machine to decrypt.

  Why did you encrypt your files? You did it because you wanted to prevent anyone from reading your files, unless you have the password and the key.

  With BitLocker, you have selected a great tool. It does exactly what you wanted. There is no backdoor.

In this case, a reduction of 20 times in distance travel could be carried out, and assuming that all the locks are immediately granted (environment stockings) speed up to should be almost 20 times more!

  I didn't say it is useless to try to create a custom solution. If you need the participation of JTA transaction, you can create your own JCA adapter on top of your solution, one that gives you even more features and addresses some of the shortcomings we see in CacheAdapter (the problem of blocking the death of customer and the only CacheAdapter by transaction JTA by collecting several maps to commit "transaction-cards"). This adapter can wrap caches in your own packaging before you create a TransactionMap on the wrapped cache. The wrapped cache divert the locking operations of your approach instead of locking of the own coherence methods.

  It is not very easy to do, but it's not very hard either.

  It feels like it's one of those things that, for many reasons, is the most great part of the product that solved by each developer (or a community project) - the most important integration with map of transaction...
