In general, depends on the version of Money that create the files and the version of Quicken in which you want to import.

Here are the instructions if you have money 2007 or 2008 and Quicken 2009 or newer: http://quicken.intuit.com/support/articles/getting-started/upgrading-and-conversion/7468.html

  • Microsoft Money, more sunset

My Bank does not support more money for the download of my transactions.  They offer a download to Quicken, QuickBooks and text file format.  If I choose the text, I'm then offered to choose a field delimiter for Tab, comma or space.  I used money since 1995 and do not have the time to learn another checkbook program. Can someone help me please?

  • Microsoft Money 2005 does not update the quotes online.

Since July 1, 2013 my Microsoft Money 2005 update quotes. I get a message indicating that the quotes have been updated, but prices remain at July 1. Then, when I go directly to the Comstock updated link, I get another message that the update has been "successful." But prices of July 1 are still in place.

  • How can I fix error 1326 install Quicken 2013 in Windows 8

I'm running Windows 8 and I get the following error message (verbatim) when I try to install Quicken 2013 (or re-install Quicken 2012)

    _______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Quicken Failed to install - Exit Code: 1326

    The reason for this error:

    1326.error error file security: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\ GetLastError: 5

    _______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Intuit tip of the finger firmly at Microsoft and said that it is a registry error.

It is aggravating me beyond words. The suggestions that I find are to reinstall Windows Installer (Windows 7 solution) or unsubscribes and re-0register the installer, which does not work either.

If anyone has any suggestions or better yet, solutions! I would be very grateful. Currently, I can not install any version of Quicken because this error occurs every time now.

    Thanks in advance!

    Jim

Using Windows 7, I spent hours looking for the solution to this question - Intuit, Microsoft and all that I was able to Google.  I came across this answer on the Site from the TurboTax software, and in fact, it worked for me.  I should note that, instead of simply refer 2 folders, I Redid the security on what whether in files of program or lists lists common target Intuit or Quicken.  Maybe it will work for win 8 also.

    Error 1326 when installing TurboTax

    Updated: 03/03/2011
    Article ID: SLN46781

If you do not have the permissions in a certain folder required by TurboTax, 1326 error occurs when you try to install TurboTax.

    Solution
    1. Using Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), search for the following files.

      • C:\ProgramData\Intuit
      • C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Common
    2. Right click on the folder itself, and then select Properties.
    3. Click the Security tab and then click the Edit button.
      • If a UAC window appears, click OK .
    4. In the window permissions , in the group or user names section, select your Windows user name. If your user name is not in the list:
      1. Click the Add button.
      2. Type your username in the box enter the name of the object to select, click check names, and then click OK.
    5. In the permissions for users section, select the full control check box in the allow column.
    6. Click applyand then click OK twice to close the permissions window.

I use Quicken, and personally I think it's better than Microsoft Money
has ever been. You can convert your Microsoft Money data and use it with
    Quicken. Read here:

  • Microsoft Money more

I recently downloaded Money more to support instead of Money 2006. In doing so, he opened the new account raise transactions from 2007-8, instead of 2013-14. Worse, enabled it to post two withdrawals, and print checks. But, when I post the deposits, some will work, but another deposit, I tried to send, said a problem in Microsoft would not pass by and send the report to M.Soft. I did it more than 10 times, but it does not solve the problem...

  • Conversion of Microsoft Money to speed up

I use the International Version 14 of Microsoft Money in Australia and have 15 years of data, I need to keep access to.

There is a conversion tool from third party (Quicken) to Australian customers - International version 17 of MS money.

Anyone know how I can convert my money in Version 17 files Version 14 files, so that I can use the Quicken Converter?

The Microsoft Web site has a silver Version 17 by download, but it of a United States version only and will not work with my files of Version 14 International.

I can't wait to hear from someone who has been able to get their Version 14 International Money converted using the Australian converted Quicken files.

  • I am using Microsoft Money 2000. Can I switch to a newer version when it becomes available?

I have Microsoft Money as part of Microsoft Works.  I would like to move so I can import my Money files in Quicken.  This only works with the latest versions of Microsoft Money (2007 and 2008)

Unfortunately, no newer version of money will become available since the program was discontinued. You would need to buy Money 2007 or 2008, install it and then import your Money files in Quicken. I see that Amazon is still selling money 2008.

  • converting file from Microsoft money 2006 to 2007 it gets stuck and says 'work '.

I use Money 2006.  I bought Quicken only to find out that it can only convert Money 2007 or later versions.  So I purchased Money 2007 and upgraded successfully.  Then, I tried to convert my file in Money 2006 to 2007.  I opened the file 2006 and she asked my password as usual.  After that I put in, need me a screen that says "for updating your money file.  It is said that money will convert my file so it can work with it in 2007.  And you're supposed to click on "next".  When I do it says it 'work', but it gets stuck there and nothing happens.  Any ideas?

My question is how can I move all my files in Money 7 to my new laptop? What is the transfer process? I have everything set up, even bought a new flash drive. If anyone has been in a similar situation, or could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
